Oudgasm Tobacco Oud | 04 Eau de Parfum Intense

My Kayali Oud Collection came in. I watched every single YouTube video and NOTHING prepared me for what I actually smelled. I wanted to know if a person wasnt into oud, should we be afraid of the collection. These are all classic Kayali DNA fragrances. Those who are typically underwhelmed with Kayali, you'll be underwhelmed again. Kayali lovers will find happiness once again. These are all BEGINNER friendly ouds. The black bottles werent necessary. They are all soft skin scents. These are crowd pleasing and nothing is off putting even if it isnt your cup of tea per se. My favorite is Vanilla Oud. They honestly didn't even need to call it oud bc you cant detect it at all. Its a soft pretty dainty skin scent. Is it groundbreaking? No! Does it need to be? No! McDonald's isnt extraordinary either but they are still #1. I want a full bottle of the Vanilla Oud. Kayali is famous for their vanillas and they nailed it once again right here. Tobacco Oud: This is my 2nd favorite and I also want a full bottle of it. It sort of reminds me of a baby Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. Although this one has supposedly the most intensity of oud, it's still a very elementary level of oud and very safe to move product for the masses. The opening isn't that great but the mid is addictive and the drydown after 2-3 hours is a baby candy sweet vanilla with lace and glitter femininity. Cafe Oud: Im a coffee fragrance lover. I own Delox from Tiziana Terenzi. I love the coffee in Bond No 9 New York Nights & New Haarlem. I also love the coffee in Followed by Kerosene. Cafe Oud unfortunately missed the mark. It smelled stale on me. Not an old stale smell but something that just recently went stale. Rose Oud: Im not typically into rose so to no surprise this didnt work for me either. I would imagine rose ppl would appreciate this one. I do like the rose in the new Carmina by CREED interestingly enough. Kayali gets both a lot of love and hate. (That's what happens when you're on top!) I am a Kayali fan. Strong, warm tobacco. Fresh leathery saffron. Florals, Oud. Once I read honey, I totally smell it. That’s at the top keeping the tobacco sweet. It does disappear by the mid. Clove is present to give it a warm spice. I’m a big fan of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Oud Wood. This combines those main notes into something unique. So many are marking this as masculine... I’d agree it does lean just over unsex to slightly masculine but not in a way that will stop me from wearing it. It’s unisex enough that I would still label it unisex. There is a sweetness but not as strong as Vanilla Oud. It’s keeping the balance without swaying it gourmand. It’s subtle enough that I wouldn’t be able to pinpoint each sweet note/accord. The tobacco is so strong that it’s the main thing you’ll smell and drowns out the other notes. Overall, it is a strong, long-lasting unisex fragrance that is best suited for fall and winter. It has quite a luxurious feeling, so I would choose it for going out.

Update**This is addicting layered with Vanilla Oud. I cannot stop wearing this combination!** I am a bit surprised how much I enjoy this fragrance. In my opinion, this is the most masculine but it has a sweetness/softness to it that makes it addicting/enchanting. To my nose it’s soft but heavy at the same time. It almost plays a trick on you. It’s the strongest, longest lasting out of the collection. I kept smelling my wrists...I was intrigued/slowly falling in love. I love this fragrance and I am happy to have the mini size but I would prefer to smell this on a man. To make it more wearable for me and my preference, I would layer this with Vanilla Oud!

This is such a yummy tobacco scent. It's definitely unisex. I get that almost fruity tobacco note that's in Tobacco Vanille. Despite that, the 2 are very different scents. The honey note is quite noticeable with saffron and clove, giving it something somewhat spicy. I don't feel like this is a heavy oud. The oud is there, but it's in the background. I adore this fragrance for cold days. It creates a scent bubble to keep you warm. If you like tabocco dominant fragrances, this is worth a try. Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 7/10 Overall Experience: 8/10

Sooo so so gorgeous and intoxicating. This is my favourite from the Oudgasm line, closely followed by the rose. This reminds me of TF Tobacco Oud which is discontinued and I've been missing it ever since! This is more feminine tho, slightly. Clearly I am in the minority but this scent profile is amazing and so me<3 I would wear this every day I find it so sexy, edgy, and it just blends with my chemistry so well. The performance is EXCELLENT!

Just pure honey and tobacco! Sure it has an ever so slight oud in the background, but it's mainly just honey and tobacco. The tobacco is more prominent, unlike in other popular honey+tobacco fragrances out there. Some may say it's a maple like tobacco similar to the dry down of Amouage's Royal Tobacco. Great performance overall, both in terms of longevity and projection.

