This one doesn't get so much love here but I love it so much! This doesn't smell anything like Valaya but if you like perfumes in the realm of Valaya, I think you'll love this. To my nose, it's a classy (probably even classier than Valaya), clean fruity-floral perfume. There's some warmth in it too, and some soapiness probably from the cherry. The cherry is there but it's not prominent, although it stays during most of the wear. I can smell the spice but I wouldn't classify this as a spicy perfume. I smell the strong cashmeran from the beginning, it smells like soft amber to me (note that anything ambery is always prominent to my nose). I almost cannot smell the tonka bean. The jasmine is there but it's not heavily indolic jasmine. It's clean jasmine. Everything blends out so well it's hard for me to pick up any note really. What I love most about it is although it's clean and well-put-together like Valaya (I love Valaya 🩷), it's more sensual, more darkness, but at the same time, more discreet. Valaya is very loud (and you need very clean skin to pull the scent off). I have capricorn rising and scorpio venus, and this scent is that to me: a woman who looks like she has her life all together and most of the time, she wears black. She looks like a million bucks and you want to be with her but you can't afford her. Longevity is not bad, around 6 hours but projection is very intimate even from the start. Pretty sure people can only smell me when they hug me but they will not be able to tell which perfume i'm wearing, not even the note (like sometimes i can tell if people are wearing yellow flowers, or musk, or caramel,...), which I love. I feel that this perfume suits every occasion and every season, just maybe not very hot summer.

I'm not and never have been a big fragrance person, but this perfume smells so delicious. Picture this: me, a teenage girl, randomly walking into Sephora one day out of sheer boredom and deciding to try out perfumes for fun. The bottle immediately caught my eye, so I obviously decided to spray it. It smelled warm and spicy. It weirdly reminded me of a steaming hot cup of chai. I decided to let it sit on my skin for a bit and walk around, and the dry down was floral-y and sweet. It somewhat reminds me of Good Girl by CH (probably the tonka bean?), but I love it more than Good Girl. I really don't get how this is a cherry perfume, so if you're into cherry, I wouldn't buy this. But OML, if you want a spicy-floral-warm perfume, this is perfect. It does smell "grown-up," so probably not exactly a teenage perfume, but I'm actually attached to this. I look like a weirdo because I keep sniffing my wrists lol.

I have a sample of this which I tested yesterday. I sprays two sprays on my arm at around 3pm and I could still smell it at 1:30pm today. I don’t know if that’s a common thing or just how it reacted on my skin but either way, I’m more than happy with the longevity. On a card strip, I wasn’t overly impressed by the scent BUT I decided to try it on skin anyway. The way this scent transformed from something mediocre to something beautiful really surprised me. I’m new to fragrance collecting so I don’t yet have a “trained nose” but in this, I can smell every single note! I can smell them separately and blended together at the same time. That’s the only way I can really explain it. It’s a perfume that I could wear all year round, day or night and for any occasion. It’s an easy pick for those days when I don’t know what to wear. This is definitely full bottle worthy for me!

I know that this perfume disappointed a lot of people. But I am not one of them. I got her as part of a travel size set along with Not a Perfume. And I LOVE her. This is a signature scent worthy fragrance. It starts out as a realistic sour cherry and then turns into a beautiful, delicate white floral scent with a bit of sweetness. I have worn this fragrance to weddings, as my signature scent on vacation, and just day to day. I have dreamt about this perfume! I will absolutely be picking up a full bottle and hope to always have it in my collection. Projection is light to moderate and it lasts on my skin for about 6 hours, but goes to a skin scent after about 2-3 hours. Update: Bought a full bottle, still obsessed. Performance is better than I remember it being when I had the little travel size.

I got a sample of this and some other JHAG scents a while ago and I just keep on coming back to this one. It's nothing special; a sweet, tart cherry with a jasmine base, but it's just so smooth and pretty. Sits close to skin but lasts quite well and turns into a warmer floral with a hint of cherry, remaining fresh/light throughout. It's young but not juvenile, basic but it has some personality, girly and sweet but not in an overly cutesy way. It lacks depth but layering, especially with its sibling Not A Perfume, can surely assist with that. I'm trying my best to criticize it but even with its faults, I adore it so much I had to order a full size.

this is a gorgeous scent, which has become my "clean" staple. it's very heavy on the pepper, and is quite spicy, which is an aspect i love. the jasmine is quite vague, and i would describe it as a nondescript floral. as with all the juliette has a gun perfumes i've smelt, this has a very mature undertone to it, which makes it perfect for formal events. that being said, it is quite unique, and while i love it, i have had a couple of comments in the past saying they "don't like when i wear that spicy perfume". however, i will never leave a negative review on this perfume, and am forever going to be loyal to juliette.

