Musc Invisible

this baby was a shocker for me, i did not expect to love this scent, i bought the sample set over a year ago and tried the Not a perfume scent ( only ambroxen) which i learned is usualy added to other perfumes for longevity purposes. I am a gourmand girl so I was more drawn to Vanilla Vibes and Mmmm. with that being said I didnt try this scent til recently when i decided to destash some of my scents so that I could find more new loves. lo and behold my signature scent was found, Wearing it gave me an instant feeling or reminder of wearing my most favorite blue jeans sitting on my couch with the screen door open feeling the breeze while sunshine wafts through the house because even though i dont get many loungy days on my couch one sniff of this and im reminded of them. Pure perfection 1. the sprayer on the large 100 mL bottle of Musc Invisible ( yes I Splurged) produces a very fine mist. I find I have to spray more times than a normal atomizer but I still have a lot of perfume left even though I spray so much. 2. to me this smells light and airy and more like a skin scent, but anytime I wear it I get told I smell so good, so obviously it has some sillage. 3. Longevity for my nose seems to be about 4 hours. If I apply this at 5:30 am by 10 am i smell it considerably less 4. I did find that by spraying the "not a perfume" first and letting it dry then adding my love (musc inv) after it does seem to be stronger and lasted longer to me.. so I do that combo often. 5. the price is very heavy 120 or more a bottel on the JHAG website but for the jewel that this is best believe if I cant find a deal somewhere I'm gonna be paying it. And I truly hope that JHAG never discontinues this first spray is a little alcohol heavy, duh its a perfume, but the dry down is exquisite, comforting, and purely addictive

What a gorgeous fragrance (thank god, as it was a blind buy). This is the kind of musk (musc) I adore; while I find some musks - like those in NR fragrances - to be on the sharper, more treble-y side, this one lands firmly in the softer and more bass-y camp that I’m drawn to. First spray and sniff transported me to the musks of the very early ‘90s, and in the most wonderful way. I’ll be quick to clarify that this is not a dated scent; there’s something in the top notes that modernizes it (almost a woodiness, despite that not being among the notes?), but if you’re someone who has occasionally pined for those ‘90s musks, you will find deep satisfaction in Musc Invisible. This is powdery, wood-spicy (not spice-spicy), warm, soft musk at its best, with an updated blend that keeps it contemporary. Musc Invisible is surprisingly robust with respect to projection, sillage, and longevity, especially given its name and other JHaG offerings. While I can spray something like Not A Perfume liberally, Musc Invisible benefits from a lighter hand. This is particularly true if you’re thinking of layering it to soften or complement other fragrances, as one spray too many will have Musc Invisible dominating completely. I did not see that coming! I got this at an amazing price on AllBeauty (UK), so that took the edge off the blind-buy anxiety. For me, it turned out to be not just a safe blind-buy, but a very happy one. If you’re a musk lover (or you’re buying for one), this is a super solid candidate for your collection.

Finally got the chance to try this out! The notes seemed very intriguing and the way people describe the fragrance it’s what my heart and collection was missing! First spritz i couldn’t smell absolutely anything, did a second one and waited. Again nothing. Not even an alcoholic smell. Waited some minutes and yes! Here is she! Very warm and cosy, but still quite shy. I have tested other fragrances from Julliette and these are the only perfumes that truly evolve on me, so i knew i had to be patient. Over the course of about 2 hours the fragrance developed fully and I could smell it clearly. The cotton is there. The musk is somewhere in the background and it’s there to compliment the cotton. Was quite surprised of the sweetness as well. Didn’t imagine it like that at all. The smell was very familiar but i couldn’t really tell immediately. It literally smells like a baby. It has this pure and clean “skin” smell, but not like “i just got out of the shower” kind. Absolutely love it and will purchase the biggest bottle. Perfect everyday fragrance when i dont feel like wearing a perfume.

Very beautiful musk scent, so smooth soft, and creamy. I agree with a comment saying that this is transparent. This compliments the skin so beautifully. If you would love to enhance the odor of your skin and make it more attractive, more inviting, sensual, and sexy this is It. I spray this directly on my skin and it is just magic! As a comment below says you forget that you wear perfume, but time after time you get snifs of it and it is just perfect. It truly seems that your skin naturally is smelling this good as it is so creamy and soft. I think this scent should be put directly on skin, not on clothing, it's very intimate, very sensual a bit erotic in such a beautiful way. It's crazy how a perfume so simple can be so seductive but soothing at the same time. Calming and not loud, but takes you on such a journey. You just feel magical... I feel so pretty when I wear this. 10/10, just amazing! And I am not even a fan of musk note to begin with.... One of the best creations of this brand. Worth more attention than it gets! I'm obsessed....OBSESSED.

