Sweet, powdery, fluffy, musky, white floral, amber/warm, caramel, almond, feminine, sensual, elegant, modern, sophisticated, chic, ethereal, charming, whimsical, enchanting , delightful, alluring, tempting, addictive, inviting, cozy, comforting This is super pretty! It’s Delightfully delicate, but has a definite presence too! It’s not the sugar bomb that you might expect from the notes, although the sweetness is still there. Think the powdery coating on a marshmallow instead of the whole thing, and the delicate whisps of spun sugar instead of a mouthful of cotton candy. Those intertwine beautifully with the sweet and citrusy orange blossom and nutty and powdery candied almond. The dry down shines with the addition of soft musk and caramel-like and vanillic tonka bean. Overall, it’s a very sophisticated, chic, and elegant marshmallow and cotton candy blend swirled with orange blossom, caramel, candied almond, and musk, that’s the perfect gourmand for the clean girl aesthetic. Whenever I very first tried mine I was surprised because it wasn’t the sugar bomb that I’d been expecting (for example something along the lines of LDBS, Pink Sugar, ect). However, after giving it a chance to just be what it actually was I really fell in love with it. It comes across much more like Valentino DBIR Ivory and YSL Black Opium Glitter (obviously without the coffee note), and they’re actually quite similar, especially DBIR Ivory. Ivory is extremely close, just a little more citrusy because it has a green mandarin note, but otherwise at least to me they smell almost identical. This feels very feminine to me, and suitable for women of all ages. I think it works well throughout the whole year because it’s sweet and cozy enough for the fall and winter, but also delicate enough for spring and summer so as not to be cloying. This feels most suitable for casual occasions, work/school, and maybe even date nights if you want something sweet and pretty as opposed to deep, dark, and sensual. I get great performance with Powder Love. The longevity is excellent, It literally lasts throughout the entire day on my skin. The projection is around moderate, it radiates out at least an arm’s length from me. Sweet, powdery, musky, floral, nutty, warm, delicate, soft, feminine, sensual, elegant, chic, charming, whimsical, ethereal, radiant, graceful , dreamy, flirty, playful, sophisticated, delightful, inviting, alluring, tempting, cozy I want to start by really exaggerating to PLEASE just give this a chance to be what it is as its own scent without expectations or preconceptions . Once I let go of my ideas for what I thought this would be was when I discovered how very beautiful it actually is, and truly enjoyed it for that! So, give it some time and chances before writing it off. I’m certainly very glad that I did! In doing so I almost feel as if I’ve discovered a hidden treasure that everyone else is somehow overlooking! Despite the sugary notes, Don’t expect an intense sugar rush here. This is sweet, and leans somewhat gourmand, but has a more simplistic musky and powdery sweetness as opposed to anything full on gourmand with rich, decadent, or heavy sweetness. Think more of the marshmallow’s powdery dusting as opposed to the marshmallow itself, and of the delicate wisps of spun sugar creating the cotton candy as opposed to anything like a mouthful of it. It’s actually quite sophisticated. The orange blossom adds a beautiful citrusy floral with a subtle soapiness, and candied almonds add a delicate, delightful, and delicious powdery sweetness. The dry down becomes more musky and gains a warm vanillic caramel scent from the tonka bean. I am somewhat reminded of Valentino DBIR Ivory with this one. They share some notes like marshmallow, orange blossom, and musk, and have a similar overall feeling to them. @HooperG so to me this feels feminine, but I also think that you should wear whatever you like. On me it’s predominantly a soft and fluffy musky marshmallow with some orange blossom and a touch on tonka intertwined. It’s not sugary sweet like LDBS, Oriana, or Pink Sugar, but it has a pretty, almost delicate sweetness to it. Think of the sweetness like the powder on the outside of a marshmallow, or like the delicate wisps of cotton candy instead of a mouthful. Honestly, I find it the most similar to Valentino DBIR Ivory. They’re surprisingly really quite similar to each other. The other “reminds me of” fragrances are slightly similar, but as I mentioned they’re much sweeter. I saw the notes for this one, and knew I was blind buying it as soon as it was available. It was quite different from what I was expecting though. However, once I let go of my preconceptions I loved it for what it actually was. I personally tend to prefer sweeter scents like LDBS, Oriana, Yum Boujee Marshmallow, Pink Sugar, ect, but this feels like a more sophisticated marshmallow and cotton candy scent. It’s kind of subtle, but it’s got great longevity. I only bought the travel spray of it, but I’ll be buying a larger bottle soon! I’ve already used more than half of the travel spray which really means something considering how large of a collection I have. It’s definitely in my top 3 JHAG fragrances along with Lust for Sun and Vanilla Vibes! I agree with what Arachnoslut said about this being basic yet lovable, and like the popular girl at school who is popular not only because she’s beautiful, but because she’s also genuinely a good person. That really does feel like the vibe I’m getting from Powder Love. Words can't describe how much I adore this fragrance. I feel like they hit the nail on the head with the promotional photos, as that is exactly what I picture when I smell this; floating through the sky surrounded by soft and wispy clouds of spun sugar. There is also a freshly laundered vibe to it, like hanging freshly washed linens out to dry under a pink sky (did not mean for that to rhyme!). As the name would suggest, it is VERY powdery. Powdery in a way that reminds me of Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato. Despite not being a sugar bomb, it is still very sweet, but delicate. Because of this, I was concerned about its longevity, but I can confirm that it has amazing lasting power. Before I purchased my bottle, I had sprayed my wrist with my decant before I went to the gym to test. Throughout my 2 hours of being there, I could smell it emanating from my arm, and was a bit worried that it was too strong for the gym. This perfume has made its way to the top of my collection, as I want to reach for it all the time. Signature scent worthy for sure! ☁️🩷🎀