Once I realized this is NOT a cherry fragrance, my perception changed completely. It is a jasmine and cashmeran scent in a cherry colored bottle. Once I stopped feeling frustrated and annoyed that the cherry note is so weak, and started appreciating Juliette as an ultra modern jasmine scent, I loved it. Jasmine & cashmeran. Cherry is the color of the bottle, but not a prominent note. It's like a joke you hate because you don't get it, and then suddenly you DO and it's really funny. Juliette smells like jasmine, almond, and cashmeran on me, which is fine because cherry notes were never a huge favorite.

Very punk. Very indulgent. Bold. I looooooove this. The sour cherry and pink pepper are addicting together. Has a deep sweetness that feels grounding and empowering on the skin. Smells if Nana (the rocker) had a signature scent. like Punkstar Moodeaux had a louder younger sister. It’s masculine but in the most feminine way possible, that probably makes no sense. Girls who wear this will RUIN lives and I’m rooting for them all the way <3 Both a perfume and a confidence boost in one. Perfecttttttt ☺️

I have a soft spot for JHAG so I might be biased when I say that this is one of the most underrated cherry perfumes out there. It stands out with its airy, woody and spicy interpretation of cherry and it becomes so gorgeous and sexy on my skin. I really want to love the sweeter cherry scents out there, but almost all of them turn really sour and almost putrid-smelling on me. With this one, I can wear it with ease during the daytime without it being too overpowering. Another masterpiece from JHAG!

no syrupy cherry here, it’s dusty and smoky like a vintage shop. surprisingly seductive! I didn’t like it at first, but it kept calling to me every time I’d go to Sephora. it’s not a typical femme fragrance; perfect for anybody that’s getting tired of gourmands. try it out on skin first, she’s pretty sharp! it’ll either give you a headache or make you want to post a risqué photo on Instagram. I’m the latter. if you love pink pepper Juliette is your girl.

smelled this at the store and i think my nose is genuinely broken now, nothing else smells as good to me 😭 its so feminine and sensual but at the same time it doesnt smell CRAZY mature (i dislike wearing mature perfumes) juliette is one of the most prettiest perfumes ever, the cherry adds a dark citrus to the sweetness of the tonka bean and the jasmine brings it down a notch to create one of the best frags ever

At 1st spritz, I didn't think I would like it. It starts with a strong, almost matronly blast of jasmine. After 10 minutes or so, it softens into a warm, cherry, floral scent that lays very close to the skin, but has hours of longevity. Safe for work, all day, any season fragrance, imo. I really enjoyed how JHAG stayed true to it's "skin scent" roots. Juliette is definitely growing on me.

Oh wow. I received a sample with my Sephora purchase that arrived today and sprayed it and thought nothing of it because I smelled the pink pepper and nothing else. Fast forward to 3 hours later and I realize this is a Cherry scent but unlike anything I’ve smelled before! Wow! I’ll wear the sample a few times before purchasing but definitely adding to my list of perfumes I want.

This perfume makes me never want to raise my nose from my collarbones. The cherry came out more lustfully on my skin than my friend's for comparison; it's a scent that you can't just spray on a test strip to decide, but (like with all of their perfumes) you have to try and wear it on yourself. it made me obsessed with myself to a nauseating point, so ofc I had to buy it.

It feels very classy, and I can definitely smells the dark cherry. Smells kind of like wine but still with some sweetness! I won't wear it every day, but definitely on dates or when I'm feeling a little sexier. Edit: I love wearing this while going shopping! I got a compliment on the perfume and overall a lot of attention and compliments while wearing this!

