Fleur d'Orchidee

Opens with a burst of citrus and neroli, then becomes a floral bomb of jasmine and orchid. The orchid smells a lot like plumeria in this fragrance. It is sweet, strong, and gives this fragrance a very tropical feel. The pink pepper is wonderful here. It is softly spicy and perfectly contrast the sweetness of the flowers and the vanilla tinged tonka. There is cedar and patchouli listed, but fortunately, I barely smell them which is great since I'm not a big fan of those notes. I really don't know what fragrance to compare this against since this doesn't remind me of any of the fragrances others here think it reminds them of. If I'm stretching, in a vague way Soleil Blanc, but only in feel not in scent. This is much more floral and stronger than that and doesn't have the citrus playing throughout as it does in that scent. This also doesn't even have a hint of coconut. The only drawback with this fragrance is that while it starts out big with nice, easy to smell projection, within 2 hours it was a skin scent. But this is so cheap it's not much of an issue, and the 50ml. bottle is easy to carry around to respray. Overall, a great blind buy that smells much more expensive than the pittance I paid. I just love it. Edit - I blind bought a small bottle of Jimmy Choo Rose Passion and it really smells a lot like this, except the Choo lasts. I think it must be the orchid that is making me think that. Seriously, it smells more like this than any of the fragrances listed in the This Perfume Reminds Me section. If you ever get a chance to try that do, and you'll see what I mean.

Believe it or not, i had this on my wish list for a couple of years because of the notes but never caved in because i don't like /never liked Lagerfeld (the late, more than the brand but the two things go hand in hand: eons ago I met him by chance in Paris and strongly disliked him ever since). Well this week i need something new but without breaking the bank so Fleur d'Orchidee found its way to my home. Blind buy and, as rarely as it happens, instant love (it costs me admitting that, do note). This perfume is a dream come true if you like white flowers, as it is a very wearable one. It starts off as a white flower explosion, neroli and jasmine but then it calms down to a creamy, lactonic vanilla powdery base. On that road, i cannot say if i can smell orchid (the only ones i was ever able to smell were deliciously fresh and green) to me it was more a tuberose frangipani mix, but I guarantee you that the base is delicious. Very comforting, cozy and feminine without being too sweet, but it's not a gourmand. The vanilla (or the tonka) makes it to my nose a relative to DiorAddict (the original). It has similarities with TF Orchid Soleil and also with Soleil Blanc (without the coconut and with much more longevity). I really love it. Easy to wear, compliment getter, makes you feel put together and very elegant. Feminine all the way. Who would have guessed? Second back-up bottle on the way.

I blind bought this and I love it so much! It's crazy how similar it is to Soleil Blanc I have tested this side by side with a sample of Soleil blanc and they are very similar on my skin. I think TF's is a little richer and creamier and KL's is a little bit brighter. I haven't yet tested their longevity side by side. I imagine TF's will be longer lasting, however, the cost of KL's is a fraction of the price. Mmmm I can't stop sniffing my arm. Yum! Edit 9/22/2022: I get at least 6 hours from this with strong projection in the opening softening into moderate throughout the wear time. This is a win for me!

Да, има препратки към Том Форд, теракота, само в отварянето прилича на бигардия, после се развива в посока теракота, нарцисо амбре, само е някак по-акварелен от тях, носи летни, слънчеви вибрации, трайността му е много добра, без да е нахален, създава една много деликатна, но осезаема аура за много време. Мисля, че както и теракота, ще е много красив в студено време, засега му се наслаждавам в топлото.

For my tastes this is an amazing cheapie. I love the Soleil Blancs, Bronze Goddess EAU FRAICHE, Nuxe Le Prod., etc. of the world, and this fits right into my warm, fragrant, expensive sun oil-style fragrance collection. If you are looking for that style but it's out of your budget at the moment, get this guy. I smell soft orange blossom/frangipani. It's not too heady or nauseating. I don't get grapefruit at all.

Neroli and Jasmine sambac on steroids. I'm only an hour in and its going strong.... creamy floral lovers (white flowers) can blind buy this one safely. It's rather basic (not boring) and could be layered if you want to give it a little more complexity.

Absolutely lovely. It is sweet but in a delicate way. It reminds me a lot of Caudalie - Parfum divine.i wish it could stay longer on my skin

Love love love ! Despite the name the star is the neroli. Soft, fresh, delicate and universally appropriate.

