Mankind Hero

Mankind Hero is the hottest and to clarify, this is the wife of the wearer. Just wow. It is the fresh, outdoorsy, yet refined, very manly and classy fragrance and better in those ways than I have ever imagined for a man like mine. I close my eyes and it's just us, hiking in our peaceful evergreen forest, and I'm walking hand in hand with my love when a fresh breeze sways the trees with a heavenly fresh scent. I'd guess the lavender is the fresh spicy component as there really is no pine in it at all! As a female fragrance addict, surprisingly enough, I haven't bought many-a-bottle for my husband and love of 24 years and counting. (More fragrance budget for me?) There have been a few through the years, maybe one fragrance per decade, and they were certainly adequate, and he was happy. AND THEN, I discovered this one shortly after he turned 40 years young. Mountain air accord- yes! My hero husband loves a good, remote mountain top so much that he eventually bought us one to live on. Fresh air, working hard and playing hard and time outdoors at home, filled with laughter and joyful moments with our children and me simply mean everything to him. What a capture of that amazing time this Mankind Hero is! Fresh and sweet at the opening, Italian lemon and coriander are delicious and fresh-smelling, clean and brisk but never sharp. Within minutes begins the classy husband scent trail that literally makes me follow through the house to find him. Disappointing when I trace incorrectly back to our room, where he dressed and sprayed himself two or three times and I've been fooled. In fact, he has wandered elsewhere in the minutes since then! Silage would not be offensive, but with one spray you may get a skin scent shortly thereafter. Two to three sprays and you've got silage for the first half hour to an hour that will get noticed, so be careful out there, boys! By a half hour, what fully develops is a, breathe-the-air-deeply-oh-my-goodness-he-smells-so-good, fresh and yet sultry plum wood/woods, and a balanced herbaceous and refined combination of both lavender and clary sage- I mostly detect brisk and herbaceous lavender. You want to talk about aromatherapy and calming lavender? At this point, I have found my love for sure, and am moving in for a hug and complimenting him on how good he smells! Breathing in deeply, I never really detect vanilla, but I think that must be the smoothness and sweetness of the mid-note blend which smooths out the herb and woods notes. Heavenly, heavenly, heavenly. The midnotes seem to last several hours on him, lucky me! An hour or two later, silage is dramatically decreased,and for the next few hours, I have to lean in close and the skin scent on his neck is warm, cozy, and gorgeous musk, warm woods, and sure, I do believe I can detect fresh forest moss. Such a handsome fragrance from opening to base notes! Lastly, while bottles don't seem to mean much to my man usually, when I gifted this to him (perhaps I gifted this to myself, in reality), he remarked upon opening it that the bottle's sides are leather trimmed and that it was "One of the coolest bottles" he'd ever seen. He was hoping he'd love the fragrance as much as the bottle, and he truly likes it even more. I am a hard sell for fragrance, and men's fragrances simply don't impress me much, but this one is a 10 for 10. P.S. Even the youngest our five children recognize this as "Daddy's Hero smell" now. Perfect for date night and handsome for suit-and-tie situations professionally, this is also fantastic for a day out (or home!)with friends or family, Mankind Hero seems the right choice for our hero husband and daddy. It is office safe (I would not use more than two sprays in that case) and I highly recommend this even as a blind buy, you probably can't go wrong. Figure you'll have decent silage for at least 4 hours, more skin scent in the last three hours, with traces of Hero for up to 12 hours very close. If you're needing to refresh between office and date night, bring the bottle along! If anyone sees you with it, they'll think it's the coolest- like a dark and mysterious bottle in a refined biker's jacket. Did I mention 10 for 10? I may have meant 11 for 10!

This is a very sexy scent... Must have in your collection, plus if you find it under $35... it's an easy blind buy. Worth it. I can't break the notes apart, i love it as a whole. And so do my coworkers, friends and family. It's a very good scent, for the price you get more than you paid for. Again a must have. Man this thing rocks, found a hidden gem... A must have people, a must have. Can't speak bad about this scent, not at all! I used six sprays...both wrist, back & front of my neck, chest and front of my shirt. Will I buy this again?...Yes. All the negative reviews on this one are just incorrect. People just stopping by to feel superior lol. This is a great scent. I saw a comment that said it smells like Boss Bottled. It doesn't smell like it but it has the same type of smooth airiness about it. This is a nice, kind of dark, smooth scent that really kind of puts you at ease when you smell it on skin or in the air. I hold this fragrance in very high regard and I also own quite a few of the top dogs in the fragrance world. BDC Parfum, Absolu Aventus, Aventus Cologne, Layton, Angels Share, etc. I enjoy Mankind Hero just as much as those. For me to describe it, it is like if you took Bond No 9 Lafayette Street(which I also have) and turned the volume down about half. Not a complete match but it feels within the same realm of scent. I've never had performance issues with it. It doesn't last as long as Spice Bomb Extreme but you can get a cool 5-ish hours give or take depending on where you spray. On my 3rd bottle of this stuff.

