Noisette Iris

Gourmand that leans feminine BUT, enough masculine notes to not throw it into entirely female territory. The general vibe I get here is a freshly baked rhubarb crumble. I'm getting the rhubarb from a combo of the peach, blackcurrant and rose. It's a cooked rhubarb not a fresh, green one. The hazelnut, orris and coffee create a really nice sweet crumble effect, and the crumble and rhubarb aspects are very nicely blended. I can see where some people are coming from in the other comments but ultimately, I see this as a rosy, grown up, niche 1 million lucky. The profile is completely different but they achieve a scent profile that would suit the same scenarios as 1m Lucky. Has faucets of Turkish Delight as well as strawberry fromage frais Out of 8 samples from Jul Et Mad, this and Ganja Oud stand out as *very good*, above 4.5/5 imo I'm not a fan of rose, and this is a rose bomb but it's really nice, the blend is done well and it leans gourmand enough not to be too feminine or old-lady like.

I absolutely love this. This is a gothic iris, with a smoky burnt background. Probably the burnt vibe comes from the coffee. I don't smell any coffee per se, but I think this note is interpreted like a burnt note here. This makes this combination so lovely. Iris and rose play a wonderful duet in the first place, and the drydown is a soft musk with the iris witch stands out like a chocolaty iris till the end. Longevity is decent, I get about 6 hours on my skin but on clothes it lasts longer, but the sillage isn't very strong, but it stands out just right. I have a decant from this, and I feel like I need a full bottle. Maybe I will purchase one at the end of the year when cold weather kicks in. Scent: 10/10 Sillage: 8/10 Longevity: 7.5/10

This fragrance is simply amazing to my nose! Creamy,floral,nutty- sweet, I honestly can't stop smelling my hand! I can smell slightly the coffee in the background,but the rose with the hazelnuts is a super combination! 10/10 can't fault it!!

A warm and creamy fragrance. Perfect for fall and winter, a feminine scent. It is a gourmand perfume but not too sweet. 9/10

Way too sweet for my liking. It's smells like rose + saffron accord(sort of plastic-y)+ sweet notes. Leans feminine.

A borderline-cloying rose boosted with patchouli. There are slight traces of nuttiness lurking beneath the floral elements, but by and large, barely any trace of iris, and nowhere near enough hazelnut. Having said that, there is a lot going on with this, but not the kinda stuff I was looking for in a scent titled 'Noisette Iris'. This kinda scent reminds me of one of the hundred Montale 'oud' scents, but I can't remember which... I think this accord works and totally warrants functions on its own, but just personally, I would've liked to have seen a stronger woods presence and possibly some kind of resin -- it's just too top heavy for mine. Anyway, worth trying, but not my cup of tea, nor what I was looking for...

In the opening this reminds me of a scent that you would find as a scented bath product or soap. It’s nice, but very “perfumey” as scents go. Definitely leans feminine. Coffee and hazelnut balance the powderiness from the orris and bloom within the first five or so minutes, but I think the addition of blossoms and fruitiness is what is taking the whole scent into that homey “perfumey” territory. A few hours later the dry down gets less sharp and fruity and it is most similar to a softer creamier Intense Cafe. I have a feeling the peach blossom is responsible for the aspect I dislike in this fragrance, as otherwise all of these notes are favorites.

I tested it today together with Lys Nobilis, at first sniff it reminds me of YSL Black Opium, coffee and hazelnuts are pretty prominent. It's sweet, cozy, cuddly type of perfume suitable for autumn and winter.

On card it smelt like a sweet floral iris. On skin the rose and vanilla were strong, and then the penny dropped and it made me recall montale intense cafe.

I do not know who is lying about this perfume, this smells only and exactly like cilantro, nothing else.