I bought a bottle of this perfume online as a blind buy (all of my 2020 purchases were blind buys due to the COVID-19) it was 35 USD for 100 ML so I decided to give it a try Fragrance: honestly, I am confused by this fragrance, judging by the name, you would think that Orchids will be playing the main role in this scent, but unfortunately, it doesn't...This is a White Floral/Citrusy scent...mainly Neroli, I wished Orchid and Tonka were more prominent and loud, but not in this case, the scent is pleasant and has this niche-isque quality to it, so it is not cheap smelling at all Longevity and Sillage: barely-there kind of scent, I am hoping when we get to summertime it will project better overall, but now the weather is cold with low humidity and I get about 2 hours of longevity and skin scent kind of sillage Packaging: Minimalistic and classy Overall, I think this scent was a nice "Idea" that went wrong in execution, I don't hate it, but I am not impressed either, for sure it will not be stable in my collection, and I am not going to repurchase it again

This has a summer vibe but it doesn't remind me of Eau de Soleil Blanc. Fleur d'Orchidee lacks the cream-like lotion factor. For summer I like most Neroli and Citrus combination fragrances I have tried. This one is an acceptable affordable option. As it settles I get the jasmine, and a bit of wood. Something in this keeps it from being overwhelmingly sweet. It might be the pink pepper or the patchouli but neither stands out to me. I realize I need to do some research about the use of orchid notes in fragrances. My understanding up to this point is they generally do not have a scent.🤷 My favorite affordable neroli's, Bright Neroli Ferrari and Banana Republic Neroli Woods are more aromatic/unisex. Fleur d'Orchidee fulfills the need for a more feminine option. When I want neroli to be more in the background to floral notes, I choose Alien eau Extraordinaire, Fleurs d'Oranger Serge Lutens, Yellow Diamond Versace or Elizabeth Arden White Tea and Ginger Lily.

I randomly took this one from shelf and tested in a boutique. I wear mostly niche so it was quite far away from what I usually get. It started with very fresh citrus, but more mandarins than lemon. After a while the citrusy nuances faded and jasmin followed, with some milky notes in my nose. For me the tonka bean, patchouli and woody notes are very subtle if none. It's a tad soapy, but not in a too soapy way if that makes sense. Also it stays very linear after the jasmin comes through. Very nice, clean scent. Sunshine and beach without coconut and lotions. edit. After sleeping with this I now get the base notes of cedar and tonka. It has turned to a warm and cozy skin scent. Still not much patchouli here though. I like this more than I expected.

To me this is a wonderful tropical fragrance. After comparing it with Prodigieux Le Parfum, this one is so much rounder, pleasant and also it lasts longer!! I have Terracotta and I feel that sometimes yellow florals can have that animalic urine smell on some skin types. But here we can feel a distinctive citrusy and creamy frangipani-like smell. Delicious. Compared with Soleil Blanc I can say they are in the same ballpark but very (very) different one from the other. Longevity is around 3 hours with soft projection and yet, I Love it! @deepgreenbeauty

I bought this beautiful perfume privat, a full bottle, and l'm ever so happy with it! This is a very kozy perfume, and office-friendly, it's easy-going, and easy to grab if you dont know what to wear. Some say it has a suntan-vibe, agree, even thoug it opens with lots of neroli and jasmin, these notes fade away very quickly, what's left on my skin is a soapy and powdery mess with lots of tonka and patchouli, and, what a lovely mess this is! 9/10

I don’t think this is what orchids smell like :D But it’s an interesting scent, fresh neroli and citrus. It’s sweeter and less soapy than most neroli scents. I get a note of pollen for the first hour, which I really enjoy, and it makes this scent unique at first. But it dries down similar to most neroli scents, just a little sweeter.

I blindly bought this based on reviews here. I am afraid of perfumes with dominant white flowers, especially when they are sharp and overpower everything else. But this blend is really well balanced. I like the orchid here, gives some sweetness. IMO it is not similar to Soleil Blanc.

This was a blind buy, but I absolutely don't regret it. It might take a while to get used to it, but I really enjoy it. It is a really fresh, flowery perfume that is not too much. The price fits the quality of the perfume.

No Orchid in this fragrance for me. Straight forward neroli/orange blossom aroma with a bit sweet vanilla-like background from tonka bean I suppose. I really like it, it is fresh but cosy white floral.

If I could only sue all those who likened this to TF Soleil Blanc 👿 You trapped me into buying this! No, this doesn’t smell summery, coconuty, frangipani or anything remotely like Soleil blanc! This smells a bit dusty, powdery and makeup like (it could very well be that imaginary orchid smell) and doesn’t sit well on my skin at all! I get the citrus (not grapefruit though), and probably the neroli or something else that gives me old aunt’s saved for years perfume associations! No vanila, no tonca, nothing sweet at all. What to do with this big bottle now?