Punches way above its weight class as a cooler weather dumb-reach. That soft profile of the vanilla and fruity metallic ('mountain air?') mixing with the musk is SO delicious but in a 'I can't get enough' way rather than a 'woah that's a lot' way. Mildly unpleasant metallic opening (5 seconds). By the time you leave the washroom it's already reached an awesome fruity apple-lemon mixed with a less harsh metallic flavor to it, and with this wonderful soft vanilla note supporting it. As it dries down the vanilla and musk takes the center stage, and lasts for 5-6 hours. The drydown isn't obnoxious and is where most people told me I smelled great. If compliments are your measurement of success this performs better than BdC and Dylan Blue for me, and it's also less identifiable, making it a better signature scent.

Just bought this blind. I gotta tip my hat off to Hero. Honestly guys, this shit right here is some fire. And i mean that in the best way. I will start off by saying that this smells similar to Boss Bottled. They are 90% similar when they are first applied. However, Hero ends up being more fresh and airy, and has a slight metallic tinge. Boss Bottled is more spicey and gourmandish. Both are great in their own right. Overall, Hero is an extremely pleasant smell. The "mountain air" accord that's listed is nothing more than the opening fresh notes of lemon mixed with lavender. It does evoke a sense of fresh mountain air though. Almost like a walk through a mountain meadow in spring. I'm not disappointed that I bought it. Woman will drool over this, and it will draw compliments!! Enjoy ladies & gents. 8.5/10

Went to the mall and it blew me away when I smelled it on paper cause I was expecting something else. Sprayed it on my wrist and 5 hours later I was smelling the awesomeness! Purchased it the next day. Its not strong, nor does it last past 7 hours. For the 6 hours it lasts, it is a little more than a skin scent, it radiates just a little more than a skin scent would. Still, the only people who would smell it on you would have to be someone who is 2 feet away. This is pretty close to being the perfect office scent. I went with 4 sprays neck, back of the neck, forearms. Gotta say, this is a winner for what I am using it for. It might even jump out a little more in warmer weather although I would strictly use it for indoor office type setting or a casual mid spring, early fall scent. I give it a solid B

Awesome scent... Imagine a light powdery grape gum, not sweet, just the essence of it mixed with Mont Blanc Legend edt. I wanted to like MB Legend edt but it's scent is very fleeing & watered down. This is not exactly like it but there's a hint of it in there but semi powdery & not sweet. I remember when my father used to apply scented talc powder after a shower (Jovan Musk), this has a talc/powder feeling it. I give it an 8.5/10. Picked up the 6.7oz @ Fragrance X for $35! Can't beat the deal. More for fresh weather, not necessarily fall or winter but fresh summer/spring/fall nights or chilly/cold places, think of the route of a dark movie theater. I really like it & my wife does too.

This is one of the most versatile scents I've had. It's so wearable (all year round) and smells awesome. I had a small bottle of the original Mankind that came in a gift set. I didn't hate it, but I found it incredibly mediocre and a little too synthetic. This one really takes the DNA and makes it stand out so much more. The lemon, vanilla, and mountain air go together so well. Performance is also impressive. I'm not really sure where the Boss Bottled comparisons are coming from, though.

One of my favorite colognes to wear. Most frag vets hear the name Kenneth Cole & look down upon it without even smelling it 1st. It's a very rich, dark, powdery, vanilla, night time scent. I usually never buy fragrances out of stores but I couldn't wait so I bought the whole set at retail. You can find this easily online for $30 or less. The niche snobs will turn their nose up at it because it smells too good. They mostly only like dirty or polarizing scents. This one is a winner.

"Mankind Hero" is sweet, adorable and gentle in a very good way. It's not extremely special or "wow" but very elegant for office use and night out. I do like it. In fact, I bought 4 different scents last month and "Hero" was the one got the most compliments from co-workers. A girl even told me it smells like Bleu de Chanel - which is my signature scent. I give this 8/10. Very recommend. And the bottle is stunning! Perfect for a gift to boyfriend/father/brother/teacher/crush/etc.

