Bois Satin

This is my very first review on a perfume. And even though I now own some niche perfumes, I decided to dedicate this review to Bois Satin. My adventure with niche parfumes started not long ago, actually it is quite a recent experience. You know, I was a macho - and only would use male brand perfumes. So Unisex, was not a word I wanted describe my perfumes with. But then all changed, and now, niche perfumes are close to my heart, and unisex is a word I now proudly use on my niche perfumes. So now right to the point. Bois Satin by Keiko Mecheri. I don't yet own it. It is on my "I want' list, but I ordered several perfume samples from LuckyScent. Among them, this one. Notes, you already have them, so this is review is based on my personal opinion about Bois Satin. It is just, beautiful. Calming. Sticky sweet? Well, it might be a subjective opinion. I am not into sweet fragrances, and even thought this is, yes, sweet, it is not teenager sweet. It is mature sweet, if I can say it this way. It causes admiration, while you are wearing it. This is one of those perfumes which created in my mind a paradigm change, and allowed me to admire and buy to myself, unisex perfumes. I really give thanks to Keiko Mecheri, for not just creating this beauty, but also for the part she played in my perfume worldview. Scent : 10 Longevity: 10 (on my skin it last several hours) Sillage: 9/5 It is worth every penny.

Beautiful!!! Sooo beauuuutifully sweet!!!! I love it. I love sweet perfumes, and this one is one of the best! Such gorgeous divine vanilla, and leather, and gorgeous woods, with delicious tangy and sweet mandarine, especially at the start, but it stays and melds with everything, giving the perfume a rich glorious zing, like a spicy orange syrup! But the perfume gradually changes and becomes more florally (gorgeous flowers! Rose, jasmine, saffron!!) and then deeply woodsy, and that's where the gorgeous leather shows itself more too, along with the divine amber smoothness!!! It's absolutely divine!!! Vanilla and woods is the main part of the dry down, which lasts very well on me - a good 10 hours, and I get so many many compliments!!! Especially from my beloved one!!! It's one of my very favourite perfumes!!!!

Spicy,woody,and modern. Bois Satin is a perfume apparently simple,but it is not. Warm scent,very woody and slightly sweet (in the distance). It 'a warm and elegant perfume,like suede note that harmonizes perfectly with the other..is a woody/vanilla balanced, with a background of vanilla and leather. The sillage is normal, but very good longevity (10+h). This parfum for me is more suitable for the cold months... not bad. Recommend. Sillage: 7/10 Longevity: 8/10 Scent: 8/10 Overall: 8/10

Love it! It's a pure winter perfume that strenghtens it's qualities with minus temperatures and up to about below ten. The dominant notes are suede and vanilla, mixing together in a warm cocoon around you. Meanwhile the floral notes are served sparingly and in some way quietly, changing in mood, warmth and juiciness the suede - vanilla union. It's such a pleasure and fun discovering them through the time. Gorgeous scent and excellent job!

I dab back of my both hand today at midday. Mandarin orange is very obvious at the first hour. There's almost no sillage. And after 3 hours I can barely smell it only when I sniff the back of my hand.. The combination of bourbon vanilla - mandarin and Suede reminded me the same effect that I get from Fahrenheit The Parfum which has released 2014. If I have to choose one I'll go with the Dior's flanker.

Nice fragrance. I get mostly the smell of slightly sweet, and a little spicy, woods. I would definitely purchase this if the sillage were better.