This reminds me a lot of one of my favourite perfumes, Christian Dior Tobacolor. Tobacco oud is on the same wavelength, just a touch more masculine, and the tobacco is a bit more prominent. Tobacolor is sweeter. Imagine an ashtray and honey but in a really nice and comforting way. My favourite out of the bunch

It is an incredible tobacco fragrance! The tobacco in here is like the note in Red Tobacco but not as harsh. It's very complex and deep. If you like tobacco fragrances you will LOVE this! I have a sample and it went right onto the BUY list. I cannot say enough good things about this.

Easily my favorite of the bunch—this one I love. Sweet tobacco with a slight spice. Good lasting power. Addictive. If you like unisex tobacco scents, it’s worth checking out.

This one is the one I thought I would like the least and it's actually my favorite from the Oudgasm collection! It's definitely sweet but to my nose I get a 75% wet tobacco and 25% dry tobacco blend with praline and a subtle citrus bite. Smoky with a beautiful vanillic base. I adore it! I love sweet fragrances, I just don't enjoy wearing them.. does that make sense? but this one is magnificent! Performance is fantastic. It's the 2nd longest lasting from this collection, vanilla being the one with the best. I think this is unisex. Some women might think it leans masculine but I could also see some men thinking this leans more feminine (because of the sweetness). Perfect for fall/winter. Day or night. 👍 Update: after wearing this all day, my scent memory was picking up on Opus XIV – Royal Tobacco by Amouage but a much wearable version!! 🤯 (it's a good thing because Opus XIV was waaaay too intense for me)

The most masculine leaning of the Oudgasm collection. Even though I thoroughly enjoy the scent (love a spicy tobacco note), I probably wouldn’t wear it on its own. However, it does great at toning down my too-sweet perfumes that would otherwise give me a headache, and giving them a wonderful depth. It’s quite a magical tool for reviving fragrances I otherwise wouldn’t touch. 2025 edit: I’ve been craving tobacco scents lately, so I started wearing this perfume on its own, and I like it more and more each time. It sure packs a punch! I can’t pinpoint the individual notes, I just know that the blend really works for me.

I'm still learning to enjoy tobacco perfumes. I own tobacco vanille by Tom Ford and jazz club. Tobacco vanille is by far the dryest and strongest of the bunch. Tobacco oudgasm is a great "beginner" tobacco perfume. The white honey saves it from becoming too deep or dirty. There is some sweetness and feminity to this one. I like it. A great fall perfume. Fall perfumes are my favorite! So if you are looking to dip your toes into the world of tobacco perfume, this is a great place to start!

The best out of the collection. The tobacco note is prominent but without the dried fruit in TFTV which makes it younger and more unisex to me. In the other versions I’ve tried I don’t get much oud but here it is prominent but not aggressive. It’s rich and warm and spicy. I don’t even get a hint of citrus or plum but for me that’s a plus. My favorite from Kayali and I’ve tried most of their frags.

Well, well, well...finally a Kayali which lasts. I put this on my wrists before bed and could still smell it clearly in the morning. It’s a sweet honey tobacco, which I quite enjoy as a sample, but not enough to buy a bottle of. It’s a weak version of a Middle Eastern oud, perfect for people who wish to dip a toe but not take the plunge. Commercialised and pretty, but not a blinder.

This one really surprised me! I get a really nice bright citrus in the opening and some soft vanilla and sweet tobacco along with the oud. It's a lot softer than I thought it was going to be and has given me the opportunity to explore a scent profile I don't have a lot of experience with. The performance is nice with 6+ hours on my skin and a moderate projection.

Tobacco Oud isn’t quite to my taste—there’s something in the opening that doesn’t sit well with me. However, the dry down is surprisingly lovely and much softer than expected. I’m hoping to get more use out of it by experimenting with different layering combinations to bring out the best in it.

Oh, so many wonderful notes listed but does not translate on the skin. Initially it opens up with some promise and intensity but quickly becomes a slightly heavy tobacco mess. I really expected more from the house of Kayali. I adore so many others from their range. Tobacco, honey and cloves are the 3 most prominent notes that I pick up. It reminds me of the waft of a jacket an older man who smokes heavily would smell like. Very vintage as well and not for everyone. Unisex definitely. Will try to soften it with layering of other fragrances in my collection. I might add the vanilla oud and see if that gives it a friendly tone. Do not blind buy this new range. 5/10

I like how playful this fragrance is, Love this sweetness of the honey, it can be perceived as gourmand but the complexity of the Oud and burning sensation takes it on another level, very Sexy. Would wear it for a date night, or a special occasion around winter, almost for Christmas.