I’ve gone through such a rollercoaster with this perfume; I was excited for it, then nervous to buy it after its release because it seemed to disappoint a lot of people. I recently decided to take a chance and bought a 50ml bottle and I’m honestly in love with this fragrance. On my skin, it’s super powdery at first, but it dries down to this nice, fluffy, marshmallow and cotton candy like scent. It’s sweet to my nose but thankfully not too cloying. It’s just so pretty and feminine - but don’t let that stop you if you’re interested and don’t necessarily feel like you align with that; at the end of the day, it smells really freaking good and would on anyone. I pair this with a baby powder scented lotion and it’s just so comforting 🩷 I’m super happy this fragrance worked out for me and I’m excited to see how it ages. Since the reviews are so mixed, I would say to try smelling this in person if you can first before buying!

Okay to my nose on first spray this is more of a clean musky with maybe a touch of powder and some sweetness in the background. I was hoping for a very sweet powder bomb. I don't understand why brands are so misleading with their marketing & fragrance names this year! * Looking at you Kayali & Valentino * this was a blind buy and I don't own anything else from JHAG, none of their Fragrances have been a total love for me so far. This is a pretty scent. Doesn't really scream fall to me. Definitely Spring might be good all year round. This is my first wear so can't say much for longevity and projection. Love how the bottle looks and I also like the packaging box it arrived in. To my nose I feel like this perfume should've been named Musk Love 🤷♀️ its pretty, I'll keep my 100ml can always use as a bedtime scent year round. Currently wouldn't be a repurchase for me. Maybe I'll fall in love the more I wear it.

They weren't kidding when they named this "powder love". It does smell a bit like baby powder, but it also smells like soap. It's extremely clean. There's a time and a place for this. I would imagine, the guy you're dating comes over, it's late night, he hugs you but he doesn't think to himself "damn she smells good", he thinks...."damn, she really takes care of herself. She smells like a lady." This kind of reminds me of Maybe Baby by Benefit but better. However, I wish it was sweeter, but I could just top it off with Yum Bougie or Delizia. It will also pair very well with super sweet lotions. I wonder why Juliette isn't selling this one at Sephora. Update 07/14/26 The dry down is where the sugary sweetness comes in. After about 2 hours after spraying, I kept getting whiffs of something sugary and it took me a moment to realize it was this perfume. I am starting to like this fragrance more and more.