I'm surprised that this doesn't get more love. I've got a small 5ml bottle from a sephora purchase but unfortunately lost it after 2 uses. Couldn't stop thinking about it ever since so I just bought a full bottle. To me it smells like something in the same line as valaya, clean musky fruity florals. Shall give another review after I get to use it more.

so much better than not a perfume. floral and fruity , very elegant and sexy. the pink pepper and jasmine are so prominent here and mix in so well with the cashmeran and tonka bean. a slight cherry scent is there as well , kinda subtle to me but makes this a little bit sweeter , a bit tart too. definitely would want to buy a full size of this.

big fan of nana and vw, i own a travel size of this and enjoyed wearing it for prom/homecoming. when i wear it, i imagine really blurry cityscape photos that you'd take while walking with your friends. plus it's my boyfriend's favorite of my perfumes. although it is not a traditional cherry by any means i still love it greatly.

Absolutely loved this sample. It is a lovely jasmine scent that's a little spicy and a little sweet. It feels very well balanced to me and while I wouldn't describe this as a cherry scent it definitely does have some of that fruit sweetness to it. I will definitely be adding this to the list of full size bottles I need to get.

Never thought I would prefer another JHAG scent over pear inc but juliette might be it for me. Peppery and sharp in the opening and it breaks down to tart cherry and some underlying white florals (jasmine) I will say sometimes the notes dont blend very seamlessly on skin. Perfect winter scent imo happy sagittarius season!!

Love layering this with not a perfume. Its sophisticated and playful at the same time, People have complimented me on this fragrance. Like a lot of juliette has a gun fragrances I've found overspraying can cause it to be grossly strong and chemically but if you find a sweet spot its great.

Opens incredibly warm and spicy and very woody. On the drydown, there's more jasmine and tonka but I still cannot smell any sweet syrupy cherries in this. Maybe it's just my skin but this is a pretty unisex scent! Maybe that's the point though, with the whole modern woman branding

I absolutely love this. It smells elegant and feminine on me. I am partial to pink pepper and I love that bit of sharpness I get with this one. The sillage is nice and the longevity is good. I got a deluxe sample from Sephora as my birthday gift, and this is full bottle worthy!

way more almondy than cherry to me but i love it. reminds me of brit by burberry but not nearly as heavy. got a free 8ml from sephora for my birthday month and while its nothing groundbreaking, i really enjoy it and see myself running out quickly.

Quickly became one of my favorite perfumes. On my skin the spiciness and warmth are the most prominent, that and the subtle cherry makes for such a warm and yet fresh scent that just keeps me captivated.

At first i thought it smelled very grandma-ish but as it dries down it smells delicious. Floral, definitely pink pepper & cherry. Also really long lasting, smelt it on myself 24+ hours after applying.

SEXY. CHERRY. what more can be said??? inoffensive and yet super interesting and unique. i had my doubts admittedly about the combination of pink pepper and jasmine, but i think it works very well!

This scent is addictive. The tart cherry makes way for a sweetness that lasts for hours. I will definitely be looking to add a full size bottle of this to my collection. So yum.

I didn't think something cherry/jasmine was for me, but this settled really nicely on me. I personally stay somewhat away from florals but this one was super nice!

Don’t judge this by a spray on paper or from sniffing the bottle. It really transforms on the skin.

@Alces Alces is absolutely correct: this is all about the jasmine and cashmeran. You're hit with a sharp, synthetic, almost overwhelming blast of them at first spritz, strongly reminiscent of every 90s makeup counter. Very nostalgic, maybe not quite as raunchy, so "modern" in that way. Sephora versus Sears. There's a clean, plasticky, lipstick accord that carries for as long as it lasts, which is LONG (10-12hrs for me). It smells almost clinical. I imagine an ambitious, put-together, in-charge, no-nonsense young woman to be sporting this. This is youthful but grown. Commanding. Unapologetically feminine. This scent is NOT for gourmand and/or cherry lovers. Not a whiff of cherry or even any fruit whatsoever in this one for me. Weird. Might be my skin chemistry, but this seems to be a common gripe in these reviews. Ah welll. Like it for the other notes. @Forbiddenjade and @Madame Veillette are also right: there's this flirty hint of aniseed/licorice, which isn't listed as a note but is interesting to catch in the background for the first couple of hours. Unfortunately, the foreground florals overpower for about that long. The mid to late drydown, a soft-sweet-powdery accord, is my favorite part of Juliette. The pink pepper helps it keep an edge. The florals fade and sweeten over time — very pretty. Finally, the cashmeran and tonka wrap you like a well-fitting garment. It has a mom smell to it. Comforting. So... this really isn't my style, but I can appreciate the construction. Not full bottle-worthy for me but I think I'll enjoy this little sample.