As a loyal Essence by Narciso Rodriguez enjoyer, Musc Invisible may become my replacement signature scent when my luck hunting for the now-discontinued designer fragrance eventually runs out. They are not 1:1, and comparing them both now on each wrist, Musc Invisible is notably dirtier and darker, whereas Essence has a brighter, cleaner profile that nails the "clean laundry" thing a little more accurately. I do think that's expected, though; Musc Invisible brands itself as being more of a clean skin than clean towel scent. There's not much to say given that there's only 3 notes here, except that the jasmine is almost undetectable on my skin. Even as someone who generally prefers more complex scents, though, I find it very beautifully balanced. As is desired of signature scents, it's perfect for all seasons and times of day. Sadly, this has quite disappointing projection compared to the absolute sillage beast that is Essence.

Epic blind buy failure. This is the very first JHAG scent to which I'm anosmic. I was really looking forward to enjoying this since it contains all the notes I love. 😢😢 Alas...it is not to be for me. 😭🤧 12/30/22--I followed the suggestion of a kind perfume peer who read my review & suggested I hold onto it & keep trying. I'm glad I listened to him because I applied some tonight & I get it now. 😊 I love how clean this smells. Fantastic casual scent. Many thanks to The Wolf. 🥰 1/4/23--wore this to the radiologist today. When I was leaving, a woman followed me down the hallway just to find out what fragrance I was wearing. 😊 Even more grateful I kept this bottle. 1/31/23 -- layered this with Montale Intense Roses Musk...absolutely divine! Compliment getter with a delish trail. 6/20/23 -- layered this with Bond No. 9 Scent of Peace & we have a winner!!! 💥🏆🙌🏾 More compliments.

Opens with a powdery clean white floral; I can see how people can compare the opening to a Dove soap bar, but once it dries down a bit it's so beautiful. Musky and slightly sweet, it reminds me of the small of my cat lol I love it. On my skin, the dry down smells warm, clean, natural, fluffy. I find it doesn't last extremely long on skin (~5hrs), but it lasts on fabric quite long. Not wafting down the hallway, but you can definitely smell it up close. Also I think maybe I go a bit nose blind to it at the end of its wear time; often I won't smell it anymore, but I'll still get a compliment on it. This is one of my signature scents that I wear year round, but I think this perfume is also very nice to layer with, especially in summer.

Okay so I am loving this whole house, but this one might be my favorite. It's a clean, effortlessly beautiful scent. Think of a time when a beautiful woman in jeans walked by you and smelled so fresh and pretty, you turned your head and wondered if it was a combination of shampoo, soap, and clean body smell, or a lovely perfume that projects just the right amount and makes you want to keep smelling. Sorry that was a run-on sentence. You get the point. The woman who wears this is a confident, natural beauty who's not trying too hard. She exudes that joie de vivre and reminds you of a sunny day. She can just as easily clean up and attend an exclusive event as she can stroll along the beach in flip flops. I love wearing this.

I have tried many JHAG fragrances and have struggled with almost all of them. For me, this one is an immediate favorite. Soft and simple, clean and fresh. Perfect for a bedtime or after the shower. Ona day I just want to feel fresh and clean, this is exactly what I’d reach for. Maybe I’m going through my “skin scent” phase as I’ve found I gravitate to these types of profiles more lately. But I really like this one. Smells like a bath soap, before the fancy scents of today, but a bar of dove soap. It’s like smelling like getting out of the tub and wrapping myself in a clean soft towel fresh out of the dryer. If you like strong scents, this isn’t for you. But I love the simple and clean profile of this one. Very nice.

This perfume. Lord, where do I start? So the initial spray smells kinda weird—like old man and hairspray. That being said, the DRY DOWN on this is MAGNIFICENT. It’s worth the screechy first sprays in my opinion. Afnan Pure Musk is very similar though not the same. She smells very reminiscent of Jovan White Musk from the 90s. I love her despite her flaws. I will probably always have her in my collection. EDIT: Came back to comment on the longevity. On me it’s very weak. I feel like I have to overspray it to get it where I want it. The problem is it’s a little expensive to be spraying so frivolously. 2nd EDIT: The Dua Brand Invisibility is an exact 1:1 dupe. And much cheaper.