Upon initial spray, I thought I'd got a straight-up copy of Kayali BM, but that was short-lived, after a few seconds, the sweetness dissipates, and there is a beautiful powder scent that becomes prominent. In 2003 I took a trip to Dublin and bought a lilac coloured loose pigment eyeshadow and this is that exact smell, i'm surprised not to see violet in the notes, but maybe that's just what i cant smell on my skin. A clean smell in my opinion, very potent so less is more in this instance. I really enjoy this, as I do most powdery scents. This isn't a sickly sweet gourmand; the marshmallow dissipates very quickly, but I think it's a good opener for the scent to follow. The longevity is pretty decent, not sure this would be suitable for work unless sprayed very sparingly, i can see this giving some people a headache to be honest. All in all, really glad I picked this up!

Disclaimer: I just got a the "Powder Love" discovery set and am now testing all the perfumes in that set and giving my first impression here. I still have to test the scents on how they wear throughout the day. This was the scent I got the discovery set for. I saw it and the name just spoke to me because I seem to be a sucker for powder scents. This perfume reminds me of some sweet and I can't put my finger on it. I really like how warm and sweet this scent is. It is exactly what I wanted out of Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar but without the annoying note that made me dislike that perfume. It is not sickly sweet it is just sweet in a very cozy way. I will test it some more but I think I will have to get a full bottle of this. edit: I tested it some more and I am in love. I'll get a full bottle as soon as my samples are empty and will wear it a lot in fall and winter.

soft sweet feminine scent. Definitely powdery as the name suggest. This type of scent makes me feel pretty... it’s very light pink too in its DNA. It’s not really the cotton candy that drew me in, or the marshmallow either... these notes don’t really stand out to me at any stage of her presence. However maybe the mix of them together creates this really addicting combination that reminds me of the thick lather from a soap bar mixed with pink bubble gum when the perfume is on my skin. I mean that in the best way possible because I obviously enjoy whatever that is. It’s not too sweet but the sweet kind of subtly fresh. Fresh but not at all aquatic. Fresh in a very cloudy powdery kind of way that I’m not sure I can reference in many other places. Very cute very wearable and I really can see myself reaching for this one all may long.

Pretty Princess Its a bright fluffy sweet powdery very girly scent. The opening is a very bright fluffy sweetness with the tiniest hint of fruitiness. Imagine a Cotton Candy orange blossom fabric softener... which then dries down into a powdery musky candied almond skin scent. Its sweet and fluffy/powdery from beginning to end and very innocent and feminine throughout. Though the notes might suggest it Powder Love doesn’t smell anything like PDM Oriana! Its a whole lot softer, fresher and lighter. It has the fluffy powdery vibe of perfumes like Kilians Princess and the bright fruity sweetness of Versace Dylan pour femme. Overall has a similar vibe like a 50/50 mix of Kilian’s Princess and Prada Candy sugar pop Although i expected it to be a lot more powdery and sweet based on the marketing i would consider this a safe blind buy.

This is called Powder Love, so yes, it is powdery. However, you do get the cotton candy and the marshmallow but not in a sugar shock manner. The orange blossom is also present in the mid and it’s gorgeous. The dry down is the best part, it’s where the slightly sweetness of the cotton candy and marshmallow gets enveloped by the powdery notes and the Tonka to give it an ethereal scent. On my skin it lasted about 6-8 hrs. This is a beautiful scent! Is it for everyone? No, but the dislike for it because it’s not a sugar covered perfume it’s just uncalled for. This is a scent that people who are not crazy about gourmands sugar shock fragrances can enjoy, as well as those that love sweetness without being overpowering. I highly recommend this.