This is a sweet tobacco fragrance but don't expect any other note on the skin bar a little bit of orange and saffron. The tobacco style is the same used in Invite Only Amber but it leans very masculine.

All I smell is patchouli and clove. Distasteful.I blind bought a travel and would not purchase a full bottle.

I recently purchased Kayali "Oudgasm Cafe 19" and the retail perfumer sent Oudgasm "Tobacco Oud 04" by mistake. I've owned and worn a few tobacco fragrances. And I've owned and like a few Kayali fragrances. I like tobacco flower, the leaf, the plant more so than a "smoking," or "burnt" tobacco accord. The retailer offered 60% off the list price for Oudgasm Tobacco Oud if I wished to keep it (versus return it). Despite the generous discount, I returned the bottle minus a few spritzs. This fragrance is an absolute NO for me. As others have clearly stated on various fragrance sites, the opening is a pleasant enough, albeit a synthetic, slightly sweet, tobacco-ish accord. But within 3-5 minutes, an acrid, rancid mid-note appears, which I suppose is some type of oud, or synthetic oud note AND saffron. The presence of this "oud" note is extremely unpleasant and so unbalanced, it positively overpowers the entire development of the fragrance... This "oud" note, along with the plum + saffron + geranium + clove + vanilla + praline + whatever else is thrown in this fragrance is nauseating. At one point during the development, I thought I'd better scrub if I did not want to become ill. To my nose, this fragrance is confusing and unpleasant. There's just way too much going on with the fragrance notes and accords, which seem to be working in all different directions. The perfume is poorly balanced, poorly blended. About 20-30 minutes in, the intense, fecal, oud & saffron & benzoin notes pass/minimize. The fragrance lands as a semi-sweet, woody, vanila-oud mess. I like some Kayali fragrances but this stuff is not good at all.

This perfume is what made me realize tobacco is not for me. This is not a bad scent at all, but tobacco just has this weird bad breath (coffee breath?) aspect to it that I cannot get over. Felt the same about almost all tobacco forward fragrances I’ve tried. This does get points for longevity though. I could smell this forever, even after washing my wrist.

I love tobacco scents. But this was too much it smelled not good. I took it back. It was pure yuck. The girl at Sephora smelled it when I told her it was way too strong and smelled and the had a look on her face after smelling it and agreed with me. No thanks.

Liked it at first, but was too much for me as it dried down. Too sweet, fruity and overloaded. Projects strong and stays for a while. Rather feminine, and for younger audience

Straight up oud for happiness or oud for greatness by initio .

As I am still hunting down for the perfect seductive sweet oud fragrance that I can wear for formal occasions, I stumbled upon the Oudgasm line of Kayali. Based on the notes I like, I thought that the Tobacco Oud one would be the best for me. I blind bought it and was excited to smell it, thinking it was gonna be a sweet, fruity tobacco-y oud fragrance but unfornately this smells terrible. It's not that often that I don't like oud fragrances but this one smells nasty. In the opening it smells like sweet bakhoor (traditional oud incense) which I like the smell of but not as a perfume, but then when the fragrance started to dry down, holy crap it stank so bad. I remember I smelled it again and I fully gagged... It's not often that I get such a strong reaction to a fragrance but this one ain't it for me. Final rating 3/10

This was my favourite from the Oudgasm range. It’s sweet but not by Kayali standards not sugary. Suitable for men. It’s extremely similar to Tobacolor by Dior but doesn’t project as well or last as long as Tobacolor and the dry down has a distinctly sour note which I don't like.