Very clean and presentable scent. Suitable for semi formal occasion, school, or office wear in general. Inoffensive with warm vanilla undertone. I got it for a dirt cheap price, and could not be happier. It opens up with airy feeling (probably the mountain air) and followed by vanilla-citrus combination. It is not an overbearingly sweet fragrance. There is also a lavender notes that gives it a somewhat sophisticated edge. Overspray friendly. Overall an underrated gem.

Such a friendly, fun loving scent. This scent is the epitome of mass appealing, but that's a good thing. Today was my second day wearing it and I already received one of those compliments that turned in to conversation. She went gaga over this and she's a fraghead herself. One caveat though, I don't get the above average longevity and projection that other people talk about, but that probably has more to do with olfactory fatigue, which I suffer from.

WOW what am I smelling, just put it on for a night out. This is a deeper more refined Hugo Boss, almost goes tropical coconutty. Opening is 10 / 10, I love it. Easy to like. The longevity is there on clothes day after. But I definitely get nose blindness on this one. I don’t get the ”mountain air” color, it’s pretty vanillic sweet and leathery spicy. So a green and yellow scent with black/brown.

A few years ago I went into Macy’s to help my husband pick a wedding cologne while he was in a different store. It was surprisingly easy to narrow down a top 5 favorites for him to pick from and more surprisingly easy to secretly have a #1 favorite I hoped he’d chose. Lucky for me he did, and 4 years later I STILL swoon every time he wears it. This is sexy, intoxicating, and perfect.

This is one of my all time favorite everyday colognes as far as scent goes. It's extremely versatile, and smells absolutely amazing. However the performance is pretty weak. It has almost no projection/sillage after the first 30 minutes, and only lasts about 5-6 hours. I really wish KC would make it a bit stronger, or release an Eau de Parfum version.

Nose Note #361 Forget the notes, forget everything. This is practically Boss Bottled with minor changes. As far as performance goes it's also similar. Can it substitute Boss Bottled completely? Actually, I think it can. It's a good dupe! The OG is one of my most favourite fragrances and this is a gift - this rating doesn't lie

Another fragrance that the broken nose crew seems to have found. This like mankind before it smells great! I’m convinced that Those who don’t think so gotta have bad taste in fragrance. My only issue is that it doesn’t last long enough or project for enough since it’s an EDT.

Crisp, aromatic, soapy, vanilla scent. Smells similar to a nice light shaving cream. The amberwood gives it slightly playful, masculine base. Signature scent worthy stuff! 1 hour projection 4-6 hour longevity

An amazing cologne. Kenneth Cole always comes with great scents and this one is fantastic. Sweet Bubble Gum Mountain Air is how I would describe it. It's addicting and extremely versatile.

Lemon, vanilla and musk is all i smell from this and it's heavenly! I can't wait for my boyfriend to try this cologne!! It's very manly but smooth and a pinch of sweetness.

If someone asked me to name the most underrated fragrance it would be this one.

This is confident scent with a touch of class and maturity. It really reminds me of a toned down version of Mont Blanc Legend Spirit. It's not as bright and a bit more airy. If you felt MBL Spirit was too youthful, this offers something similar but more mature. A good scent for younger men wanting something more affordable while offering an option that is a bit more sophisticated and masculine and for older men who want something casual that maintains a bit of approachable unpretentious sophistication. But it's not a standout scent. It's an intimately conservative scent that will still get you noticed without making you the center of attention. It offers a manly ambience that would appeal more to the right kind of woman. It's sits somewhere between Sigma and Alpha. It's a great option for men who can rely on their looks. Imagine James Bond sitting in a bistro trying to grab a bit of public solitude while enjoying a book but leaving his female options open. Five or six spritzes on the skin with 2-3 on the clothes and you should get a 2-3 foot moderate projection. Environment-wise, it's more of an indoor fragrance that will work year around but during the fall and winter, it has a more morning or afternoon vibe. It's a very solid brunch, lunch or office scent. It's also a good for a, "Been dating for six months." spritzing. It's easy to see it as a reliable scent to wear for shopping, hanging out in a coffee shop, cafe or bookstore. It would really work for a "meet the inlaws/family" situation where you want to impress them but not distract them with your fragrance. On a scale of 1-10, for what it is, it's an 8 for me. It's a great quieter option in a beast mode era. It offers some casual sophistication and maturity in an age of pungent confection.