I was convinced I wouldn't like this perfume before I tried it; I was never a fan of fruity fragrances (especially cherry) and I absolutely hated woody fragrances. Somehow Juliette completely subverted my expectations and I was blown away by how much I love it. The cherry is a bit dark, rather than bright and fruity. My biggest gripe with cherry scents was that they were either extremely sweet and cloying, or straight-up medicinal like cough syrup, and this is completely different. The woodiness is gentle and reminds me a bit of spice, but it's not overly spiced like potpourri. The cherry doesn't overpower the rest of the notes and it feels perfectly balanced. Somehow it feels both sexy and cozy at the same time, which is what I love about it. I saw a lot of people describing this as a "femme fatale" fragrance, but I disagree. For me this fragrance doesn't give the vibes of a woman who is outwardly highly seductive and rebellious. Rather, it's more like a good girl with an alluring side to her. It feels young, but not teenage, and Juliette strikes me as very versatile. I could see this being worn both at work and on a date night. I personally like to layer this with it's sibling, JHAG's Not A Perfume, which adds some extra depth of cozy, musky ambroxan/cetalox. I don't buy perfumes for the packaging, but the gorgeous blood red bottle is a plus.

Juliette by Juliette Has A Gun is one of their most interesting releases to date. It opens with a cherry note that lasts for a few minutes and then the cashmeran shows up and takes over for a couple hours. I'm impressed by how much cashmeran is in here--almost an insane amount. Cashmeran is a synthetic woody molecular note that has a rich, warm, slightly savory almost sandalwood vibe with undertones of mushroom. Imagine that, mixed with semi-sweet white florals; the masculine and feminine combine to make something very intriguing and a little sexy. On paper Juliette is a generic jasmine perfume, sort of in the category of Alien, but on skin it is completely different. I wrote this perfume off initially because I only tried it on paper and I tried it in the store with several other fragrances. The closest fragrance to Juliette would be Ode to Dullness, which I own and really enjoy wearing in the fall. This also reminds me of two Glossier You flankers--the white one and the plum one. I definitely like Juliette more than other offerings from the house. Very cool perfume.

On my skin at first I can’t get the cherry note at all, I instead it’s just the jasmine and a touch of pink pepper but also a strong woody smell. Some note in it was screaming wet dirt or wet wood, which I wasn’t expecting but I did like. When it dries down the jasmine becomes strong and the cherry note sweetens it a little. I like this fragrance, it’s not a sweet syrupy scent you sometimes expect from cherry (and I don’t think I’d recommend this if you’re specifically looking for a cherry fragrance) but instead it’s fresh and tart, with florals and at least on my skin something that smells like a damp forest floor (I really love whatever notes are coming through to make that). Definitely a fragrance that would be an easy reach for me and that is appropriate for everyday settings and feels very fresh but not boring

Juliette is decent. not great, not horrible... just decent. i originally got it as a sample from Sephora, just to try it out on my skin. then i found a half-size dabber on Depop for about 15$. the atomizer definitely did it better justice, but the cherry note never really came through for me. it should definitely be marketed more as a jasmine-based perfume. it's great for warm months though, and if you're a cherryhead like me i would reccommend layering with Sol de Janeiro #40 and a cherry scented lotion or body oil; that'll increase the longevity and enhance the cherry. it's a very teenage take on cherry fragrance, so if you're looking for something more sophisticated, look elsewhere. i would also reccommend, as with any fragrance, buying secondhand. it'll save you a lot of money and trouble.

A brand only gets one chance at a namesake perfume, and this is JHAG's choice. Interesting to tie their name to the recent hype of cherry scents, though it does have their signature DNA: light and airy, almost cold to breathe in I received a deluxe sample with my order from their website, so I've been spending some time with Ms. Juliette. I can't tell exactly how I feel... while the longevity is great (I'm smelling it on myself 8 hours later), do I want to smell like this? I'm not sure I wish I got more of the florals or the base notes on this. To me, Juliette is an airy, sweet/tart cherry. A tiny bit of pink pepper. And some of the classic JHAG DNA underneath I'll finish my sample. I enjoy enough to wear it to work, and it's lovely for spring. Just doesn't pull on my heart strings!

