A blind buy (nearly all of my buys are.....) and a fun one! Very few reviews, a brand I've never heard of, a deep discounted price and a PERFECT addition to my seasonal scent wardrobe! My mind is on Christmas right now and this is a lovely counterpoint to the more typical spicy and gourmand scents that I love, but that do seem to take all the attention in December. I agree with all the positive reviews below - it's pine-y and woodsy and wintery. It does fit right in but with its own angle on the season. A walk in snowy woods, seeing your breath in the chilly air, the faint waft of woodsmoke from a chimney off in the distance. This one is boots, not heels. The scent matches the sound of crunching footsteps on leaves, twigs or frosted grass. And while your footsteps are crunching you are looking forward to getting there, it's the anticipation of feeling the warmth of fire and family. That's what this one says to me today and I'm happy I took the chance on it!

happily this isnt heavily cinnamony, i tested armaf club de nuit edp for men which was, this is foresty, rounded, smooth and although the accords read masculine, there is a feminine sweet touch which i love. its a cosy feel, semi soft sillage though feels reasonably dense on skin. ball park similarities are reasonably inexpensive soft unisex scents usually marketed for men. the green box of Joop being one of them. if you think you can pull off a YSL l'omme de nuit or some such thing, this is softer and leans femme. if you like the lavender goings on in libre, or mon guerlain, or REM then this shouldnt be a problem :)

This is a certified budget-friendly-but-smells-expensive kind of fragrance! Like the reviewer before me, this was also a blind buy! I bought this for $45 from fragrancenet. It can be worn all-year round and smells great on both men & women! I honestly don’t get the cinnamon note that listed! To me it smells like a walk in a juniper or pine forest where the air is fresh and aromatic! Longevity— not the best, I would say 3-4 hours tops! It’s great for what it is though! I would recommend it! 👍

This smells like pine needles, Christmas, mulled wine and good times! A lady was wearing this unusual scent yesterday, so I inquired what it was, since I was captivated by the potion's warmth and I have a "thing for perfumes". I'm in New Zealand so it was easy to find it and purchase it today. I'm totally in love! It's super woodsy but it has this vetiver warmth and sweetness to it that I'm swooning over! Absolutely essential for anyone who enjoys being outdoors in winter.

This is a special fragrance. Pine and wood without astringent. Not a Christmas scent as much as a luxury cabin in the winter. Yet still soft, feminine. There is a hint of soft smokiness. This fragrance is all about hints. Every note is subtle, yet combines into something real. A warm wood, rather than a crisp wood, yet not a typical oriental. Wear this with your spouse to remind him how interesting you are, and that he doesn't know everything about you.

runaway AZURE the new one. seems fresher then the original, has the aromatic feel yet with a pleasant fruity smooth feel, plus a lighter showery feel. this isnt a normal freshie however, the marine feel present too. the fruit aspect is not dry, not lolly-ish. adds a clean feel. soft ish sillage but feels dense on skin. good

Very beautiful and unique, warm and aromatic, I really loved it, the only thing you need to spray a lot,cause it doesn’t last long and the sillage is soft. Smell 9/10 Longevity 7/10 Sillage 6/10

I was expecting something warmer but this perfume is more fresh to me, not complaining at all though. One of my favourites :)

I thought this was flowerbomb or hanae mori! Completely unexpected scent profile, but boy is it good. Smells amazing.

Spicy woody perfume with strong notes of pine needles mixed with cardamom and pepper. It lasts for hours, plays with warm vanilla and citrus and makes a beautiful sillage. Unisex, in my view. Absolutely the best of Karen Walker's perfumes.

Absolutely awful! I've been searching for a lovely woodsy, pine, slightly smoky scent but this smells like stale cigarettes. I gagged upon first smell and kept trying for an hour to appreciate the dry down but it was repulsive to my nose.

The opening blast of peppery vetiver, pine and lemon promised a lot and was indeed forest-like and refreshing but just as I was beginning to get excited, the notes vanished and this settled into a lovely drydown reminiscent of but not as defined or memorable as Duelle's vanillary spiced warmth. I get absolutely no leather in this and have to say what a spray on the card promised, did not translate at all on skin. Edit: Massive props for Karen Walker being one of Aoteoroa's (New Zealand's) most prolific and successful international fashion (and jewellery, fragrance also now) designers.

Nothing in my entire collection smells like this. & for that reason this is a stand out and I love it!!! Live in NZ so easily accessible. Hope to have it always available for when I run out