Mankind Hero is FRESH CLEAN CREAMY SWEET SLIGHTLY SPICY a combination of fresh sporty/aquatic (like CK Mankind Ultimate) + creamy sweetness with some spice which comes out more as it dries; isn't the smoothest fragrance, that 'mountain air" note adds a sharp metallic fresh ice cold (synthetic) feel, but it's not screechy or cheap smelling in the air. The citrus/lemon adds to the sharpness + plum wood adds sweetness creating a sharp/zesty-sweet accord that's not too overdone, never outdoing the fresh notes or the creamy vanilla which balances out the sharpness of the fragrance; I don't see many disliking the scent unless they don't like sweet frags. Versatile, fresh/clean and sweet, perfect for spring and fall day or night, not bold enough for low temps and too sweet for high heat but sweet enough for night wear; smells very similar to Thallium Sport however Mankind Hero is a little smoother. Projection/Sillage': LIGHT, aromatic with scent trail for the 1st hour or so then becomes an in-close scent thereafter Performance/Longevity: GREAT, 8-10 hours (on fabric)

Very solid scent from Kenneth Cole and I’d say this is my favorite scent from this house with my 2nd favorite being Reaction. This scent opens up with a nice lemon note mixed with a touch of lavender and vanilla and it stays pretty linear but in the drydown the vanilla and lavender take over making this a very pleasant,warm and inviting while at the same time being fresh and clean. I really enjoy this and right now I’m in between like and love but as much as I do like this I can’t say it’s a favorite right now. I think if this was more rich or had more vanilla this scent would be perfect ! Performance on this is quite good as well. It lasts 5-8 hours and has decent projection for 2 hours but it never becomes cloying or loud which would make this perfect for work in the colder months. Overall rating— 7.5 out of 10! Very good scent but unfortunately it’s only really good but nothing amazing. I’m still impressed with this though Also to my nose this smells like L”homme if it had vanilla in it :)

It is an impossible fragrance to dislike, but also an impossible fragrance to describe: • It is Fresh (lemon + Mountain Air) without being generic • It is Spicy (Coriander + Sage) without annoying • It is Sweet (Vanilla + Tonka ) without cloying Only criticism is that it is NOT unique. You get the sense you have smell this before. No (X) it DO NOT smell like apple pie Boss Bottle, but the semi-sweet vanilla drydown is similar. ************************ Best Kenneth Cole for me ************************ I smell many Kenneth Cole fragrances: Vintage, Vintage Black, Black Bold, and Mankind. I think Mankind Hero is the best, and it is a safe Blind-Buy.

I am a fan of the Boss Bottled line. I currently own Boss Bottled Intense, and I enjoy it. I just picked up Mankind Hero, and it definitely reminds me of BBI. I would essentially call it a fresher and, dare I say, more versatile version of BBI. Lavender is much more prominent than in BBI, which makes this thing very aromatic. However, it still retains a slightly rich sweetness from the vanilla and tonka bean, and the leather is a nice masculine touch. In testing this side-by-side with BBI, I actually prefer this! Its less of a gourmand; its enhanced freshness over BBI makes it a safer scent. I'm currently wearing it now for the first time, and I can already sense that projection is an issue...but I don't mind. This fragrance is meant to emit a pleasant scent bubble, not reach out and grab people. Obviously its not unique...but I don't believe that anyone who smells this on you won't find it really nice!

Another Citrus Lavendar...are we in the wrong decade? It's got Vanilla, so that's somewhat different right? Overall, this is a pleasing and playful scent. It's fresh and has a warm woody base (amber + vanilla) to ensure it will be an everyday workhorse for loyal KC wearers (Black and Reaction have a huge following). Projects about a foot away for 6 hours on 2 sprays. I have never been into Kenneth Cole; this fragrance is more pleasing than original Mankind, Black, vintage Black and Reaction to me. It's also the first Kenneth Cole I've wanted to keep in my collection. This reminds me of Mont Blanc Starwalker, but more fun and inviting and also Issey pour Homme Intense which I wasn't that into. The wife loves Starwalker and I'm almost sure she will love this too. This will compete with my Jimmy Choo Man for a spot in my year-round rotation though I'd say it's good for spring/fall day/night.

