Vanilla Vibes

Beachy, fresh, aquatic/marine, salty, refreshing, softly sweet, powdery, musky, woody, warm, feminine, sensual, chic, unique I did previously review this, but I wanted to post an updated one in hopes that I’m able to describe it better. On me this opens fresh and aquatic with a refreshing, salty marine scent. As it begins drying down the sensual vanilla absolute, and the powdery orchid come into play, nicely balancing out the fresh and salty marine scent. Further into the dry down it becomes more warm, musky, and woody with the warm and vanillac tonka bean, soft powdery musk, slightly sweet and woody sandalwood, and warm and cozy benzoin. Overall, it comes of as a beachy and aquatic vanilla scent that I thoroughly enjoy. I do think that the name “Vanilla Vibes” is a bit misleading. It made me think that it would be a more typical sweet vanilla scent instead of something that comes off more beachy and aquatic/marine. I’m definitely not complaining, but I am glad that when I had mentioned wanting to get Lust For Sun because I was looking for some beachy fragrances, a few people mentioned to me that I might enjoy Vanilla Vibes more because it was also a beachy scent. I ended up buying both of them (I couldn’t miss out on Lust For Sun since I really enjoy monoi oil scents), and was very happy when I received them because I really enjoy both of them very much. I’ve had them for almost 2 years, and I’m still not sure which one I like more. To me Vanilla Vibes feels feminine, and that it would work for women of any age. This feels best suited for the warmer months of spring and summer, but could be worn during the colder months to evoke feelings of the beach and summertime. I think this works well for most occasions including work, or school. However, I think you might want to consider another fragrance for a really fancy occasion. I think this is a great option for people who want a beachy fragrance, but without the white florals, citruses, or coconut, but that still evokes a beachy/summertime/vacation feeling. I do think this is a rather unique fragrance, but it does remind me somewhat of a couple other fragrances. I do see a similarity to Bobbi Brown Beach because they’re both aquatic/marine beachy scents, however Beach has a lot more of a Sun tan lotion like scent whereas I don’t really get that with this one. I’m also slightly reminded of Alien Goddess since I’ve always gotten a slightly aquatic/marine scent with that one too, but it’s more subtle. Goddess is also a lot more vanilla forward, has coconut and florals, and is more suited for year round wear even though I personally enjoy it most during the spring and summer. I get great performance with Vanilla Vibes. The longevity is very good, it lasts the majority of the day on me. The projection is decent, it radiates out at least a couple feet from me. Just for some reference, some of my other favorite beachy/coconut fragrances include Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, Yves Rocher, Monoi Eau des Vahines, Kilian Sunkissed Goddess, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, JHAG Lust For Sun, Bobbi Brown Beach, Kayali Maui in a Bottle, Kayali Maldives in a Bottle, SDJ Coco Cabana 39, B&BW Coco Paradise

Category: Vanilla, ozonic, woody Notes: Sprays on quite alcoholic, but soon a light and airy vanilla and refreshing orchid emerge. The orchid adds a cool, watery feel reminiscent of cucumber. I can't say I'm picking up an obvious salt note, but can see how the almost ozonic nature of this fragrance could be interpreted as the smell of saltwater. As this continues to develop the sensual and soft sandalwood takes more and more space until it practically dominates the scent, with just a few remnants of that orchid and vanilla keeping it fresh. The overall scent impression is a very light and clean ozonic vanilla. Vibe: Ocean breeze. Sunscreen. Cold beach day. Metal cigarette case. Gold candelabra. Sheer white curtains. Bar soap. Driftwood. White beach. Antlers. Coastal villa. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Sandcrabs. Lanterns. Sillage: 6.5/10. Very toned down, yet not a skin scent. Projection is mild, but very present when up close and personal. Longevity: 7/10. Lasts 6-8 hours on skin, which is quite decent in my opinion. It maintains a good sillage for the first 6 hours too in a way that is very impressive and for me indicative of a high quality fragrance. Wear: Daytime. Spring & summer due to its refreshing, beachy nature, but could totally work as an everyday/all year round wear. Definitely office wear approved; perfect sillage and wholly inoffensive. Somewhat unisex but with a marked feminine lean, meaning I could see this being worn by a man but not just any and every man, only those with an aura befitting of this kind of fragrance. Suitable for a large age range of 18-70, frankly I’d consider this an ageless and timeless kind of scent but perhaps just a tad too adult for tweens and early teenagers. Overall rating: 7.5/10. This is my second time trying this perfume on, the first being some two or three years ago before I had really started taking my interest in perfumes seriously. I remember finding it challenging and slightly off-putting in a way I wouldn't have been able to vocalize then. Wearing it today, with a wealth of references under my belt, I can confidently say this is a wonderful and unique vanilla fragrance that my untrained nose just wasn't ready for the first time around. Light, airy, ozonic with a mild marine touch, to me it evokes the ocean breeze more than the ocean itself. The vanilla adds warmth without ever feeling heavy, and alongside the sandalwood in the base creates a creamy yet sparkling combination reminiscent of coconut (the milk and the water) and sun lotion. This is in my book a quintessential beach fragrance, although it feels more like the cool beaches of say the Irish coast or the south of Sweden where the sandy dunes meet saltwater, cloudy skies, crisp ocean air and driftwood, rather than a hot, sunny beach in a more tropical climate. I would love to add this to my collection as a lighter option for summer that still feels put-together with a more adult undercurrent than some of the fruitier options on the market, but could also totally see myself wearing this as an everyday scent. Who would wear it?: Francesca Johnson in Bridges of Madison County (1995).

