Boozy spicy chocolate vanilla gourmand , dried down spicy though I really love this brand 😍

What a fragrance...and a huge sexy scent trail....masterpiece 10/10

Delicious, boozy , sexy, longlasting

Reviewing a sample from 2025. Sugar Rum was launched in 2023. Sweet musky vanilla fragrance not really woody or spicy as described. Lovely orange rum opening - not too boozy. This is followed by sweet nicely spiced vanilla supported by mild cedar and musk.There are subtle undertones of coconut and florals (? Ylang-ylang ) although not listed. The patchouli and cocoa are barely there. Personally I would like more patchouli and no caramel accord - some other reviewers wish it was sweeter. This is why there are so many fragrances for us to choose from as we all have different tastes. Quality- very good Unisex Performance- very good (this is extrait de parfum) Perfect gourmand vanilla rum scent for a hot tropical evening. 7/10

Smells like Mjuk Pepparkaka, Nordic Gingerbread cake! OK so it's more than that, but that's a quick take. Opens warm and fuzzy, with a clove like spiciness layered across alcohol soaked dark fruits (plums) and yes, maybe a touch of orange peel too. As this dries down, there's a mellowing, a little vanilla caramel sweetness, combining with something grounding the base, probably the patchouli. It's very 'Christmas' to me, but honestly I don't directly get the 'Rum' in the title, nor is it 'Sugar' sweet. But! It will be a great Autumn / Winter frag... Like wearing the softest cashmere jumper as a defence against the cold. Sugar Rum radiates warmth. Good longevity too.

My second full size perfume from Jupilo. Accord of patchouli+orange+vanilla is the same as in Midnight poison. They are not siblings but definitely the same family. Sugar rum is drier and quieter, leans masculine but has the same sexy vibe. All the perfumes from Jupilo I have tried are of a very good quality.

This is very nice for it's scent profile. Unfortunately, too sweet for my taste. ☺️

I get a lot of patchouli on my skin unfortunately. It ruined the rum caramel sweetness.

This is almost identical to Maiora’s Ali Baba, which is made in homage to a Napolitano dessert called “Baba Al Rhum.” The dessert is a cake soaked in rum with orange citrus additions. When topped with mascarpone (cream) it’s a sweet boozy delight. With the addition of cardamom, this takes me to a Summer trip to Naples in a cafe, enjoying Baba al Rhum. I have the Maiora version too and will layer the two. No need for both unless you are a collector. I would say this is nice to wear in the winter but believe it will be a special treat in the Summer as the heavy dose of rum evaporates and the musc makes the fragrance more translucent, thus adaptable to warmer weather. I also like Tanzanite Magenta in the hot Summer though so there’s that 🤷🏾♀️

There is a lot going on here. I am experiencing all the notes at once. It also smells differently projected vs up close. Give it a shot. Each time I smell it there are subtle changes that I am unable to articulate. I think I am smelling cola as in shades of Tonka Cola and I am getting shades of Jorum Spiritcask. This is boozy but not overly so. Well balanced no notes dominate

Coriander, Cardamom, rum, patchouli and woody notes, a little bit of vanilla. It's ok, if you like spicy fragrances, that would be right up your alley. For me it's a pass - I prefer sweeter and more gourmand leaning.
