Love this. This is right up my alley when it comes to expressive, fruit forward fragrances. Fruity, with depth and nuance so it doesn't come across as either childish, feminine, or cheap. Had it for a year now, and wanted to give it an in-depth review. Worn on a warm-ish day (not hot, breezy and sunny) it is VERY loud for the first 2 hours. Definitely strong in those first few hours. That's after 8-10 sprays both on skin and clothes combined. I am now in hour 7 and it is closer to somewhere between intimate and moderate, so it does reign in slowly over time. It is more than a skin scent in hour 7. You get a close but definitely noticeable scent trail when moving, but it isn't projecting a lot when sitting still. Feels like it'll be an 8-9 hour fragrance, probably even more as just a skin scent. So overall, it starts a beast, but doesn't stay beast, which is probably how you'd want it. As for the smell, it doesn't come across as a thick and syrupy fruity fragrance that could become cloying and heavy, but it isn't airy. It's somewhere between a gourmand and a fruit cocktail. Very hard to describe, so you have to sample it and test it on skin to understand how it works and if it would work for you. You absolutely get the passionfruit, for almost the entire life of the fragrance, but the praline/vanilla/patchouli etc. at the base give it depth and it's own unique personality. It doesn't smell like anything I've tried before. Bonus points for that. Casual+, and it could be worn on a night out or for the right kind of event, as well as being right down the middle unisex. Smells luxury and smells quality, so very good value for the money. Doesn't come across anywhere near cheap or childish, even though it's sweet and playful, and definitely could be considered "sexy" in the right setting or situation. A particular YouTuber/Reviewer very regularly compares it to and prefers it to scents in the Tygar/Vibrato profile. I already owned this, as well as Tygar, and have always been confused by that comparison, and while everyone's nose is different - I'm sorry, this does not smell like them. Nor does it work in the settings and situations those do, or the fragrances that clone them do. Those are closer to simple-but-luxury, everyday-like citrus fragrances that you could wear both casually and even at work. This is way more casual, playful and fun, and simply does not come across the way the Tygar profile does. Tygar etc. = Laid back, understated luxury Äican = Fun, bubbly and expressive luxury

Of the dozens of fragrances I've tried, this stands out as being both unique and rewarding. The opening is like smashing a bag of tropical Skittles with a sledgehammer and burying my face in it. At first it was a little over the top but I learned to love that feeling of being along for the ride in Willy Wonka's candy factory. It's the passionfruit note that is dominant at this point, and it's so intense because it's almost comically fruity without being juvenile. After that subsides, the real magic comes in because there's a sweet spot about an hour in where I get one foot in candy land and another foot in this really smooth, handsome vanilla gourmand thing that lasts until I can't smell it anymore. This is the most fruity and sweet I can feel comfortable smelling in public as a grown man, but even though it's not masculine at all, it is so good I just smile whenever I smell it. I keep selling off fragrances I've bought and using up samples I know I won't buy a full bottle of because they don't make me happy. Aican makes me happy when I smell it, and that's worth so much more than anything else in a fragrance. The outstanding bottle design is just the icing on the cake. As far as gender goes, as mentioned I feel like I can pull this off as a man, but if a woman I thought was beautiful smelled like this it would seal the deal. I wouldn't say it's a women's scent but it would be extremely attractive on her. Unfortunately, the sample I got from Scent Splits in Jan 2025 was much more powerful than the full bottle of it I bought from Jomashop a couple months later. It was much more bright, powerful and passionfruit-heavy in the opening. I hope they haven't watered down the formula to keep up with demand. In terms of value, yeah $250 is pretty steep. I got it on Jomashop for $160 and at that price I can justify it, but only because I love the smell.

I managed to source a small decant from the FB selling groups and finally got to wear this today..This is without any shadow of a doubt one of the most unique and beautiful summer fragrances I have ever got my nose on. From the first spray you get a big dose of juicy passion fruit , pineapple 🍍 and mandarin 🍊 that blend beautiful together transporting you and your senses to an exotic paradise island. I don't think one outshines any of the others and they are all equally prominent.. Around ten minutes in after the top notes have seduced you there is this amazing and unique note that comes out..at first I thought it was coffee ☕ but I think it's the praline and patchouli combined that give this dry woody nutty deliciousness that just supports those fruits from underneath..I can't tell you what this combination ells like as there is nothing quite like it ..The ginger from the mid adds an extra bit of punch to the pineapple towards the middle of the wearing giving it an extra push .. Despite this all being absolutely beautiful the drydown somehow manages to be even better .. The gorgeous sandalwood adds a creamy element with the right amount of delicacy. the patchouli adds a tiny sprinkle of earthiness too.The praline then harmoniously mixes with the vanilla creating the most sun kissed sweetness that just completes this masterpiece.. This is absolutely incredible. Decent projection and lasts well on skin Ideal for summer . Can be worn day or night Would shine on holiday in the evenings I'm in love 💕

"There are flowers everywhere for those who want to look." I chose this beautiful Matisse phrase to describe Aican as I have hardly, in studying what is behind a perfume, come across one with such a strong message. The name Aican has an obvious assonance with the affirmation "I can," -an exhortation to positivity, to reach beyond one's limits and succeed in doing things that one did not think were even remotely realizable. Aican also means "Gold purified of all imperfections," and I find it closely related to being able to achieve one's dreams ... to cleanse one's soul of negativity and always move forward peacefully and confidently. This is a fragrance that with its fresh and juicy opening, characterized by citrus and a slightly acidic, non-overpowering pineapple, immediately imparts serenity, becoming, with the vanilla and slightly gourmand hints also given by a touch of praline, enveloping and creamy, comforting, almost as if it were an embrace that with its power infuses us with well-being and happiness. Impactful, delightful, in my opinion it will be one of the Brand's bestsellers. "The Joy of Living" painted by Matisse.

There is something about this fragrance the way it twists and turns... It captivates you... Starting the day at 9:00... Blast of sweet fruits... Passionfruit dominant but wrapped in pineapple and other citrus... Fun but not what makes this special... By 11:00 this really begins to shine as the fruits tone down a little and the beautiful mix of ginger, musk and vanilla vibes begin to come forward... 12:00 Captivating Scent... Just on the right side of subtle... Its at 2:00 that you fall in love with this... Oh my this is nice... So sexy, creamy, vanilla, praline... Boom.... I can see Erba Pura in this but this is the grown up version turned up to the last, Erba Pura too sweet, Erba Gold improving but Aican is the nuts... 15:00 and this is becoming one of the favourites of a considerable collection... Such a cheeky, playful but yet very wearable fragrance... Its just gets stronger and stronger as the day and night goes on... Beautiful Scent... A+