Such a lovely and pretty perfume. The salty note at the beginning, mixed with the vanilla and the fantasy orchid note... adorable. It might not be for people not used to mineral notes or for those expecting a gourmand perfume. Be aware of this. The vanilla is balanced, not strong. I understand people saying it smells like sunscreen but for me it does not, it smells like a flowery vanilla wich might be what most people is referring to which later, combined with the tonka bean and benzoin bring a slight creamy feeling to the vanilla note that last longer on my skin. This perfume in my skin feels ethereal and later becomes an skin scent. If you are a fan of beastmode perfumes, this I do not recommend since will not perform like that by it's own. I found it to be one of my favorite fragrances since it transported me back to the sunny beaches of Aruba, sitting in the water, feeling the salty breeze on my face and drinking a cocktail under the shade of the mangroves close to Spans Lagoon.

My favorite summer scent, it instantly transports me to the seaside! Photorealistic to a T, smells exactly like the moment I step into the sea after putting on my favorite sunscreen. For that alone I would laud it to high heavens, but it’s also gotten me plenty of compliments (two friends have already purchased Vanilla Vibes after smelling it on me!), and I’m certainly not above that ego boost either. I must say that I absolutely love salt notes in perfumes and I’m not the biggest fan of sweet and gourmand fragrances and this one hits the spot for me, so do with that info what you will. It does lean more vanilla-y and powdery on me, but I can still smell the salt up until the very last of the dry-down, so that’s great. My friends call it my “vanilla perfume”, though, so I think it’s a perfume which smells quite different to different people, and that interesting aspect is another plus for me. Overall, an utterly charming little concoction.

literally the best thing i've ever smelt my entire life. delicious. it smells like a mixture of peach and sunscreen in the best way possible. i could never imagine a sunscreen smell being as addictive as this one. vanilla in middle note is just top notch. now, im not the best at depicting a scenery such as "this feels like the fear and excitement bella felt just before she went to the woods with edward, with a hint of fresh apple that she just ate at lunch. she's ready to climb to the top of the mountain on edwards back" like your average fragrantica user. but if you want a moodboard/scenery, this perfume gives off zara larsson - midnight sun vibes. it will definitely turn heads and make people look at you. a summer fragrance for sure but it fits for late spring too i guess. suitable for work. i'm sooo in love

I would wear this anytime anywhere. The orchid gives it a clean linen scent, the sandlewood hugs it close and any whiff of it is like salted vanilla cookie that was sprayed with Hawaiian Tropic sun tan oil, so not quite edible or gourmand, but it's in there somewhere. I didnt quite know what salt exactly smells like but the dry down on this reminds me of salting an icy sidewalk and the fine powdered salt gets in your nose. People mention the salt smelling like rubber or plastic, I kinda get it if I focus on smelling that but overall it is a wonderful unique smell that floats around the other notes. Any nice guy could wear this easy going, non-aggressive, and fun little beach scent. Where I live winter is a long horrible season so a blast of the "Vibes" transports me to a happier place.