This perfume has become an obsession. I went from not liking, to liking, to loving this frag. To me, this is the ultimate clean, pure white fragrance. Wearing this completely relaxes me. The cotton flower note in this is unmatched by any other fragrance. My decant ran out and and I promptly bought a 100ml tester for a good price. I haven't smelled body shop or any of the cheaper alternatives. I got the genuine fragrance because I didn't want to take a chance that they would be missing the cotton magic that this one has. I sleep like a baby with this fragrance. This is what bedsheets in heaven must smell like 😇

Another hit from JHAG. I love this. I love musky scents in general and this one is just crisp, clean, pure musk. It's the OG DNA but dial up the powder/laundry factor all the way. It smells like the dry down of Jovan or Coty Musk or Nemat's Egyptian Musk perfume oil but without any of the old and grody. It's really clean. I love it, but it can be super cloying for warmer temps. That being said, it's not original and quite overpriced. If you don't mind the cheapie musks in the first 1 hour just buy a bottle of Jovan or Coty or Nemat for <30 USD. This would be good for layering; it's very linear/simple.

When I first tried this perfume I was completely surprised by how much I liked it! This was my first musk fragrance and it is my go to! It sticks to me for ages. At first it can have a bit of a hair spray smell and it can really pack a punch. It dries down quickly and leaves a very sexy, grungy musk that feels natural, very your skin but better. Almost like if sweat smelled really good? I will say this perfume is not for individuals sensitive to smells and it can be a little headache inducing if applied overzealously.

I think I can truly call myself a fan of Juliette Has a Gun (not a perfume, sunny side up, vanilla vibes, ex vetiver, ode to dullness). I love their fragrances, and this one is no exception. A scent cleaner than clean. I was a bit surprised to see jasmine in the pyramid, because I can't smell it at all. What I do smell is a perfect blend of white musk and cotton—a soft, clean scent with something extra. Something that definitely sets it apart from ordinary clean fragrances; there’s a cozy touch to it. I love it!

Compliment getter. Perfect for any office or other work places where there are many people, people in the lift, or if you work with patients or in a very short distance between you and them. Perfect for the weekend. Or any occasion when you do not want to overwhelm anybody with your scent. Still, they detect it and love it. It is a flowery soft musc, radiating max. 30-40 centimeters from your body. You smell nice, fresh, feminine. Very simple, but sometimes less is more.

I love this perfume. If I didn't have so many others, I'd wear it everyday. It lasts all day on me, and I find myself smelling my wrists throughout the day. It does remind me of the Body Shop's White Musk, which is another favorite, but without the cotton flower. I started out with the travel size, and quickly ran out I used it so much, so I bought the large size. I could definitely see repurchasing many times over. Just writing about it makes me want to wear it today.

This is what your favorite teacher in elementary school smelled like. She was kind, sweet and gave the best hugs. One time she even let you borrow her gloves on that one outing when your fingers froze because you forgot to bring your own gloves. You'll never forget her. You've subconsciously chased this perfume ever since in the hopes of running into her again. You never did but this scent will bring back all those fond memories. Enjoy ♥

This is so gorgeous and soft, and just when you have forgotten that you even have any fragrance on, you catch a whiff, and it's warm and beautiful. Transparent is a word that I've seen folks use to describe it. I love wearing it to bed, it's so cozy and soothing. It's a versatile fragrance, great one for an everyday reach, and also excellent as a "frosting" on top of what you're already wearing, love it as a layering scent!

this has really grown on me; would i wear this out of the house? no but this is the PERFECT bedtime scent it is so calming perfect to spray on skin and onto bedding to allow yourself to be conditioned into sleeping. it doesn’t smell like much nor does it have a bold silage but that makes it perfect for a bedtime scent it’s a beautiful linen scent line baby powder super calming and musky to make you go to bed

In a nutshell... this is the high end, luxurious sister of Body Shop's White Musk. It is almost identical to the 90's version of it, the major difference that makes Musc Invisible worth its price is that it can last for a whole day without having to spray again and again. It's a very soothing, comforting scent, an essential for days that i need something calm and inoffensive or nights that i can't sleep.

I started loving this scent. It reminds me of old white musk formula from The Body Shop. This is a little bit gentler and sweeter, if I remember correctly. I see this as a really good alternative. For my nose Musc Invisible has a very weak sillage and short longevity, but I don’t really care. I am happy to have it, for me it is a sexy scent, I like to wear it when I feel confident enough

I’ve been wearing this perfume for a year now and it is a lovely clean scent. Got several compliments that surprised me as I thought the sillage was quite weak - apparently it is not. I get the similarity to the Body Shop’s White Musk, only to some extent. Musc Invisible is a more complex, fancier scent while White Musk has that strong chemical note that convinced me not to buy it.

I smelled this months ago, and found it very very nostalgic. I remembered wearing something that smelled exactly like this when I was young... And today, when I pulled this from my drawer, sprayed it again and it immediately hit: this smells like the Avon chapstick "Care Depply" with aloe from the 90's! And I'm loving it! This smells just like lotion and skin care products.

Gorgeous fresh almost therapeutic musc. I care not that this is marketed for women, I think it’s perfectly unisex and one that both my wife and I can both enjoy. Not a lot of development so yes it’s linear but it’s also a compliment magnet. Wonderful and can be worn at anytime in any season. I don’t think a single person would find this off putting or negative. Spray on....