Alright, I have all 4 from this collection, to test (decants or mini bottles) and like the person who left the review below mine, I too watched a ton of YouTube reviews to try and prepare for what these will be like. And like her, these too did not help prepare me for what I've experienced... TOBACCO - The one that was talked about as being the "strongest" and having the "most oud" and even "more masculine" -- is actually my favorite! I find this to be a beautiful Unisex fragrance. Similar to Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille in some ways, but this would actually be the "feminine-leaning" version... Very smooth, cinnamon spicy & sweet woodsy vanilla-tobacco. Nothing overwhelming at all. And in fact I can not detect any oud, this comes off more "woody" than actual "oud". I expected to be knocked on my a** from how some people described it. But no - this is very tame for being an "oud tobacco" but also very lovely, comforting, addictive... And definitely not "masculine-leaning" as far as tobacco-forward fragrances are concerned. This will wear beautifully on a woman. And I will be buying a full-size bottle, only buying on sale though because I think this whole collection is very over-priced (especially for 50ML bottles). VANILLA - this is softer for a vanilla/oud combo. The oud being soft again, a little more detectable as "oud" but still comes off more just like a "woody" note... I've been looking high and low for great vanilla/oud perfumes! And this is pretty! It's not as light as I thought I would get, when I first sprayed it - but then it does quickly die down to be closer to the skin. I oversprayed it yesterday and gave a full-wear and for the first 2 hours I could smell it on myself some. I imagine others could smell it easier on me* for even a few hours after that... I do like it, but it is a powdery-musky semi-sweet vanilla/oud (definitely NOT gourmand btw). And that in itself can get tiring. I enjoy Montale's Dark Vanilla more than this and recently picked a 3.3 fl oz bottle up for only $60. I also have other woody-vanillas I absolutely adore, so I don't see myself wanting a full-size (1.7 fl oz) bottle of this. Still testing though... ROSE - smells ok. I enjoy some rose fragrances and this isn't WOW'ing me at all. I have smelled cheapie Middle Eastern rose perfumes that I enjoy more than this one. I even enjoy some Montale/Mancera roses more than this (Rose Greedy is great!)... but for the price that Kayali is asking - I expect a Parfums De Marly-quality rose perfume or Initio Atomic Rose and this just isn't giving that. This smells safe and boring and redundant in the world of rose fragrances, but at an extremely high markup (paying for the "Kayali" hype). It just smells like a musky rose, maybe some woods in the background?... Oud where?? CAFE - my least favorite. I had the highest hopes for this one, based on the reviews. I expected an almost-gourmand type of coffee-oud fragrance. But no. This comes off smelling more citrus-fruit forward, with a side of rose. It is very reminiscent of Fenty, just a lighter version. Would be completely believable as a flanker of Fenty: "Fenty eau de toliette". And I love the Fenty perfume! But Fenty smells better than this, is more nuanced, and I already own it... I don't smell coffee in this. If it's in there, it's being covered up by the other notes. And oud?? No, none of that here. Very disappointed. These are all very VERY safe renditions of Oud Fragrances, so-much-so that you can hardly even smell ANY oud in them. Overall this is watered-down, to appeal to mass-market. Glad to have found at least 1 that I adore though.

I fell in love with Tobacolor by Dior. I was chasing another scent from the collection. Sampling left and right. Made the mistake of sampling Tobacolor. Completely put me off the hunt and I became obsessed with all things tobacco. I had already tried and owned some of the greats. Vanille Havane way before it became popular. Tobacco Vanille which turned me off from further tobacco scents. Yet, I was intrigued by Havana Gold by Dries. Only the notes from that scent as I hadn't tried it long enough to like it until recently. Havana Gold reminded me of Tobacolor as well but it went a different direction in the mid and dry down. Becoming amber star anise. Originally I saw Kayali's oud while looking at the website. I wasn't interested in any of the scents. Burnt out on Rose Oud (until today when trying Santal Pao Rosa by Guerlain), and turned off from Coffee notes (except for cappuccino if its realistic and steaming hot). So, I decided to find some locally. It wasn't what I expected, cheap overtly femme scent. I decided to try this coming here to see reviews. I was astonished when I saw Tobacolor in the similar tab. I said "yeah right" and ordered a bundle. I opened the box and took the lid off the bakhoor. Wait.... the people were right for once? No glaze? Sprayed the fb, same thing... can't be! Its freaking Tobacolor by Christian dang Dior. Its 80%.... no wait 90%.. nah 80%. Its stronger than Dior. I'm pressed to find a 200ml batched before 2024. When I have access to the scent for free? Your shi*ing me right? Worth the price, worth more. Bump up the prices Mona!! Buy it! Try it for yourself. $32 bucks for a 10ml cute bottle. Y not?

I'm not a fan of Kayali to put it mildly. I think this is an overrated, overpriced house who bring out pot pourie fragrances and ask an arm and a leg for it. However, I did somewhat like this one. A little. It is in the same ballpark as Tobacco Vanille (hate that one) but let it be clear, it is in no way a dupe or even similar. Just VIBE. For me it was unisex but a bit too masculine for what i was looking for. I'm more into vanilla musky scents these days. Tried all of them and only liked oudgasm vanille enough to consider a purchase. I could clearly smell the oud but it is a friendly clean oud like in Oud Wood TF or accord oud from Byredo and yes, it's soft, not in your face at all. The vanilla is lovely and not gourmand to me, which I liked for this fragrance. The thing is, it is very soft. The performance is lacking and it became a skinscent super fast. Even on the blotter it has almost left the building after only a few hours (4) and I do not like the deep deep drydown scent, too dirty. Anyway, the lasting power I find quite appaling for the price. Obvi first impression so...you know they suck, lol. Anyway, not for me. I can't be bothered to post this one by the correct fragrance today. You'll just have to forgive me for that. Edit: an official review suggest this is a monster. Well, not the one spray on my skin nor on blotter. Hardly sensory overload. No way this is a monster.