Vanilla vibes.. the first time I smelled this was on someone I know. The sillage was so incredibly beautiful that I couldn't resist to ask the name of the perfume. Throughout the evening, whenever I would get whiffs of this perfume, my mood would instantly go up, making me feel relaxed and at peace. It was a very hot day, yet this sweet perfume didn't feel overpowering or suffocating at all. This perfume is incredibly elegant, chic and "soft". Is it simple? Maybe. It does not change much throughout the wear, but I don't mind it. There's definitely something mysterious about this scent, while being very pleasant. Musky, powdery, coconutty, slightly salty vanilla... Soooo incredibly good, this is now my favourite perfume 💕 I really just want to smell it 24/7

Testing this as a decant splash. This opens light and airy, with a perfect balance of delicate orchid, a touch of sweetness, and creamy vanilla. It feels cozy and beautiful in a soft, solar way — warm without being heavy, bright without being sharp. The sandalwood grounds everything, giving it a smooth, calming depth that keeps the sweetness from drifting too far. I can definitely smell the salt here, and it adds the loveliest feminine, beachy vibe, like sun-warmed skin after a gentle ocean breeze. As it settles, it melts into a soft skin scent with the slightest powdery note, still warm and comforting but more intimate and close. A straightforward, soothing fragrance that feels effortlessly pretty. I’m absolutely in love.

This is one of the most intoxicating fragrance profiles I’ve ever smelled. The salt note is both clean and sweaty at the same time; like a dip in the ocean on a scorching day, or the way you feel after treatment at a spa on the waterfront. It’s strangely both simple and complex; the primary note really is just plaid old salt, but the more time you spend with it the more you notice the vanilla, and very faintly the orchid. It opens with a slightly screechy alcohol note but that does settle after 5 minutes. This is an elevated skin-scent, suitable for wearing to the office in warm weather or when you want to smell nice without really smelling like fragrance. This is almost identical to Ellis Brooklyn’s Salt.

Finally the right vanilla! I have tried sooo many straight vanilla scents, from fugazzi to 7 virtues to snif the list goes on. They’re all either too synthetic or heavy/woody for me. But this one is a perfect balance of salt and vanilla with a hint of that Tonka bean and very light airy musk. It feels like the perfect summer time skin scent! It has this really alluring pheromone esk almost animalic quality to it (that’s sweet and light) but in the best way possible. My husband can’t stand musk notes in perfume and he really enjoyed this one on me. Sun kissed warm skin. So addictive! I just might need a full bottle of this one

I finally have this perfume in my hands! After trying a sample, I immediately knew I needed it: I completely fell in love with its scent. It's an exquisite blend of salty vanilla with a subtle floral and sweet touch, achieving a perfect balance. It has that summery feel I love so much, without falling into the typical sunscreen smell. It's fresh, warm, and addictive all at once. But what really surprised me was its longevity and projection: impressive! Even after showering and applying body lotion, I can still perceive its scent on my skin. An olfactory gem that's totally worth the price.

When I first sprayed it, I thought this was a bit eggy. Overtime, I didn't smell the egginess at all. It opened up to be more salty and aquatic mixed in with vanilla. The vibe is a sponge cake being enjoyed at the beach. Man, I wish I was at a beach right now! Sillage and projection is moderate. Usually for a mid -range price, I would have wanted an improved performance but I don't think this perfume needs to be loud or beastmode. It's strong enough as is, and honestly very comfortable to wear. I have a 50 mL bottle..... definitely looking forward to buying the 100 mL one!

Picked this up in a shop during my vacation by the beach, and it’s the perfect summer vibe. I love a good vanilla fragrance, and I love that salty/marine note (very nostalgic for me as someone that grew up visiting beach towns every summer). The fragrance opens with that sea salt, summer breeze, clean, shower after the beach vibe and settles into a nice vanilla after a couple of hours. I have been wearing this along with my EOS Vanilla Cashmere body lotion and have gotten many compliments while away! I love this stuff and I’m so happy I picked up a bottle. Obsessed!

YUMMMMM! Out of all the fragrances I've smelled, this one smells the most like ice cream to me. Vanilla Vibes smells exactly like a vanilla bean ice cream cone (waffle cone included) on the beach. I don't get the beachiness nearly as much as I get the vanilla. This is gourmand asf, I absolutely need a large bottle of this!!! It's very light as well which is appreciated. This scent could easily become overpowering but it sits in perfect equilibrium. I'm so obsessed and so grateful to have found such a unique vanilla scent!!

i dislike the beach and in general i dislike beachy scents but my god this is the best one i’ve tried! the vanilla is so perfect here. it smells like actual vanilla pods to my nose. the salty note is so beautiful as well. i quite literally feel like my toes are in the sand while wearing this. i love that it’s well balanced by other notes. it’s such a warm fragrance. i will be using my travel size up and upgrading to a full bottle next summer!

i revisited this perfume recently after years of not smelling it though it used to be my signature scent a few years back. this is such a beautiful airy scent. it's a slightly salty vanilla with a subtle floral touch from the orchid, which then dries down to a beautiful "your skin but better" scent. it's clean, it's airy it's ethereal and really lifts up my mood whenever i smell it.