I really like this one. Perfect balance of sweet and powdery. It was exciting to smell for the first time. I don’t know if it was this perfume or the jacket I was wearing but I did smell something similar to Miami Shake without the strawberry syrup smell. Maybe it has a similar base. It’s a simple fragrance which I always appreciate but it does have some variety and depth I believe due to the floral scents mixing with the powder and marshmallow. To me it smells like what I wanted Yum Boujee Marshmallow and Miami Shake to smell like. I can’t smell it after a few hours though. Also, if you layer this with Lili Fantasy, you get My Way without the headache. I plan to try to mix this with Miami Shake and see what happens.

Love this! Recent release from JHAG, which is VASTLY underrated & misunderstood. I am not a fan of the brand at all, however 'Powder Love' is elegant, mature & beautiful....unique in the JHAG roster. Romano Ricci has taken inspiration from vintage French perfumery: in the same family as Guerlain & Bvlgari. It's this classy, powdery, semi-sweet creation with good staying power & moderate projection. I don't know how to explain what I'm smelling fully, but there is a complexity in here. This is NOT a jovial, gourmand fragrance...rather for mature women definitely in 50+ age range. 'Powder Love' is meant for a formal evening out in a sophisticated, sparkling gown. Sublime.

I really don't understand the hate for this fragrance. This and Lust for Sun are competing for my favorite JHAG scents outside of Not A Perfume. I guess every nose is different - I don't get strong marshmallow, but it's a subtle bedfellow to the opener of cotton candy. I definitely sense the almond and orange blossom, but the bottom notes are what last the longest. My only regret with this fragrance is that it doesn't last nearly long enough on me. I'm guessing the more beloved a fragrance, the shorter it lives because some reviews say it lasts over 8 hours. For me, maybe 2 hours unless I spray my clothes.

My new and first-ever signature scent! Smells feminine and powdery but still young. Just what I wanted for my early 20s. After having my eye on it for a while, I actually blind-bought the full-size bottle! hahahaha risky, I know, so it's a good thing I like it. I love how musky and warm it is while still being sweet. It just has all the aspects I personally love and wanted (and I had to know myself this well and read lots of reviews for this blind buy), but I know it is something different for JHAG's brand and can see why others are hesitant.

I’m wearing this at home on a gloomy and rainy day in The Netherlands and I absolutely love it. Very cozy. Smells good without being able to pinpoint exactly what it is. I would call this a marshmallow skin scent. A toned down version from what you might expect. Not too sweet, with a cotton ball texture if that imagery makes sense. Not sure I can pull this off in the outside world. It’s a little young and maybe a bit juvenile for someone my age, but it’s so pretty. It’s making my 5 year old inner princess super happy today 💗

Ok, This is LDBS toned down with a powdery facet. It’s a pink candy, baby-sweet, airy powder scent.. not “department store in 1997,” but fresh, cozy, pink cloud vibes. Light, feminine, and pretty without being cloying or overly gourmand. She’s giving Disney princess... but the one with boundaries. Sweet, happy, and has a personality. And the trail? Insane. Compliments will find you. This is my absolute favorite type of scent. She’s soft, she’s pretty, she’s unproblematic, and most importantly... she’s a girl’s girl. 💅

Really sad that this doesn't have that good of a rep in the fragrance community, to me this was a heavenly experience, the most delicious powdered marshmallow in the opening with a sweet but not too crazy dusty powder dry down. Also, super happy that this is working for me cos I have problems smelling certain marshmallow perfumes, I'm either anosmic or they turn sour, but for this one it is absolutely bomb dot com. I am in love, I really don't mind getting a full bottle of this after I finish my 10ml.

As soon as I smelled this it reminded me of Eaudemoiselle (the original) by Givenchy. They are different in texture but if you imagine the base scent of Eaudemoiselle mixed with a more modern fluffy style fragrance base (eg. Yum Boujee Marshmallow) then that is close to what you have here. I think it is lovely. It has the potential to make a good signature scent and the performance on me was excellent. I'd love to get a bottle but for now I think I'd better use up my Eaudemoiselle (plus backups).

this is such a lovely fragrance <3 just like the name, its powdery, sweet, flirty and girly. the opening is a light gardenia-orange blossom, almost baby powder-esque, then it fades into wisps of dreamy, light cotton candy and marshmallow. i will say it isn't a true gourmand if you're looking for something like YBM, but as someone who doesn't like florals very much, i actually LOVE this. its so light, fluffy, powdery sweet and feminine! blind buy safe, just get it already!!