I bought it when I thought I loved Soleil Blanc (I actually don't, lol. The drydown makes me feel sick). Btw, I found the 100ml bottle of this perfume on Vinted for 25€ and I blind bought it. I'm so happy about my purchase, and I look forward to use it next spring/summer! The drydown is definitely better than SB. I know it's not exactly the same, and I despise KL, but come on. 25€! EDIT: I'm selling it. I really can't get past that obnoxious drydown.

I like this one. A bit heavy, so perfect for fall/winter. I Like the mix of Tonka, Orchid, Jasmin & Cedar. The white flowers are not sweet - more towards dark and heavy and I like that alot, very tired of sugarsweet scents.

Smells exactly like Soleil blanc, like summer, the tester I tried lasted literally half an hour on my skin, even though it's very cheap it's not worth it.

I just received a tester with this, all I get is neroli. I really can’t stand neroli, for me it’s an old lady note, and I find it nauseating.

First spray was a splash of citrus, pepper and a hint of neroli. I was so disappointed that I almost return it back to the seller. However, within 20 mins later, the dry down came up and from then I could detect the sweet neroli, jasmine and tonka, pretty smooth I must adimit, and the citrus was all gone, thanks God. I couldn't detect any wood or patchouli but maybe they were there to keep the balance between the sweetness and citrusy. It was quite pleasant, in fact didn't carry that cheap alcohol vibe but like a barely-be-there expensive side. I understand how people could mistaken this for Soleil but trust me, this is not even closed. It's similar to In Red by Armand Basi but with more sweet white flowers. I bought it was only because I was looking for a discontinued Beyond Paradise by Estee Lauder. Without the ridiculous citrus, yes it is that neroli and jasmine I was looking for, but to match that level of the true paradise, not yet. I do recommend it for hot humid area tho, it's gonna shine better in the heat instead of the dry cold weather.

This is a neroli-based fragrance, which might not be clear at all from the name. Frankly, I am not very sure what an orchid smells like (to me, it smells of nothing), but what I am sure of is that this scent is full of white floral vibes and extremely pronounced jasmine and fleur d'orange (which is explained by neroli being a key ingredient). As other KL scents from this range, Fleur d'Orchidée is light-weight, perfectly appropriate for all ages and all seasons, however you'll get the best out of it in summer. Again, as Fleur de Pecher and Fleur de Murier, it is not very long-lasting, but regarding the lower price it's something that doesn't bother me too much.

After spraying: heavy, similar to tuberose essential oil After 15 minutes: it smells like Chinese Magnolia essential oil I had - something musky, cinnamic After 30 minutes: citrusy, very similar to May Chang oil and finally NEROLI! like fresher Soleil Blanc!!! Orchids have many types of fragrances, they can smell like chocolate, cinnamon, magnolia, hyacinth, jasmin sometimes even like cheese, often with "buttery" aftertaste - not fresh) I don't know where to find an orchid in this perfume. Maybe it's that magnolia in the heart. For neroli lovers.

Fleur d orchidee smells A bit like TF Soleil Blanc and eau de Soleil Blanc minus the Coconut. It’s a nice fragrance to wear during the spring and summer. I usually don’t love Neroli fragrances when the Neroli is very sharp and almost bitter smelling. In this fragrance it’s well blended with other notes and flowers such as the orchid and jasmine. IMO it’s should have been named Fleur d Neroli because it’s far more prominent than the orchid. But for the price it’s a very decent fragrance!

Huge White Floral mellows as grapefruit takes the edge off, but despite the citrus spark and warm soft base, I end up with a fairly simple but nice soft floral vanilla that reminds me a LOT of those souvenir perfumes you buy in Hawaii on your way off the island. Not that that's bad, but maybe this is too floral for me. I'm not usually a floral person.

The person that said that remind it like alien goddess must have mistaken alien goddess that has nothing to do with this pure nerole, a tiny bit of jasmine and grapefruit, not even nearly alike, alien goddess is creamy coconut... This one is not bad but is not my cup of tea

Orchardee I tried this and pecher from the same line. This scent us not liner I prefer the beginning, it's cool, floral, woods, light and fresh. It dries up further and losesthat cool top layer. Will retest. These seem to be at a reasonable price point so give them a go.

The person that described it as lactonic frangipani hit the nail on the head. Too cloying for me. The bottle is beautiful. Will need to find a way to layer it. Or gift it.

Really nice summer fragrance the suntanlotion type unfortunately it doesn’t last on my skin on fabric it stays a little longer

Its smell like Guimauve but softer, more neroli and easier to wear.