Smells like you just took the best shower of your life with some luxurious vanilla scented products after a long day at the beach. The salt note in the opening reminds me a lot of glossier you fleur. It then transitions into a soft, almost soapy vanilla. It’s not that sweet, more on the clean and fresh side to me. I will forever love this scent, it’s exactly my style.

Beautiful salty sweet floral vanilla. There something milky and similar to coconut, although it’s not listed. Maybe the Tonka with the orchid? There’s also something nutty. This is well blended, it’s a versatile vanilla that is a great base for layering. I do think for JHAG, it’s a bit simple, but I really enjoy this. It’s an easy reach in warmer months.

I don’t get why this has so many dislikes. Is it groundbreaking avant garde? No. Does it smell really good? Yes. Reminds me of Tom Ford Soleil Blanc but a bit more aquatic and a bit more woody. Has that suntan lotion by the pool vibe. Summery, wearable, nostalgic. I get mostly suntan lotion with vanilla, salt, and a subtle sandalwood. I like it a lot.

How is it that there is no coconut in this? I get coconut sun tan lotion with that hint of salt and lovely vanilla, to be more accurate it's almost identical to Malibu suntan lotion. It's really nice and perfect for summer for sure, it's not unique in any way but still fresh and cozy at the same time, and I just got a full bottle 😋

I tried this and it’s really nice, but more of a “vibe” than a specific scent. People seem to pick up “beach notes” and something aquatic, it does radiate a bit more than arms length, but it’s not a strong or overpowering scent. Perfect for summer, but I’m not sure if I’ll pick up a bottle yet (I got a 7.5 ml)

It opens with a fresh salty accord. The salty note makes the fragrance airy and light, while the base remains warm and creamy. What I love is how it works perfectly in both hot and cold weather. In the heat, it feels refreshing, while in the cold, it wraps you in a cozy warmth without becoming cloying.

Was expecting this to be overpowering vanilla and very sweet but it’s soo beach and summery I love it! Smells like you’ve hopped out of the sea and you can smell the remnants of sunscreen dry in the midday sun. A very salty aquatic vanilla - lovely summer scent

Summer in a bottle! Reminds me of being at the beach! Very salty, more salt than vanilla but I get the vanilla in the dry down! This will be my go to summer fragrance! It’s a fun, easy wear. Love wearing this while out on the lake

Love at first wear!!! I bought a travel size and within 10 minutes of wearing it I knew it was full bottle worthy! I highly recommend getting a travel size and putting it on skin in the heat. Just beautiful beach vibes

This is a delicate summer scent. I feel the sun rays hitting my skin, the saltiness of the sea, and the wonderful creamy vanilla in it all. So far, the only perfume that can teleport me to another place - the beach.

Deliciously salty, nostalgic, makes me feel warm in my chest like I just took a sip of something yummy. Smells like being wrapped in a sandy towel after being at the beach all day, feeling sleepy, warm and happy.

So salty, so sweet, so citrusy - even fizzy. I am in love with this. It's definitely not a typical gourmand. It's much more dimensional & textured if that makes sense. It truly is a beautiful scent. 9/10

Reminiscent of fresh ice cream and evaporating chlorine off suntan lotioned wet skin and salty sea air. This is the scent of my holidays as a child on the coast of Brittany, France in summer. I love it.

so lovely and delicate but makes itself known. Also, maybe unpopular opinion but I think this perfume is better in the fall and winter, it adds a sweetness to the air when its most needed.

One of the only JHAG scents that I actually like. I got a sample a long time ago and fell in love. It projects very well and lasts pretty long on me.

