Okay this fragrance took some time to fall in love with but now I’m almost concerned about the growing dent in my bottle lol. I’m usually a gourmand girly but I do like boozy scents so I figured this one would be a bit out of my lane but because if the boozy quality still something I’d like and at first.. omg the booze was overwhelming because all I could smell was authentic rum and it reminded me of a bad night with captain Morgan which made me queasy but after some time the notes of this fresh rose and juicy peach began to really come through and that’s when I began to fall in love. Within two weeks the fragrance became this fruity fresh rose with sexy booze tones lingering in the background giving it this edge. I’ve never smelled something so fruity and fresh be this boozy. The whole presentation that you get from Jusbox is a luxury experience from the design to the juice inside their fragrances. And I will say it now I know there’s a debate about best atomizers in the game and some think goldfield and banks has a good one which I do have silky woods and it’s nice but out of my entire collection no atomizer compares to Jusbox. They really nailed it it’s just so smooth and sprays out such a large blast of fine mist. It’s perfection just like the rest of the bottle. I wouldn’t recommend sampling this fragrance in a tiny decant because with how fragrances change over time I think tiny samples don’t do ANY fragrance justice because you’re not allowing yourself to experience the full scent story. Anything below a 5ml is pointless. 5ml is still small but doable. I suggest 8ml for samples or 10. Lune feline is a sample I hated but by the end of its use I actually found the beauty in the warm winter time fragrance.

Sirens & Sailors was a pleasant surprise. On the initial spray, I noticed the suede immediately, along with some patchouli that made me nervous. At first, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. However, after spending more time with it, the fragrance transformed into something much more beautiful. As it developed on my skin, the suede stepped back and a rich boozy rose jam accord emerged. The combination of peach, osmanthus, rose, and the liquor notes created the impression of rose preserves or a sweet fruit liqueur rather than a traditional rose perfume. The sweetness felt mature and sophisticated rather than sugary or juvenile. What impressed me most was how well blended the fragrance was. No single note dominated the composition, and it never became sharp, screechy, or headache-inducing. The patchouli remained in the background, adding depth without turning the fragrance dirty. My only disappointment was the suede. I was hoping for a more prominent suede fragrance, but after the opening it became difficult for me to detect as an individual note. It seemed to melt into the overall atmosphere rather than remain a distinct feature of the scent. Performance was moderate in my testing. One light spray on my inner elbow lasted only a few hours, though the fragrance felt much more satisfying when sprayed on my chest. Projection was not overwhelming and the scent stayed relatively close to the body. Overall, Sirens & Sailors turned out to be a beautiful boozy rose jam fragrance with a soft, feminine, grown-up character. While it didn’t satisfy my search for the perfect suede perfume, it was one of the more enjoyable fragrances I’ve tested recently and has earned a place on my wishlist.

This may be more femme to some, but I absolutely love the scent. The fruity rose opening is pretty loud that softens to a cloud on the skin. I would say the fruity rose lasts through the mid that seamlessly enhances with a boozy rum/Cognac accord that makes it naughty/sexy. The mid point makes it a bit more unisex in my opinion with the boozy accords. Although fruity, the boozy accords make it more dirty and inherently masculine in my eyes. The dry down still retains a floral sweetness but turned down, and mostly taken over by a vanilla musky cloud of sex. I believe the suede is just adding a bit of of that sexy touch that I find so seductive such as Amy Winehouse's smoky voice/demeanor. I believe this may be a bit overpriced but it lasts all day on skin with many provocative transitions on the skin to make it more interesting. The presentation has a nice aesthetic and I feel this scent is a perfect representation of Amy Winehouse soul/seductive music with a touch of sexy/dirty glamour. Overall a sexy scent, great for Spring and fall. but could be pulled off any time of year. I feel this is a type of scent that will smell different on each persons skin depending on chemistry and will overall smell different depending on season as well. RIP AMY WINEHOUSE, I loved your music and you will be missed.

After I read the rather unimpressed reviews for this fragrance, I was positively surprised by how good it smells. Guess I'm lucky to perceive it quite differently from the other reviewers! I generally don't like to put fragrances into specific age groups, but if I try to think of a typical teen scent or fragrances marketed to children, this is really not what comes to my mind. Not at all. Neither do I smell huge similarities to Mancera Roses Vanilla. I would categorize Siren & Sailors roughly into the same group as many intense/elixir/night versions of feminine designer perfumes, which is a good thing to me. The loudest notes are juicy peaches and bright pink roses drenched in syrup, but there's more to it. I really get the boozy whiskey and rum notes in the opening and the suede in the base. They give the fragrance substance while also being softened by the rose and peach, a dark vanilla, a little patchouli and balsamic notes. This is a sweet and feminine fragrance, but with some spiciness and warmth. Cozy and sexy at once. It makes me think of a sunset color scheme of pinks, red and oranges. I think this deserves more praise and I would recommend it to anyone who likes gourmandish roses. It might not be groundbreaking, but very, very well-done, smoothly blended and with a nice twist to it.

Fragrance dedicated to the iconic figure of Amy Winehouse. About her hypnotic voice, a gift from her, her sweet and tormented personality, which will mark her throughout her short life. An opening where I immediately feel the Rose, flanked by fruit and therefore sweet, very pleasant. Her boozy and slightly leathery notes then give her that hidden aspect of Amy's personality, which she suffered so much. A fragrance that I really like and ended up on my wishlist, truly wonderful, beautiful and delicate like a rose, but surrounded by thorns. I want to quote the words of one of the most beautiful songs in my opinion by this artist, "Stronger than me", with a heart full of gratitude for having given us, even if for a short time, the beauty of her voice and her music. “You should be stronger than me You have been here seven years longer than me Don't you know? You were supposed to be the man Not pale in comparison to who you think I am You always wanna talk it through I don't care I always have to comfort you when I'm there You should be stronger than me But that's what I need you to do Stroke my hair”
