Freedom Musk Latte | 41 Eau de Parfum

This just... wow. Thank you, Mona, for working on this one with the nose; wow. I am normally a major “NO THANKS” person when it comes to lavender, but when lavender is done right? OMG—it can be absolute perfection. And this is one of the best lavender layered scents ever. The other notes shine and balance everything so beautifully that it just works. This is a truly hyper-realistic latte fragrance, wrapped in this gorgeous perfumed, slightly soapy vibe. I had MMM Replica’s “Coffee Break,” and while I liked it, the lavender was way too heavy—it overshadowed everything else. Musk Latte is the opposite: the lavender is a supporting character, soft and atmospheric, not loud. Musk Latte is gorgeous from the very first spray all the way to the extremely long dry-down. It has the best longevity of the four, although Musk Santal comes very close. Both linger forever on me—but Musk Latte clings to my skin and clothes longer than any of the others. This is my kind of Kayali moment: that feeling when I sniff a new release and immediately start obsessing. I honestly haven’t done that since Elixir 11, which is my signature Kayali scent. Musk Latte is easily in my top 10 Kayali fragrances, and I am so, so, so, so hoping for a larger bottle to become a future release! On my skin, this is pure perfection. I love smelling it, I love wearing it, and I will enjoy reaching for this every chance I get. 10 out of 10.

the first time i applied it i was trying to figure out what it reminded me of, and i realised it smells like a softer and muskier version of coffee break by replica. i think if you love coffee break then getting this one is kind of redundant, but if you like the dna of coffee break but want something a bit softer then you might love this. i fall into the latter so will be getting a full sized bottle, but you really don’t need both

Love at first sniff. The dry down is my favourite part. It has a soft creamy feel to it that smells like a bedtime luxury lotion that smells clean and milky. As it dries down it becomes warm and borderline gourmand. Has that warm mess from Ellish by Billie Ellish (gold bottle). They don’t smell the same but that warm cosy buttery smell is giving the same vibe. Using up my travel size but already looking at full bottle purchase

Hello my friends 🧡. This is a deep musky levander chocolate rose mix that with time it settles down on the skin as a very sensual addictive scent that i think is a genius perfume with perfect performance and a story to tell that is very seductive. I like it a lot and it has the dna of a niche perfume. It maybe feels a little bit unisex so you have to test it.

I thought beforehand that this would be my least favorite from the collection but it ended up being my number one by far! This might be the first Kayali for a while that I need a bottle of (or atleast the 10ml they're offering). Woody, slightly chocolate-y and latte-ish but for me there's just enough of everything. Warm and comforting 🥰

My favorite fragrance!! I get nice compliments on it; it smells good from the initial spray through the dry-down. This chocolate and musk base is such a great balance to the latte note. It has this milk scent in it that smells so nice and creamy! Sorry, I'm bad at reviews. I just love this scent :)

Love, love, love. This would be perfect on a man but it's too beautiful to be ONLY for men. At first I do smell pencil shavings, but it dries down to warm, spicy, sweet, coziness. It brings back memories of things that never happened. Don't ask for an explanation on that one.😄

Kayali has impressed me with this Freedom collection so far. This is a spicy, MUSKY take on coffee but somehow it works so well. It smells like an artisanal coffee shop. Whyyyy these are not in full bottles I have no clue because they are really beautifully done.

This is indulging to say the least, and probably my new favorite Kayali. Well-rounded, delicately strong, powdery, sweet and musky; with just a hint of coffee and cocoa to make it gourmand. I can't absolutely wait to get the 50ml!

Definitely my favorite out of this line! It’s very smooth, and you can definitely smell coffee at first spray- although it’s not overpowering. The dry down is GORGEOUS; it’s quite woodsy in a natural way, with a hint of vanilla.

I was expecting something else, I do like this one but it is so similar to coffee break. The difference is the lavender is lighter and it dries down to a soft chocolatey musk - which I do enjoy.

This is so good. I love this lavender and latte vibe. It has good longevity and its comforting for me. Wish it has a little bit more latte.

This is a very nice low key chocolate scent. It’s not overly sweet but very nice!

To me this smells like Gypsy Water + Coffee Break. 😍

I’m saddened to say that Freedom Musk Latte is another disappointment for me. Yes, it smells for a few minutes of some faint traces of dark chocolate and latte, but then it’s just another aromatic, warm floral. Lavender, rose, and some woods and not much else! Mainly a soft, warm rose scent, nothing related to coffee or dark chocolate beverage to find here. And so faint! What a let down!! I am starting to think that this collection was made for skin scent lovers and people who barely tolerate perfume, because there’s not much going on with any of them. With the last one tested from the Freedom Musk collection, I can happily say that I don’t need any of these four scents in my personal collection because they’re very generic, poor performing and expensive for what they offer. Nice scents, but for young or new to perfumery people!

I agree this is similar to Coffee Break, especially in the opening. On the drydown it's more woody and spicy, a bit less sweet. I'm glad, because I love Coffee Break and for some reason it's getting harder to buy it in my country, at the moment I can only find the 100 ml, which I don't need a 100 ml of any fragrance at the moment. So I don't know, they might be discontinuing it, either way, I'm glad I found this, even though it's not dupe territory, it's pretty close, and even if it wasn't I would still like this fragrance. This was the last I tried from the Freedom Musk collection and I was pleasantly surprised I liked all of them. I might consider buying the mini set, but if I had to choose one, I would choose Freedom Musk Latte

I got the Freedom Musk sample set, and I put off trying this one because I hated Musk Matcha- the warm milk mixed with nuts gave me a visceral reaction. Since this one has "latte" in its name, I was prepared to scrub it off. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The milk note is not nearly as prominent as in the matcha one and the coffee was soft and light. It's like a super-toned down and softer version of Black Opium- like if they released a flanker called something like "Black Opium Lumiere" as a clean girl skin scent version of the original. As with all of them in this line, I don't really get where the musk is. I would never smell this and think "that's musky." Still, it's not bad, though I wouldn't buy a bottle of it myself.

Quite fond of it, though I wish it lasted longer. Haven’t smelled Coffee Break recently enough to give input on how similar it is. Didn’t get any of the coffee of this one on paper, but it was there on my skin, much to my delight. <3 It didn’t particularly wow me, but I’d definitely like to own a mini of it. Insanely scrumptious on my clothes (mostly chocolate there, but not too sweet). I think I could eat my sweater. Update: Def similar to Coffee Break, but this is way less lavender forward. I’d honestly say I prefer this one purely in terms of the scent; I can’t testify to how they compare longevity-wise.

No where near like coffee break coffee break is smooth and creamy and more coffee forward and takes you in a story of a coffee shop with creaminess and like your sitting next to someone with aftershave and cream In The air and coffee brewing. This is more musky and light and clean smelling and sweet with some chocolate with less coffee. I don’t personally see the comparison and you can own the two and not have one be redundant. I still prefer coffee break for a cozy scent and this one as a more musk scent. Does have good longevity for an Kayali. And is a nice dry down. For a musk vanilla type scent.

This is what I was expecting the Sabrina Carpenter fragrance (in the blue bottle) to smell like! The latte note is really predominant on my skin, but there's also an insence layer too, which im not mad about, i can see how this wouldnt be everyones cup of...Latte lol Its not sickeningly sweet, just a really nice all-around fragrance in my opinion, good for the cooler waether, though might get a bit weird in the summer, ill have to wait and see. Longevity can be hit or miss with Kayali so ill update in a few days. I think id get a full size of this if it was available.