It's giving beach 1000% Mine expired unfortunately so now I have sharp alcohol mixed with the original scent :(

As I opened the JHAG discovery set, I maybe should’ve looked at the notes before I picked this sample. The little sample tubes are all clear glass so it didn’t give anything away, which I’ve since learnt is apparent in the bottle design. This is a holiday perfume, and is at odds with the winter wonderland of snow that I’m currently looking at, out my window. I was expecting a warm, cozy vanilla. Whoopsies! Vanilla Vibes opens as an aquatic floral vanilla, pure sunscreen and beach vibes. My brain tells me there’s warm, slightly sweet coconut in this perfume, yet it’s not listed as a note? Such is the olfactory memory connection to the scent profile of sitting at a pool in the sunshine and heat. Or there’s a floral coconut aspect to the orchid absolute used in this perfume. Either way, this is an ozonic, tropical vanilla. There’s a nice saltiness to it that you can almost taste on your tongue. However as it moves to the heart, the ozonic aspect becomes synthetic and my nose picks this up and won’t ignore it, it starts to lean a little plastic. I planned a walk in the snow this morning, so off I went, bundled up in boots, warm coat, wool scarf, warm gloves... and smelling like a beach babe. I sprayed a little again on my scarf so I could continue to whiff this and gather my thoughts on my walk. In the -1 degrees cold, the floral ozonic notes screech at my nostrils and I’m looking forward to getting home and showering this off. Winter ambiance fail! However, when I get home I think I might’ve judge this perfume too quickly. A nice cup of tea, before I shower, to warm me up and in the heat of my house, and as my skin warms up, the screechy, plastic synthetic dissipates and the vanilla, tonka and sandalwood start to make an appearance. It still has the sunscreen vibe but with a dry salty, floral, vanilla woodiness to it. The JHAG synthetic musk DNA is there in the dry down. The benzoin is a little strong for me, but I imagine those who jam with vanilla forwards will enjoy this. I don’t hate it, but I don’t particularly like it either. However, I do feel that this deserves another wear in the summer, to see how it performs in the sunshine and heat and when I’m in a psychological space for sun, sea and sand rather than crisp winter walks, wool and hot chocolate?

For reference: I’m a woman in her late 40’s, and I got this as a sample size. Opens with a strong sea salt note, vanilla, and sandalwood. Slowly fades into vanilla, wood, and light florals, with salty undertones and musk. Lastly, the salty tone lightens, and it’s a soft vanilla, sandalwood, and musk. The floral notes become more noticeable, but more so on clothing than skin. Stays close to wearer. Lightens fairly quickly, but lasts on skin and clothes for hours, or overnight (if you spray at bedtime). This perfume is not a gourmand vanilla. It is very much a marine scent, with a vanilla, floral, and sandalwood addition. Unisex, but leans masculine. I don’t hate this, but it’s not sweet, creamy, or feminine enough for my taste. The sea salt smell is just too overbearing on my skin for most of the duration to make it worth it for me. Update: Tried this again during the peak of summer in humid Florida. This is where this scent shines, on sun-warmed skin. It’s perfect for hot, humid days when you want something light and beachy.

I just tried this and I must say it's nicely done. Upon immediate application I get a tropical beach vibe which I loved, but minutes into the wearing the salty aquatic nature of the scent becomes center stage for me (Since I am not a fan of aquatic fragrances), but still remains very pleasant and easy to wear. Through the entire wearing of Vanilla Vibes the spicy vanilla and smoothness of the sandalwood are noticeable. On my skin the Vanilla actually play different rolls within the scents life. In my opinion after a few hours when the aquatic nature dies down the vanilla shines the most. This is a new fresh take on a Vanilla scent. I feel this can be worn all year round, but I would probably wear it mostly in the intermediate months. Vanilla Vibes does lean on the feminine side, but IMHO it is unisex through and through. I don't mind when scents tip toe around the gender line and I will gladly be sharing this with my wife.

As I work with small kids I rarely wear perfume, but I could not resist this! I got a 7,5ml size of this a week ago and have used it twice. It lasts long on my skin, I can still smell it faintly 24+ h after application (I use 1-2 sprays) It has a slightly fruity and salty smell on my skin, paired with a hint of vanilla. I grew up on an Island on the west coast of Sweden and this reminds me of days spent at the beach, catching shore crabs and eating fruit in the sun. It's a lovely, summer scent and I'll probably use it a lot during my time off. My husband who's usually very sensitive to smells haven't said (complained) anything about it, that's another thing I like about it. It wouldn't be fair of me to say anything about the sillage, as I use so little when I use it. But I actually prefer my perfume to stay close to me, like a little secret only those closest to med get to know ;)

Salt and vanilla, but not in the way you expect. No tropical caramelized gourmand excess, no sun-drenched, typical coconut sun-screen fantasy—just sea breeze, salted and airy, sweeping over bare skin, warmed by something almost like sunshine. There’s vanillin here, smooth and creamy, but it never turns heavy. Instead, it clings like seafoam on warm sand, weightless yet present at all times. Spray too close to the nose and this can be thick, dense, almost too much, the salt sharpening in swells rather than cooling. Make sure to smell from a distance—because god can it be hypnotic, each passing minute offering another flicker of its salted-sweet duality—a rejuvenating salt spa starring soothing driftwood, dreamy vanilla, intimate touches of benzoin. A scent that lingers like memory, like skin kissed by ocean air, like warmth that never fades.

