Live Colorfully Luxe

It's a YES for me! When I first sprayed this, for a few SECONDS...I got a spicy cologne like masculine smell. Then just as quickly - spice, vanilla and powder came in. And it's been a beautiful experience ever since! As I've been sitting at my desk w/ my little heater on - I have been in this aroma bubble of delicious soft spice, aromatic musk, fragrant vanilla, and tantalizing violet-esque powder! Ugh...this is truly lovely!!! For me: This indeed has a sweetness to it, it's just not a type of vanilla cake sweet. The vanilla, the violet like powderiness from the orris, and the spices are creating a sweet yet balanced aroma. And yes, this is mature in the sense of grown and nonjuvenile - not in the sense of "old lady perfume" that may be nasty to some. I get pimento in the dry down as well; and I can believe that leather is in here - but it's not stealing the show at all. These notes are complimenting each other well, kudos to the Perfumer that made this. I am beyond pleased to have spotted this behind every bottle of hair care whatevers in the clearance section of TJ Maxx for $20!!

Wearing this Kate Spade Live Colorfully Luxe in 78F (low humidity) weather. It is a gorgeous, light, spicy, nutty, leathery vanilla. Moderately sweet. Feels as soft, smooth and refined as lambskin leather. I am really enjoying this. Feels like a versatile, all season fragrance. Average performance in longevity in the current climate but does not project much. Dry down is soft and sensual. Distant cousin to Rebecca Minkoff but without the tobacco. Overall, very delicate and luxurious perfume. EDIT: Cooler weather brings out the performance in this perfume. Lasted longer than 10 hours on clothing with soft projection. EDIT 8/9/23: 2 years of owning this perfume and it has become very long lasting in any weather. Aged very well. Warm, cozy and spicy vanilla.

I absolutely adore this fragrance; the unique spices, orris, vanilla, and musk notes truly bring together a uniquely mature scent that I feel works in every setting. For less than $15 at Burlington, I absolutely have no complaints about the scent itself; I'm a fan of more punchy vanilla scents. The downside of Luxe is that it pretty much dissapears after an hour or two, no matter how much you spray; even on clothing. If not for the terrible longevity and nonexistent sillage, I feel this scent could have so much more potential. Overall a blind buy win for me; the spicy notes may be a bit overbearing for some. Very nice 'baddie on a budget' scent in my opinion ;)

This is beautiful. IMO this is a predominantly an Orris/ Iris scent with spices and Vanilla. The leather, combined with the orris gives it an earthy/ suede vibe that rounds and smooths everything out. It’s kinda powdery and it has a bit of that “purple” thing going on because of the Orris Root. I layered it with Oil Perfumery’s inspiration of MoonLight Patchouli and that’s fabulous. I’ve layered it with Canturi and that’s great too. It’s a strong like for me:):):)

I found a 1oz bottle for under $10 and I'm so glad I picked this up. I am absolutely in love with the creamy, spicy, vanilla dry down. For a cheapie designer fragrance I get 4-5 hours of longevity with decent sillage. Perfectly unisex IMO. Great find!

Give big credit to Kate Spade for coming out with a designer fragrance that will be unique in your department stores like Dillard’s and Macy’s. This to me is a nice vanilla fragrance with powdery, spicy and leathery facets. If you like vanilla you should try this. I’m a guy but I work in a department store so I make sure to know what women’s fragrances are good along with men’s of course.

I blind bought this on Amazon based on the notes, intrigued by a mass fragrance with spice, orris and ambergris. It's fine, but it's mostly vanilla.

I was so excited about this. I liked the original Live Colorfully, but there was too much white floral for me. I like more of a spicy fragrance and vanilla. Local Kate Spade store had the rollerball, so I hustled over there today. SO DISAPPOINTED. It smells...like perfume. By that I mean, I couldn't make out any notes, it just smelled like generic fragrance. Not luxe, not sophisticated, not even a "festive" Kate Spade perfume like the original. Actually, after I walked around the store for a bit, I went back to the counter just to double-check the name on the bottle. It was just not AT ALL what I expected or what was described.

Not long lasting and not an appealing scent to me. Blind buy so I'll figure out how to make it better. I love most Kate Spade, but this one isn't one of them.

Blind buy fail for me. :( It is definitely a spicy vanilla, but there is no sweetness. It is a bit medicinal, and kind of reminds me of Old Spice aftershave, which is definitely not something I want to wear. I normally love Kate Spade fragrances, but this is nothing like their normal offerings. It is more of a 90s style powerhouse masculine-leaning fragrance, and that's just not my cup of tea. I'll probably offer it to my mom because she still likes the older style fragrances like Passion and White Diamonds, etc., which is in the same vein as this.

Ok, I just picked this up at TJmaxx $24.99 for 3.4 oz Bottle. First I don't usually Care about the bottle unless its atrocious and hard to spray or particularly Lovely. When I opened this box I right away liked the bottle. Then I sprayed it. like most really great perfumes you have to let this settle for at least a few minutes and the longer you wait the better it gets. I do not understand why She named this Live Color Fully luxe as it has NOTHING at all to do with Live Color Fully which is a Lovely floral. Luxe is very unique and different. I Love to find things that don't smell like anything else I own or have ever smelled. I read the reviews here and almost did not buy because it sounded like boring vanilla. maybe there is some vanilla in here but it is much too Spicy and interesting to be boring. Tom Ford has a Perfume F*$king Fabulous which to my nose does not deserve that name. This perfume would better suit that name if only because it is so unique and interesting. I cannot pick out all the Spices in here. perhaps a chef could although I would not call this gourmand. It is a little bit sweet but not like candy, and has nice silleage. I cant speak to lasting just yet. Im very happy with this blind buy but not sure if everyone would be. This is not a crowd pleaser perfume but then neither is coco mademoiselle and look at it's Success. If you like spicy vanilla like eggnog but not LOL maybe try this. I love it and I don't like boring vanilla scents. I Love Billie Eilish But her first perfume is way too boring for me. just Straight up Vanilla. This is NOT that. So five months later and I've lived with this perfume for a while now and I will say that still it is a very interesting vanilla spice bomb. Great silleage, and lasts for a good while, several hours. I would say on one hand not a safe bling buy because it is so unique and different but then again it's not expensive either so why not? But I don't have anything else in my huge collection that smells like this. I would compare to Toboacco Vanille but there is no tobacco in here, just the vanilla and a lot of spiciness. But again, the name is all wrong because it is NOT a Live Colorfully Flanker AT ALL. They hare Zero in common with each other, no common DNA whatsoever. If you like that, does not mean you will like this, if that one is red, this one is green. Total opposites to my nose.

I just blind bought this because I saw it in burlington and the notes on here intrigued me. I haven't tested this on my skin yet but I sprayed it on a tissue and it's sitting next to me while I sit here watching TV. I just want to say, the dry down of this smells like the best parts of Moschino Couture. I will likely be back after I test this more but so far I like that dry down on paper. Edit: It's been one day and I'm still testing it but this is delicious!!!😊 Edit 2: This is so lovely, I saw another bottle and im going back for it today. So warm and cozy, kind of smells like a chai tea or idk I cant explain it but its beautiful.

Mature and underrated spicy, powdery vanilla. I wish it was sweeter--and it's a little too sophisticated/mature for me. On the right person, this would be an amazing autumn/winter signature.

I definitely get the spice vibe. This can be unisex. It’s different. I get a licorice like vibe to it too.
