Live Colorfully Sunset

I like the original Live Colorfully so I grabbed some minis of the flankers. Unfortunately this is the one I liked least. I think the woody notes are too much here. It reads too much like soapy bug spray on my skin. The original smells very complex, warm, sunny, tropical and more expensive than it is. I feel like this one comes off a bit cheap. It almost seems like it would be a nice laundry/linen scent though. It’s just a bit too strong/harsh soapy for me. Maybe the freesia and cedar notes are throwing me off.

I have and really like Live Colorfully. Got this in a set of purse sprays with the original plus Walk on Air (which I gave to my teen daughter) and Walk on air Sunset. LC sunset isn’t bad by any means, it is a very sophisticated scent. It reads as a lot more mature than the original, something in it reminds me of some 90’s perfume I must have thought was very grown up and ladylike.... don’t know if it is the cedar in combination with the freesia..? It feels like Live Colorfully is a fun, vibrant woman and Sunset is her elegant, more restrained aunt. My personal taste leans towards younger, sweeter fragrances but I will wear this for certain occasions. Won’t purchase a full bottle though.

This fragrance is violet-dominant with a hint of freesia and a hairspray vibe 🌸💨. Just two sprays are enough to get a compliment, and it lasts a day on me. It’s a strong, floral scent that makes a noticeable impression without being overwhelming.