If I had to describe the exact smell of fresh, clean skin right after a shower after spending a whole day at the beach, this would be it. I'm a hardcore vanilla girl, but let's be real - sometimes during peak summer heat, heavy and overly sweet vanillas can just be way too much. That’s where this beauty comes in. It’s a mix of salt, vanilla, and benzoin that feels incredibly airy and effortless. I know the prominent salt note isn't for everyone, which probably explains the lower ratings on Fragrantica, but if you love that marine, sun-kissed vibe, it's just perfect. Honestly, for a summer-appropriate vanilla, the performance holds up really well, and it instantly puts me in a vacation mood. Plus, scoring a 100ml bottle for under 40 euros was an absolute steal. It’s an easy, carefree summer staple for me, hands down.

This smells exactly like the beach, sandy and almost a bit lotion-y(in a good way!!!) Do not expect a deep vanilla. The most prominent notes I pick up are mainly the salt(present all the way, even at the dry down), with a soft and clean vanilla background, the musk is also very present. Do NOT pick up the sandalwood. Orchid and benzoin have the occasional linger. I love perfumes with such background, to me this is the more wearable version of Beach Walk by Maison(both beautiful, I just see Beach walk as more of a room spray/ candle scent). Not a safe blind buy, unless you like this scent profile and are familiar with the soapy-ish JHG DNA. One thing I don't agree with the comments is the longevity. It stays on my skin for around 6-8 hours, however there is not much projection going on.

I didn't expect to like this fragrance because I'm not a vanilla lover. However, vanilla is only a background actor here. The salt balances out the sweet. Upon spraying, I was instantly reminded of past vacations in Hawaii. A floral lei macerating against warm, humid skin along with a slather of suntan lotion melting with salty sweat. Also, the mineralic air breezing in off the surf. The woods initially express themselves more fresh green like a tropical grove of trees and vines nearby and stems and leaves left on buds. As the juice warms up, I get more aged driftwood and sea kelp warming on the beach. Perhaps wet stones covered in moss. I find Vanilla Vibes to be quite complex, special and would definitely wear in on a summer vacation.

Vanilla Vibes is a rare summer-appropriate vanilla that steers clear of cupcake sweetness or the typical sunscreen cliché. I like this fragrance. It is the faint smell of suntan oil that’s left on your skin after getting out of the ocean. Beachy, salty, & vanilla musk. I can still smell the ocean in my hair. This is lovely. I’m perplexed by the negative reviews but I assume that they are from people who expected vanilla but do not like a beach leaning scent. In my opinion it’s an easy summer reach. It nods to the beach without the stereotypical coconut and white floral. (Which i also love but know isn’t for everyone) UPDATE: This is a less sweet and creamy Ellis Brooklynn vanilla salt. I like both but I do think I prefer the Ellis Brooklynn take on this.

This fragrance truly smells like a sunny summer day. It feels as if you're walking along the beach, with the scent of the sea mingling with sunscreen and ice cream in the warm air. Even though coconut isn't listed in the notes, I can definitely detect a hint of it. That said, there's one thing missing that would make it perfect. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it lacks a certain kick or spark that would make it really stand out. I’m also disappointed by the longevity, as it fades much sooner than I’d like. Still, it's a beautiful and very evocative summer scent. I will try to layer it, maybe i can get the kick I'm missing.

Vanilla Vibes is exactly what the name says - a warm summery scent I would definitely expect while hanging out with friends at the beach until the sun starts to set. I like that it's not TOO sweet of vanilla, and I think we can thank the salt for that, but DAMN I wish the saltiness was stronger. I enjoy the cozy sultry dry down but it's missing that last little bit of salt bite for me. I actually find it smells better on me towards the end of a hot, sweaty day when my own "salt" can mix in a bit - is that crazy?! LOL - once I hit that point I find it to be a sexier hot summer night scent!
