Timeless Pink Tea-Rose with Peony... Although it's not a dupe of anything, this beauty has a slightly vintage leaning opening where I catch reminders of Tea Rose Perfumers' Workshop, but then transforms to a more contemporary tea-rose. Opens with a burst of rose with citrus and green nuances that blooms, developing honey, powdery, peppery and soapy facets, resting on a soft woody base with faint peachy touches that become peachier the longer it's on the skin. In the drydown, the rose sheds the citrus & green facets and takes on a whipped, velvety quality, taking you on a journey from rosebud to full bloom. This beauty is for the seekers and collectors of rose scents. Overall: Beautiful timeless tea-rose scent with well above average performance. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Update 07/11/24: This is a rose scent that really shines in hot weather. Wearing it right now and the projection is lovely and voluminous in the warmth - less sharp than in cooler weather. Still has a slight vintage lean to it but that's muted by the whipped peony imo. Definitely a pink rose, and in the heart there's also some refreshing geranium leanings as well. This is beautiful in July. I will probably reserve this rose for warm weather. Still a love.

I can’t believe the deal I got for this... $35 CANADIAN DOLLARS FOR A 100ml bottle!!! Tester yes -no box but had full cover and doesn’t say tester! I LOVE Kate spade, started with swirl and just fell in love with the rest lol so this was a blind buy buy I was fairly confident that I would love it! Drum roll please.....OF COURSE I DO!!!! It’s actually a bit different than I expected! I thought it would be a bit more green/citrus/aquatic/fresh/rose at the end but instead it’s more like green/rose/fresh/aquatic and light citrus. Granted it’s only been an hour or two ish but it’s much more rose than I expected, again not a terrible thing but it just surprised me! Lovely all the way around! I should preface my review by saying that rose is my favorite perfume note and I love this scent for that reason. That is exactly what IFB is, pure undiluted rose. Its not dewy but it shines like it was freshly picked. I suppose the lemon is there, as zest is in a recipe, to enhance but never to be individually detected. This is by no means a citrus scent not even in the dry down. Because it is so purely rose, I do enjoy layering this scent with others in my collection. Nice with aquatic scents and other florals. I love to spray it in my hair and on my neck in the spring and summer. Absolutely one of my favorite roses and a bargain gem I hope I never have to part with. 🌹

I really like this! It is a gorgeous, fresh pink rose, complete with a touch of green from stems and foliage. It is soft but present. Sillage and longevity could be more, but I have a feeling this is something that you wear for yourself, not for others. I have been hunting for a Rose scent that doesn’t turn make-up-y on me and this fits the bill. If you like roses, I highly recommend you check it out. I can’t precisely say what makes this so good on me, but I keep smelling my wrist, and that makes it a win. Again, the only downside is longevity is minimal, only about three hours on my skin. I’ll try it on clothes later and see if it lasts longer.

I’m am shocked by the ratings on this? This is not weak at all, I always wear very strong scent like Beautiful, Passion, White Linen, Eternity. I only wear heavier scents, that being said this last for over 24 hours on my clothes and has great silage. This is not weak at all it’s actually stronger!! It’s a rose dominant perfume and I absolutely adore this and I don’t like rose scents but I love this it’s GORGEOUS❤️ Happy Sniffing!

Very pretty realistic rose with lots of green notes and I get a historia of an aquatic vibe but not a lot. Maybe the roses here are in cold water or there's water nearby and lots of greenery. Very fresh, but without being citrusy-fresh or sports. Is it revolutionary? No. Is it good quality and we'll executed especially for the price point? Absolutely. Rose lovers, give it a whirl.

Divine. Smells as the accords say. Green, rose, floral, fresh, ozonic, woods. Reminds me a bit in a less rosy way of chopard felicia Rose's. I can also see why someone put similarities to leau Disney florals, Right up my alley, lasted 11am to about 6pm ish on top of my wrist. Cool spring weather today

I like this a lot. This is a pink fairy rose still on the bush. It is not sharp to me or musky. It’s just a delightful pink rose. More modern smelling than rose oil to my nose.

One very pretty floral with some other nice touches. I like to wear it as a daytime fragrance through spring and summer 🥰

Today was my day to deliberetly test perfumes that I never try for whatever reason. When I first sprayed this one, I was in love! It is spring time with roses and peones in full bloom - and this perfume was it! I was in the garden packed with roses and peones, and it followed me through the store. I sprayed some on my dress and my arm. It’s been 4-5 hours and I can barely smell it on my arm, I can still find the spot on my dress where I sprayed. It smells like green rose now, still very pleasant. But honestly, this is not the perfume I am willing to spend all that money on. Also, I couldn’t wear it every day, rather on a day when I feel like wearing a flowery dress. If I saw a 5ml bottle to buy cheap, I would go for it.