Very pretty. It's very Pink Sugar, but I like this a lot more. It does have that car tyre smell that I thought the liquorice was giving Pink Sugar, but there's no liquorice in this one. Maybe it's the caramel? I don't love it, but it's toned down and a lot more bearable here. One spray in the crook of my elbow is enough to smell it in the air. Fluffy and marshmallowey, yet it still remains clean. I don't think it's for me, but I will enjoy my sample.

I absolutely love this perfume. It’s so beautiful and light, airy, sweet, and feminine. The sweetness of the cotton candy isn’t cloying but decadent, and the musk and powder elevate it into a scent that I think is perfect for a cute daytime outing or date night. If you love gourmands or Miami Shake (also by JHAG), you’ll probably love this one, too! I can’t get enough of it and want to get a full bottle once I finish the sample.

This is a lovely perfume! feminine, and not as sweet as one might expect from the notes, I got several compliments wearing it, it projects nicely,it isnt heady...I like that the powder isnt l;ike synthetic or baby wipes, it is nicely blended in with the musk and the orange blossom...this isnt a marshmallow scent, this is a warm soft oriental in my opinion not overdone...lovely !! one of the best JHAG creation recently.

This is what I wanted and dreamed of getting from Love Dont Be Shy. LDBS gave me a weird ick where it felt so thick and syrupy it was suffocating. This is the complete opposite. Grown, sugary, fluffy. The cotton candy is very very light, orange blossom stands out but without being cloying. I feel so pretty and feminine wearing it, like cottagecore vibes. If you do not like powder you will not like this! Luckily I do!

What a lovely fragrance, love at first sniff. Sweet, powdery, soft, cozy, calming, feminine and cute. Not sickening or suffocating and with good sillage and longevity. I bought a tester of it and my husband loved it so much that I got a full bottle for my birthday, and I have used it every day since. Reminds me of something from when I was younger, maybe a bit like la vie est belle but whiteout the patchouli.

A bit powdery and sweet, but not cloying fluffy marshmallow & cotton candy with a side of musk and undertones of orange blossom. All of the notes beautifully compliment each other. I had lower expectations for this, I thought it'd be too ambroxan forward and smell a little weird as a gourmand. Fortunately, I was mistaken. I will be purchasing a full bottle to wear on days I want something fun and feminine.

This is a love-at-first-sight fragrance for me. I normally don't love JHAG, but I tried this today and absolutely cannot get enough of it - it smells like being a young woman living by the beach and spending summers at the fairground and wearing Hollister and Abercrombie lol It's so smooth, powdery and just sweet enough, like powdered sugar on top of baked goods. I need a full bottle immediately...

this is PERFECT for morute girls. It smells super powdery kind of like baby powder and cotton candy (don’t get the marshmallow).It’s very nostalgic like your favourite doll you played with as a child that is cotton candy scented.Definitely gonna be my signature for a while because it’s so comforting and warm.Don’t get it if you hate powdery scents though!! ૮( ́ ꒳ `)ა

The name couldn't be more accurate! Powdery and sweet without being overwhelming; that's the dreammmm. This one lasts for hours on end and you really get that nice scent bubble for a decent amount of time as well. It's a less mature scent in my opinion, but I think that's what I love about it. I feel like a little girl again, trying on makeup for the first time:')

Blind bought after reading reveiws and having a sample of Miami Shake from that I could tell the perfumes are good. I went for this as I am just loving soft powdery musky scents at the moment and this is definitely that 🩷 not too juvenile. Not sure I will layer it. I think it's will be nice on its own when I want to smell soft sweet and feminine 🌸 🩷

This is exactly what I was looking for a powdery somewhat slightly cosmetic old-fashioned without being nauseating. I just love this. It’s very different from my favourite Kayali Boujee, it’s slightly vintagy but not old lady. I love this powdery sweet scent. It’s sophisticated powder and just sweet enough without being juvenile.

