Spring Dance

Spring Dance captures beautifully the essence of the season! Such a fresh, zesty, zingy, sweet white floral scent with a more green, aromatic opening! This is everything that I want in a floral fragrance! To my nose, it has two distinct phases: a citrusy, zesty, aromatic opening with a smooth mix of grapefruit and rosemary and a second phase where the honeysuckle and jasmine are taking front stage and run the show. This scent evokes exquisitely the natural smell of honeysuckle flowers. I had the pleasure of smelling countless times honeysuckle flowers in full bloom during my trips to Greece and South of Italy and I feel that Spring Dance embodies the essence of this gorgeous flower perfectly! A warm, amber, vanilla combination creates the perfect base for the white flowers to shine bright. No joke, Spring Dance has phenomenal bridal scent potential! It’s so beautiful, feminine, elegant, pretty, elevated smelling that I would consider this for my wedding day, if I were to do it again! Wow, wow, wow! This scent is as beautiful as the music that inspired it is, Antonio Vivaldi’s Spring! I want Spring Dance in my collection!

Really lovely fresh, green, watery white floral scent. It’s jasmine dominant; I swear I can smell gardenia too, although it’s not listed. There’s a green note in the opening that smells a bit like flower stems and a slight citrus twist. It’s not groundbreaking but if you like fresh aquatic florals it’s a winner.

As someone else mentioned, this is a Neroli bomb, but why isn't it listed? If you are into strong florals, this has amazing high quality. Of course, D. Ropion is a highly gifted perfumer. I'm really loving this house's offerings. ✨️

Out of my over 200 perfumes this is the one that gets most compliments, That said, this is a pretty fresh clean honeysuckle jasmine. Great projection for the first 2-3 hours, no need to over spray

The opening is very strong with the rosemary but it mellows out into a very soapy jasmine. I can see why someone else said neroli. This just feels like something grandma would wear. As I keep sniffing it also reminds me of fruit loops, that artificial slight lemony sweetness. So, fruit loops with grandma’s garden variety floral soap. Update: further down the line the soapiness really mellows and it’s a strong photorealistic honeysuckle. Quite nice, actually, and interesting journey it took to get here. Will have to test again another day.

I have no quarrel with this fragrance—it is a nice polite and clean white floral. It has none of the things I hate in florals. It’s not waxy or sickly sweet or overpowering. So I’ll wear my sample but I wouldn’t buy because it’s very short lived on me—have to spray about every hour. Also, a similar scent that I adore is totally white by Parle Mois. I would always choose that one over this. Sorry Dominic.

Another floral musk unlike others from this house. This one is a bit overtly green and imbalanced with a muffled neroli accord. Actually pleasant. There is a grapefruit note that fades into obscurity shortly after the opening. Overall borderline meh but 🙂 for the pleasantry.

Got a sample of Spring Dance. First spray it smells like your typical cologne, big in Neroli (which I love, and which is not listed on the notes). Then as it settles the jasmine becomes more prominent. Very light, very fresh, very safe, great for summer.

This is lovely. green opening (flower stems), delicate musky white floral mid with a dry down somewhat reminiscent of smarties (USA) or rockets (Canada). It is an elegant, ageless, elevated office friendly scent.

Opening is pure jasmine Then aromatic rosemary emerges along with some slightly bitter tangyness of the grapefruit, givihg it almost soapy qualities Despite being heavy on white florals id say it leans slightly masculine Is fresh, a bit aromatic, with very subtle bubblegum accord (from tuberose) Does kind of of remind of a chewing gum scent

This just smells like neroli to me. I don't detect any rosemary or a strong citrus from the grapefruit like I was expecting. It smells nice, just not something I'd purchase. I think the Acqua Neroli Clean smells pretty similar, and I think it's a more approachable price point.

This smells like you’re standing in an overgrown garden and the weeds are taking over. They’re taller than you and their juice is leaking out of the stems. Everything is green and lush and it’s hot outside. The bugs are out in full force. You’re standing there and for some reason you’re biting into a grapefruit. You have no idea how you got here. Sharp, green, critic. Smells like nature in the summer. Doesn’t project for very long and dries to a soft, musky jasmine. Not my speed...

This fragrance is gaslighting me - I smell only orange blossom/neroli and (synthetic, cleaner) lime, yet neither are listed. If you like orange blossom, this might be for you. As for me, I absolutely hate this, sorry!

A fresh, crisp, green jasmine scent. The opening is reminiscent of a cologne with the citrus being prominent and then I get a lot of jasmine. (Not indolic and heavy but freshly cut - covered in morning dew). Once it’s been on the skin for 20 mins it sweetens slightly and I smell neroli (aware it’s not listed as an ingredient). It then settles much along the lines of other colognes as already mentioned below. (Think a jasmine infused neroli portofino). Projection was arms length for about an hour and then close for about 4 hours). It’s a pleasant, fresh, clean scent - light white floral - unisex - nothing ground breaking - enjoyable none the less.

With Jusbox we talk about music. But now I ask a question: what is the most beautiful music there can be? The one that enchants anyone, regardless of taste? Obviously the sound of nature: the rustling of leaves, the singing of birds, the sound of rain. And here, with green, aromatic notes (including rosemary, which I adore), combined with white flowers that I would define as slightly acidic, freshly bloomed, we want to celebrate this splendor. Because yes, as I often say, the best pleasures in life are free.

JUSBOX *Spring Dance* and *Beat Cafe* are among the very first perfumes I bought when I discovered the niche fragrances universe in 2022. Both were created by Dominique Ropion (Claire Liégent is listed on Fragrantica which I believe is an error) and they couldn't be more different. *Spring Dance* feels like Springtime* ~ *Beat Cafe* feels like Fall. After four years and (literally) hundreds of perfumes, both remain as two of my most favorite. Beautiful fragrances.....among JUSBOX's very best.

JASMINE AND LIME BABY OH YEAH. to me this is photorealistic jasmine. smells like when you take the flower between your fingers and squish down, and it squirts out a bit of that like, flower juice which smells like a slightly greener version of the flower itself. Smells like moments in the spring in my childhood backyard.

The resemblance to the above examples are only in the opening; this one is very heavy on honeysuckle and jasmine; actually, that's all I get, and some clean musc in the base. Very natural smelling, but also very(VERY) simplistic. I think Ropion has made it in less than one minute lol Slightly feminine leaning, imo.

bottle worthy ! green and the jasmine is spectacular with the honey and grapefruit .. This is a very sexy scent and would be appealing more on a female ...