Honestly I’m surprised by this! It is such a comfortable scent. It has a sweet undertone, but it’s not cloyingly sweet, it reminds me of beeswax. If beeswax was listed in the notes instead of jasmine, it would make much more sense to me, to be honest. On top of it is a fluffy combination of musk and cotton flower. And as a plus, my grandma likes it as well ❤️

My go to whenever I don't feel like picking something out. I would say you go noseblind pretty quickly with this fragrance, but that isn't the same thing as it disappearing. I get compliments hours after applying! Smells clean, like fresh laundry and definitely something I want to keep in my collection long term. You either love it or hate it. I'm a lover.

this smells like freshly washed clean bed sheets. but instead of a sharp, detergent-like scent, it has a softness with a hint of florals. it also carries a bit of nostalgia as if you're sleeping in a bed at your grandma's house where the freshly laundered sheets have just been laid out. it's one of my favorite scents, makes me feel comforted.

This smells exactly like HUGGING a fresh, warm load of laundry right out of the dryer. After you just came out of a long, relaxing hot bath. And you're gonna make the bed with said delicious laundry and sleep 12h straight. Smells like that, but somehow even better. *Projection is amazing, lasts 8+ hours on skin and an eternity on clothes.

Just got my nose on this today for the first time since 1996. Got hit by an overwhelming nostalgia and transported back to high school where my girlfriend at the time used this scent. It's so so good. Warm and intimate, fluffy, musky and sexy at the same time. This is a clone of Body Shops White Musk from that era (90ies).

Yep, yep, yep. I get it. I get all the reviewers. Yes it's a bit Jovan/White musk. but then it's soapier, fresher, and has a very elegant powdery sweetness to it. It ends up being incredibly nice and soft, cocooning, although you become nose blind easy enough... I wish it had more sillage and staying power.

A nice soft musky powdery scent. It’s definitely subtle but I love the way it smells on my skin. It’s just so soft and comforting and it gives me the feeling of being a child and drying off after a bath with a towel straight out of the dryer. I reach for it whenever I want something soft and clean.

Such a delicate, minimalist yet complex perfume. I didn't like it from the first sense, but once it sits on the skin for a few minutes it transforms into something addictive. I get the vibe of something dark, mysterious, very rich from it. An evil character attending a masquerade ball.

This is Body Shop's old White Musk sister who is almost identical but grown up and fancier. Very snuggly, true to the notes and it works great with Not a Perfume or any other "your skin but better" fragrances. Safe blind buy and perfect for a gift. Never met anyone who dislikes it.

If you’re missing the vintage White Musk from the Body Shop before the recent reformulation - this is it! Floral, fluffy, musky. Absolutely gorgeous & clean. If you’re choosing between Jovan White Musk and JHAG, I’d say choose this one because Jovan can read mature and retro.

I adore this as a going to bed scent, I got it in a JHG discovery set and it's my favourite from the set, the cotton flower for me gives it a softness that makes me feel relaxed and clean, I adore this. I just wish I could find an affordable option

This is the perfume that made me fall in love with JHAG. I'm a sucker for cotton blossom and cozy scents in general, and this one is the perfect blend of the two components. It's my go to for errand days and smells like fresh laundry. LOVE!

@lemonblue 11 sprays of Musc Invisible is total overkill, the fragrance is fairly strong, you're not giving it justice by overspraying, just saying. (interesting you find it weak 😁 look what perception is in different people haha)

A shower and a fresh set of clean clothes in a bottle. It is surprisingly powerful for its notes but the dry down sits very close to the skin. If you’re looking for a fresh laundry scent then this is a great choice. 9/10

This is just beautiful 😍 My favorite musk scent. Fresh crisp linens. This perfume had me searching for other scents with cotton flower. Almost finished a bottle in record time and will definitely get another.

This is so 80's but in the best way possible. It reminds me of Body Shop White Musk and Avon Odyssey. Basically soft lilies, sandalwood and musk. I love to wear this one! I get a fair amount of compliments.

I love this perfume so much! It makes me feel fresh, clean, like I just came out from a laundry. Is long lasting and this one is one of my most complemented perfumes. I'll repurchase this one.

Smells exactly like Afnan Pure Musk...there is no smell of jasmine...its just musk...maybe little softer than afnan...it can be kinda heavy if u overspray...overall its a great scent

Smells just like dove original deodorant and the white soap bar just a little more fluffy and creamy! Reminds me of the opening of noa catcharel.

I love this. It’s TBS white musk but less laundry and more clean body after showering with a slightly floral soap.

A very creamy, milky, clean musk. Its comforting, not meant to be groundbreaking.