Love it.Smells like marshmallows and sugar almonds with a hint of orange blossom in the back (not as strong as LDBS/Oriana) way more bearable. When you first spray it it’s a bit musky and floral, but the dry down is sugary and powdery😍💗 Update: the very dry down is more musky floral/lipsticky with some sweetness.

It's just so wonderful, sweet and playful. Definitely one of my favourites of all time! I will have to say it's more of a winter scent. While being sweet, it gives off the vibes of a cold Valentine's Day date. But that's just my personal taste. You will need to reapply once a while; it does fade fairly quickly.

this is such an underrated perfume. It’s exactly what I was looking for, sweet but not too sweet. Like a warm cotton candy hug that doesn't make you nauseous 5 minutes in. Make this one rise like you did with yum boujee marshmallow (which is too sweet for my liking)💗

This is one of the best cotton candy fragrances besides cotton candy musk from gulf orchid. The only issue that I have is that the scent doesn’t last long my skin. After 1 hour it started to fade. I had my skin hydrated and it just faded. Very disappointed.

I am obsessed with this perfume. It wasn’t like this from the beginning. At first I found it faint and basic but in about 2 months or so it absolutely transformed into an orange blossom sweet powdery ad clean bomb! It s fantastic!

i absolutely love and adore this perfume! smells just like cotton candy and marshmallow with a hint of flowers and maybe strawberries.. bought a sample and probably will buy a full-sized one.. it is a bit overpriced though.

I LOOVVVEEE THIS!!!! So much comfort, it smells like powdered candy, that you get at your grandmas house, nostalgic, lovely and just wow. I never thought i would like it this much. Might be my new fall favorite.

This is the most beautiful marshmallow perfume I’ve tried so far. It is soft, powdery, not extremely sweet and slightly nostalgic. Average lasting power (around 3-4 hours on my skin). Perfect for autumn.

I absolutely cannot wait to get this one, and try it! I’m a really big fan of marshmallow and cotton Candy, orange blossom and almond too! so I’ll definitely be grabbing this as soon as it launches!

True to its name, it is a powdery fragrance. The real magic unfolds in the dry down, soft sweet and pretty. It layers perfectly with Burberry Her. Try it...thank me later ✨

Smells nostalgic to me. This one Reminds me of one of the Disney fragrances I had as a child, but I don’t remember which one.

Love it but the longevity and spillage is incredibly poor .... Really wish this wasn’t the case

Got a travel spray of this to try out. I'm not a fan of to much powder, but even though I find this powdery, it's not as powdery as I expected. It's as a reviewer below me said, a fruity cotton candy-ish at the top, with a fluffy feel. Could the almond also contribute to the fruity feel, as in almond extract smelling like cherries? Does anyone get the candied almonds as the notes say?😁 I find that I only get the top notes as a very short burst, and then it's gone, poof! I don't really get any prominent marsmallow but it could just be that the note reads as "fluffy" on my skin. Shortly after that, I get fluffy sweet orange blossom for a good while.I don't get any almond that I can smell (yet) but maybe that will change with time and some manceration. I don't really smell anything after the mid notes sadly, since I really wanted to smell the tonka and musk. This could be due to probably being anosmic to ambroxan. It might also be the reason why I find this scent very muted, except for the orange blossom part. But ny skin tends to amplify floral and spices over other notes, even though ambroxan makes everything smell muted and "like nothing" for me.. But my SO and other people have complemented me on it, saying that something smells good, sweet, fruity and fluffy. Two-three small sprays of this spread in my whole apartment apparently, but I didn't notice this myself. Got a comment that the apartment smelled nice one day after even so it seems to be stronger than you think. I will probably not buy a bottle, since it's a like, not a love, as well as being anosmic to it, but I will still enjoy my travel spray. 🥰