unisex tobacco scent. Idk how I feel about it yet.. I dislike bit also really like it??? I don't like it on its own because it smells like vape or hookah smoke (i dont want to smell like I had just taken a smoke break). Applied lightly and layered with either a sweet fruit or gourmand smells- I really like it w Blood Lily by Ayat. It's very strong when first applied. Will wear for about 4hrs before reapplying. I've only tested in warm weather so it may perform differently in the winter. I really like that kayali leaned into the ouds in the collection, they all smell like standard arab perfumes and I love that. I'm tired of the same generic notes in department stores.

I don't know why they must put clove in every tobacco fragrance, and I don't know if I don't like tobacco, clove, or just the combo-but I know for sure I do not care for the combination. For that reason, I cannot judge this honestly. I really do not like this combo-at all. It actually makes me feel ill and is the only thing I've ever washed off me because I found it nauseating. Same reaction as I had with Amber Oud Tobacco. The only other note that really turns me off is a gasoline note. I don't particular care for eucalyptus/camphor notes either, but I am open minded and keep trying new things-sometimes you win some and others you lose and this was a big fat no.

The opening spray is rather pleasant and spiced, but once it settles, I don’t know if. It’s the. Oud, Sage, or patchouli or the combo of 2 or all three, but I’m getting something sort of leathery. That leathery smell reminds me of the actual leather (and maybe oud) notes in London by Widian. I’ll have to see if this grows on me or not. I only have 5ml but that’s definitely more than enough to fully test it out. *update... DUH I didn’t remember the saffron note which is known to come off leathery in certain formulations. Makes perfect sense now in conjunction with the other notes.

This is genuinely amazing. Stayed away from the brand because it seems to be heavily female influencer driven, but happened across their stall in Dubai mall. Tried the entire Oudgasm line, and this? Wow. It literally smells like exquisitely flavoured shisha / hookah with a really resinous tobacco. The fruity nuisances dance around the composition. After letting it dry down after a day, I was straight back to purchase it.

My boyfriend’s reaction was “ugh what smells like old lady “ .... And this is a guy who loves Lavender scents so it must be bad as never really reacts negative to any of my perfume . I also tried to love it as I love the dry down but the opening is not for me I’m on a mission to use all 114 bottles of perfume I own before buying a new one so that’s bottle 3/114 also gave this one to a work colleague.

There is something animalistic and incredibly sexy about oud perfumes. From the very beginning your nose is exposed to strong sensations built up by strong spices. Honey and plum penetrates your skin building a base for intense tabacco that plays the main role in a blend. I would say this fragrance adapts to your natural scent and enhances it, making it addictive and erogenous.

I have gotten some very strong reactions from this fragrance and they haven't been good. The tobacco note is there but it is drowned out by what I'm assuming is the oud wood note? Either way it smells way too middle-Eastern. I can't even give this fragrance away at work and I work with 20 different women. They all say it smells too strong and smokey. A definite miss for me.

Unfortunately, this is the first unappealing fragrance I've encountered from Kayali. The scent is far too bitter. The tobacco is very strong & overbearing, cannot detect any vanilla & saffron at all.If only it had similarities to Tom Ford Tobacco Oud as it smells divine & the Tobacco is not overwhelming.

Bold for the house but quite safe if you’re experienced with oud. It’s there but honey and praline sweeten it up. It’s the most masculine of the collection and it reminds me of the tobacco in tobacco vanille by Tom Ford I wouldn’t say this is a dupe for it though

I like tobacco. I even like more masculine leaning fragrances such as Naxos. But this is invite only, with tobacco and something salty almost urine like I sometimes get this from lavander, but here must be the sage. Hard pass

I LOVE this. The full bottle feels a bit overpriced for 50 mL but now I’m so tempted to grab it. This smells a shisha bar in the best way possible. The only downside it might make you fall off the wagon if you quit

Heavy on the tobacco and the oud, true to its name. I thought I was going to like this one must out of the line, but it was actually the Café Oud.

Think black phantom by kilian add ashy tobacco to it, that's the vibe you'll get, a try before you buy