I received a sample size of this perfume and it was pleasantly surprising, I'm on the hunt for a good cherry perfume without heavy almond liquor notes (shockingly difficult) while on myself I didn't get many notes of cherry but I still thoroughly enjoyed it, it dried down rather unisex with the clean spicy notes you'd find in a cologne but it has these very subtle fruity/ floral notes that lift it up, quite a sexy perfume but less sultry and more familiar, less lady of the night more take home to your parents. the more I wear it the more I'm growing to love it. first spray was kind of reminiscent of an axe body spray but let it mature on your skin and you'll probably love it. when sprayed on paper it smells like a fruitier younger cousin to chanel °5

I love Juliette has a gun and I just don’t know why because everything they do is so weird but it’s weird, interesting and alluring all at once. I don’t like it but then I do like it. I hate it and I love it. It smells kind of weird but I want more. It’s senseless. That’s the only way I can describe this and the other scents I’ve tried from this house. This one mostly smells like jasmine to me which is giving clean laundry and a middle of the day nap. But then there is something that smells like a late night out in a dimly lit place with someone you are wildly attracted to and want to get to know a little better. Very sexy. I don’t know how they did that. Im sure this review was not helpful at all.

For someone who isn't that into perfumes, for me it smells like someone mixed pepper with the white blossom so..? Body mist. Yet, it smells nice! The florals create a spring atmosphere and the faint cherry (which I can barely smell and if I didn't know cherry was there, I wouldn't have guessed. It's a tinge fruity) adds some depth into it. If Juliette had to be a person, it would be the girl that sits behind you at school that interests you but you could never muster the courage to speak to, so you sometimes glance from afar at her in the halls. I agree with the reviews as it really does smell differently on the skin!

Based on marketing and bottle’s colour I was expecting a cherry dominant scent but Juliette is rather jasmine/white floral dominant with cashmeran, cherry and pink pepper. It’s an ok fragrance, nothing groundbreaking, but very pretty. I like most of Juliette Had a Gun perfume, but don’t expect much cherry from Juliette! Performance is not great, these fragrances are soft and subtle. From my experience, after owning five bottles, none of JHAG’s fragrances perform well. It’s fairly long lasting, about five hours, but don’t expect much radiance from Juliette. It’s rather intimate. Warm weather only.

Yes hello. I am a cis male (for context). This is the first fragrance I’ve found that I feel confident wearing in the spring, fall, and sometimes, winter. It honestly leans very unisex to me, to my nose at least. Just a warm, “casual” feeling. I always like some floral in my fragrance, it just adds something special when done well. “Male” fragrances are always too strong(?) on me, so I prefer something with a bit of a lighter base. I would love to find the perfect blend of floral, spice, and depth. This is a good option for now.

The cherry is there in the beginning, but the jasmine takes over, and while it smells clean, it’s a tad screechy for me in the middle stages, causing me a minor headache. As it dries down, it becomes sweeter, and the cherry reemerges again. I do enjoy its unexpected fizziness. As @chri5tin3 put it, it’s like “a glass of cherry coke.” The cherry coke becomes flat in the end on my skin, but remains clean, sweet and interesting. I do like it a lot.

Hmm. It’s kind of weird and boring but at the same time lovely and cozy but in a cold way. I tested 3 Juliet perfumes. Lady vengeance is my favourite, but Ode to dullness is also very nice. This reminds me of Ode to dullness, like they have the same DNA but this is more fruity. I unfortunately don’t smell cherry, mostly pepper and jasmine. It’s a lovely perfume, I would say that most people would like it so it’s kinda a safe buy for a gift.

I have to say this the only cherry perfume I have found that I like. The others I’ve tried have smelled medicinal on my skin but this smells delicious. Definitely more of a shampooy/clean cherry vs a gourmand one though. The jasmine pairs very nicely. Pink pepper and tonka bean are almost non existent to my nose. Wish it lasted a little bit longer on my skin but I do get a good 3-4 hours with arm lengths projection. Very versatile as well.

It’s an inoffensive dark cherry, very intimate and gentle. I love the opening — very juicy, playful, floral. But like a lot of JHAG perfumes it fades away in a blink of an eye. Maybe it’s just me and my skin but I don’t smell it on myself after 15 minutes which is very disappointing. I asked other people around me if they can smell it — nothing. I want to love it but the longevity makes this almost useless for me.