This is a ROSE perfume. "Roses in bloom" would probably be more fitted as rose is all I can smell from this. Think L'occitane rose hand cream. At the beginning it's fresh like l'occitane Roses Et Reines EDT. It's very similar to a large bouquet of freshly bloomed red roses X3. Then it gets a little strong and heady. It's rose from head to toe, not much else there. You might want to stay away if you don't like rose or can't stand slightly dated perfumes. I still like it, but I won't need much of it. I think a roller ball or an 1oz bottle would be enough for me.

I normally really struggle with rose perfumes and never managed to find one which I truly like. I only smelled it from the bottle, as I had already sprayed something else. It is definitely "in your face" kind of rose, but I found it really gorgeous. Smelled like I had a bouquet of freshly cut pink roses under my nose. It genuinely smelled like a real rose flower not like a perfume-I guess what other people describe as green. I am decided to go back and try it on my skin and see what happens. Who nose maybe I finally found my kind of rose scent.

This should go without saying, but if you hate flowers, do not buy In Bloom! It actually smells like you put your face into a giant bouquet of flowers. I smell lilacs pretty strongly, in addition to rose. I do not smell any fruits or green notes at all. I like it, but fear that it would be too overpowering to wear in public. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous, which brings my rating up a couple points. My rating for Kate Spade in Bloom is 7/10.

The first time I tried this it faded within three hours. It lasted longer today but it does stay Closer to the skin then I would like. It starts off with sharp green notes then transforms to Rose. However, there is some sort of aquatic note in this. Almost like dew on rose petals. Otherwise, it’s not a very complex scent. It is pretty, and very pleasant, but like other reviewer’s I think and after bath splash would do just as well.

I get rose petals, peony and watery greenness. Then more peach in the dry down. It smells real, not like something you are supposed to smell. It's like when you are standing somewhere outside and the air is fresh but it's a mix of the things around you. I am surprised to like it so much because I usually don't like rose scents - they are usually dusty and musty to me. I am really glad to have a rose scent in my collection now.

I stopped by Dillard’s yesterday to try it again. The store assistant told me that 80% people recoil from it when sprayed, it is so much in your face. I was really surprised. It does start strong and green with lots of bloom. In about an hour, I only smell the green. Maybe the bloom is still there and I just can’t smell it. I still like it. I will layer it with Stella Stella to keep the rose scent for longer.

I bought this as a blind buy at either T.J. Maxx or Marshalls and totally disliked it the first time I tried it. I loved the bottle though, so kept it around. Today, about 10 months later, I have tried it again and I have a totally different impression! This really is a delightful rose scent, and it's fairly strong. I'm very glad that I didn't toss or trade it!

Scent memories are often deceiving...Issey Miyake Florale is nothing like this—a green rose paired with lotus. It was good, and the rose surprisingly realistic, until the aquatic/ozonic nuances became bothersome.

@jay.shouse is RIGHT! IFB is a beautiful, strong scent that lasts for hours. I sprayed it on my cardigan and could still smell it the next day. IFB is a very green rose, the greenest rose you've ever smelled. :)

for rose lovers. it's rose....and rose. sharp at first then softens but it's still rose perfume. I would not wear this in closed environment but for Spring and Summer days and nights would be fine

🌞An absolutely stunning bottle with a gorgeous white rose on the top that looks very sculptural. And I adore this bottle and like Kate Spade and the design house very much. I do think it’s a white rose smell, possibly more like a realistic wild white rose. It has strong projection, lemony citrusy freshness . I love the whole idea of it for some hot summer days especially. I love it for its outstanding originality and stunning bottle design. It’s not very similar to Chloe that I love so much. I just love so much that it’s all about the white roses! How rare is that to find? I am so mad at myself for selling my bottle earlier. Sometimes we just plain don’t see or appreciate the beauty and the genuine talent right in front of us!🥀

I wore a carded spray sample vial of In Full Bloom a couple of times to test. It's primarily a rose frag with a tad of freshness, not really aquatic. I was hoping for more of the tea and fruit notes to stick around to provide more complexity. Might be a safe blind buy for lovers of rose with a backdrop of greenness and other pink florals. If I have a longing in early springtime for something rose forward my personal pick would be YSL Paris or Stella by Stella McCartney.

