The hits just keep coming with this brand - with yet another stunning creation!! I did not know what to expect from the name alone, but what hit my skin felt far from any shadow. Instead I was met by a wonderful cacophony of spices - peppercorn, clove, cumin and cinnamon. This combination of slight sweet and sharpness titillates the senses. Building upon this, a powdery iris note emerges - bringing with it a luxurious softness. It juxtaposes the pepper perfectly and works well as a bridge between the top and base stages of the scent. The iris is matched with an almost tonka-like patchouli, drawing your nose in closer. And it is here where you find deep in the dry down that the fragrance pivots in a spicy, woody direction - with cedarwood providing the spine, and vetiver bringing body and longevity. This fragrance truly took me by surprise, being a thoroughly enjoyable wear and one that captured my attention the entire wear of around 6 or so hours on my skin. At this rate, this house might as well send me broke 🤣🤩