This is L'Imperatrice but without the bubble gum sweetness. Instead of this, you have here a lot of geranium. I believe if L'Imperatrice is too sweet and girly to you but you still like it - try this In full bloom, it's more refreshing. On my skin I get the slightly metallic feeling, perhaps this stops me from getting it. Can easily become your everyday inoffensive option.

Strong rose scent, base smells musky with some stagnant water (which might be the green notes playing tricks on my nose). If I saw this on someone’s vanity, I would pick it up; the bottle is so cute. I sprayed twice and I wish I had only sprayed once. This is super strong, and sharp, a little goes a long way. In Full Bloom reminds me of a vintage drugstore perfume.

My husband bought me this for Christmas. I’m not the biggest rose fan, but this is wearable for me. I prefer musks, gourmands, and well.. anything but rose (and ylang-ylang, but that’s a story for later). I would like to reach for it more, but it’s too cold for now. Hopefully I can wear it more in the spring. 😊

Prettiest bottle ever! I love the rose notes. However, that citrus note is overpowering for me. I think they used citronellol oil for the citrus notes because I’m getting a bug spray vibe. I might keep this on my shelf simply for the bottle’s beauty. 🌹

Rose infused green tea with a background of lotus that has a nice, watery quality to my nose. I used to adore rose scented fragrances, but lately, I've been a bit put off by the modern ones I've smelled. This is actually a decent rose(waterish) scent and although I've not fully tested the sample I have, I got some on my fingers pulling the stopper up and now my fingers have a nice scent emanating from them. :) Will definitely give a test run and report back later on how it further develops. Update: well, I tried it on skin and it turned into a big no for me, unfortunately. I have to agree with those who say this is too sharp and green, but honestly, after I washed it off, the lingering scent left behind smelled pretty good! I think those green notes mixed with the tea notes cause the clash of sharpness and greenness and this only needs one or the other.

My husband hates this on me, and he never comments on any fragrances except to say that he likes a vanilla. I must agree. It smells like an extremely strong fresh, true rose, with geraniol and citronella oils. I got it at TJ Maxx and couldn't smell it because it was boxed. I love the bottle though. I kept it for that. Maybe it was old. I dislike the scent so much that I actually leave the bottle out during open houses to sell my home because if someone stole it, they would get stinky karma, ha ha!

I have been punched in the face. With roses. Not pretty, deep, just-bloomed, satisfying roses, but OMG SCREAMING dead, funeral home roses. I am so, so, so sorry about this one because I love roses, flowers, peonies...but oh my. Within 20 minutes this became headache inducing. I can say one positive, the smell is enormous. Unfortunately, I cannot walk around smelling like I just died, so I will return this for another scent. Heck, anything that makes me feel alive. :runs away:

To keep this simple, I HATE HATE,HAAAATE THIS FRAGRANCE! It is the most sharp, loud, heady, nauseating, overly soapy, rose fragrance I've ever owned. The bottle design is pretty obnoxious. The flower is so big that the bottle constantly falls over, and the cap never wants to stay on. This was a huge fail The only up side is that staying power and projection was above average for me

This was a blind buy and I just put $30 in the trash. This is not similar to Jo Malone red roses. It has a sharp green opening and smells like dead roses. Then the rose scent goes away the dry down is a pungent woody peach smell. Couldn’t wait to scrub this off!

The green notes and tea in the opening smell medicinal to my nose. As it dried, it morphed into something like big spray. Too bad because I received a 30 ml for only $19.99 at T.J. Maxx

Received this as a gift from someone who knows I love perfume but knows nothing about my taste. From the bottle to the fluid inside, this fragrance appeals to me in no way. That being said, I think it could be a good starter perfume/gift for a teenager or young woman with very feminine taste. Like many have alluded to, this is sharp sharp sharp! Spray with caution. It is rosy and green, to the point where it almost feels aquatic in a rose and lily pond kind of way. If that appeals to you but you don't like sharpness, I'd recommend L'eau d'Issey Florale. If for whatever reason you do like the sharpness but don't need the rose, Elizabeth Arden's old classic Sunflowers is a very affordable alternative. I'd talk about longevity or drydown but there really is nothing to talk about as this perfume neither lasts nor has much of a distinct character at its base. Perhaps I am being too harsh, but I feel it would be a disservice to my fellow fragrance lovers if I didn't explain that a perfume of this caliber could be easily replaced by a body spray from Bath and Body Works or Victoria's Secret and save you lots of money.

i have to say i was hesitant to buy this giving some of the reviews lol........but i love kate spade perfumes so i thought why not (got it a fragrancenet so the price was super good if it was a flop lol ) so well to my surprise i loved it lol......i usually am not a huge green or rose fan but i thought this was a unique & yes very floral green scent :) to me its more green than floral.........i would say its more green stems & green leaves & then all the roses lol..........but i actually mean that in a good way lol........its definitely a fresh cut of a huge bouquet of flowers - stems & all stuffed into a bottle of perfume :) even tho i like it it may not be crowd friendly or may be too much or too strong for the timid lol or people who just hate green scents or in your face flower scents lol - i would say to those people pass it on by - its not for u but if ur someone who likes a unique quirky scent & u love the crispness of green combined with a huge bunch of flowers check it out :)

Even if you don't care for the fragrance, the bottle is worth the purchase price alone. Gorgeous. In Full Bloom truly represents Kate Spade's overall aesthetic: Simple yet chic. I would not classify this as a strictly 'rose' scent.' It has a green tea citrus opening. For me, the Peony and the Lotus really shine through making this a sort of watery floral. The Cedar gives this scent some bottom-end depth, and the peach gives it a slight almost powdery fresh sweetness. This is a really lovely scent...uncomplicated, fresh, slightly watery, and a little sweet... A great fragrance to put on after a hot bath or a shower. Although this type of scent may not be everyone's cup of tea, if you like green florals, you will love this. In my opinion, a very safe blind buy, and a new favorite of mine. Love it!

Enjoying this way more than I expected! I've been dipping my toe into rose perfumes over the last year and I enjoy the way IFB is both fresh and spicy, in the way that only certain species of rose can be. The way in which that quality was captured makes IFB suitable for any season, but especially late winter/early spring when temps are cold in the morning but warm enough to make you shed a layer or two by mid-afternoon. I love the boost if gives off when I step out of the house into the sun. Longevity is a good 6-8 hrs and sillage is arm's length. I consider this a safe blind buy if you enjoy rose perfumes. It's pretty inexpensive on the grey market.

if you dislike rose, don't bother. this was also a blind buy for me at TJ MAX for $26. It smells just like a FRESH, VERY GREEN ROSE! I don't get much of the other notes, especially at first spray. I smell powdery rose when first sprayed out of the bottle. not a lot of sweetness until the base, but a woody sweetness rather than a vanilla sweet. this is a bit intense. it overpowered the other fragrances I tested. this won't be for everyone because of how sharp it is. this smells like a garden dewy rose as it settles. very realistic, great for the price. definitely prefer the dry down.

A very green, crisp, fresh, aquatic rose. Bright and slightly citrusy, this is one of my favorite rose scents. Not powdery, dusty, creamy/lactonic or soapy to my nose, more like... fresh rosewater in spring. It reminds me a lot of L'Eau D'Issey in its wateriness and freshness. This is my go-to for early Spring (Mar—Apr), it is clean and energizing upon first spray, and the delicate florals that later unfold are a mood booster. Love it!

Yikes! A little dab will do please! This is different from all the sugar bombs and musks of late. It surrounds you, and a large perimeter, in a heavenly rose aroma. I thought it was lovely.After about 30 minutes the lotus and wood emerge and my love affair was over as quickly as it began. For it to start so strong it doesn't have much longevity, 3 hours and I barely smell a thing. I will enjoy my sample but I will pass on a bottle.

This is my favorite blind buy. I got it for 30 bucks at TJ Maxx and couldn’t be happier. I must say that this scent truly reminds me of Angel Nova. The lemon brings a sour kick to the rosey notes. It’s so soft and remains strong for quite a while. Despite it’s softness there is still a freshness thanks to some of the fainter ‘aquatics’ in the background. My only real issue is that the cap doesn’t really stay on.

I volunteered last weekend and a woman was wearing a scent that smelled familiar yet I couldn't place it. I asked her and she said In Full Bloom by Kate Spade. I truly value perfumes with power but this one gave me a headache. Normally I love floral and green. The intensity reminded me of a collision between Estee Lauder pleasures and Chloe Chloe perfume but in overdrive.

I gave this a try but it was promptly returned. It is VERY strong, floral and green which I usually like but I could not handle this one. I cannot imagine a scenario where this would be appropriate due to its strength and sharpness. A scrubber for me personally.

I don’t know why, based on notes alone, but I tried IFB in the store and I am reminded of Calvin Klein Escape circa 1991, Something green? Marine? Peachy? On the card in my handbag, it’s sticking around after 24 hours: a crisp, powdery, unmistakable rose.

true to its name, a very beautiful blooming bouquet of roses. if i saw a fantasy garden with green vines and vibrant flowers, this is what i would imagine it to smell like