Smells very good and yet very familiar. A very smooth, slightly sweet/slightly citrusy fragrance. Glad that I was able to pinpoint what this reminded me of. At first I was reminded of Curve.. but I knew that Curve wasnt what this reminded me of completely. Moments later I had that eureka moment.. this smells like an updated/refreshed version of Jake by Hollister. Brings back memories of walking past the mall and knowing I couldnt afford to shop at that preppy store... also reminded me of all the attractive young girls that could fit in the clothes that store was marketing. This scent was the 'Fierce' of Hollister... the most recognized scent and trademark of Hollister. This addictive scent was like a wonderful song that ended up being overplayed... but now that much time has passed since I last smelled this (do they even make Jake anymore?).. this has been a welcome reintroduction.

6.5/10: I got this as a gift and initially didn’t like it. My wife however loves it and always complements me when I have it on( yes she picked it). She says it’s super fresh and smells amazing on my skin. I do like the dry down a lot but it dissipates quiet quickly. The open has a nice lemony smell but also a mountain freshness. It’s not unique as I’ve smelt this same blend on a discount brand that I can’t remember. The dry down turns quiet masculine and has a nice pop. I personally wouldn’t buy it again but I’m sure my wife will get me another bottle. Lol.

Tested this in the store and brought home the strip. It smells extremely similar to Boss Bottled. This also has a bit of Allure Homme Sport in it, which I think is the Lemon/Vanilla/Musk combo, and quite a bit of a laundry/drier sheet vibe which is from the Lavender. I purposely sprayed Boss Bottled and this on tester strips again and I'd say that this one out lasts and out projects Boss Bottled which seems to be watered down these days. Pretty good sweet-generic clean scent.

I like this scent. The vanilla makes it sweet, but not to much. Reminds me of a better performing version of Le Male....at least the same vibe...Its not nearly as spicy as boss bottled which I like also, but I can see why it is compared. I have Mankind, Mankind Ultimate and I don't really pick up the notes from them since the vanilla kind of takes this one over, much sweeter.....Reminds me of a deeper Le Male vibe.

All I'm going to say, it's a cheapie so I didn't expect to much when grabbing it at Burlington. Got it for $14.99. It checks all boxes for a good cheapie. Works for the office, gym and lounging around the house. Love the scent, wish it did perform better but, like I said, it's a cheapie. Great blind grab when running out the house for errands, not sure why all of the hate on it. It performs for what it is.

Kenneth Cole Mankind Hero Starts off Airy and starts to turn into a Lavender and slight Citrus scent; very aromatic. On the dry down you will get more of the Vanilla and Musk. Not good at all when it comes to longevity (2-4 hours) and projection only last 1 hour then turns to skins scent fast. Good fragrance for the gym so you can have a Fresh Lavender scent. Overall Rating 6/10

The smell of this one very warm vanilla , more on the sweets notes, but for sure not offensive. My wife really love it when I'm wearing it, so that's a good sign . I'm personally wearing it more for the evenings ,less suitable for the day to day use as I see it.

This actually transitions! Cool ozonic opening with a slight citrus, mid is an upgraded cool water then the whole thing developes to boss bottled. How is nobody talking about this? If you see this at your local discounter just grab it. Good stuff!

Reminds me of the old school Hollister fragrance Jake for some reason. It is an appealing scent and worth trying out. Harmless blind buy.

Solid fall/winter fragrance. Has depth. Present but pleasant.

Mankind hero is a fragrance that I think would work best as a springtime fragrance. It's a touch too sweet for summer but doesn't have the spicy sweet vibe I personally like in fall or winter. Now I'll get to describing the notes and who I think this could be for. First off, "Mountain Air" is a gimmick note. I think what they're trying to describe is how the loud the top projects in the first 15 minutes or so. This fragrance opens with primarily a very sour and loud lemon with a touch of lavender. How this equates to "mountain air" I really don't know. It doesn't smell bad at all though, it's a synthetic opening but it's not Windex lemon synthetic. After that strong, sour lemon fades away the fragrance starts to become heavier in the lavender and a woody background starts to show up. A little while longer as the lavender fades more, the vanilla starts to come out. It's not a super sweet vanilla, it's more of an aromatic incense vanilla. It's neat that a fragrance this cheap has a good bit of depth to it. The biggest turn off to this one for a lot of people is going to be it's strength. You'd be hard pressed to get more than 3 hours of this, it has almost 0 projection once the lemon fades and the whole thing is gone off skin within 3 hours. More subjectively, it's not really a fragrance I love either. I am a guy who typically loves a good vanilla fragrance, and I have worn this one a fair amount. I find that while it does smell pleasant but overall it's kind of boring. I think the person I'd recommend this fragrance to is someone who wants a dumb reach springtime fragrance on a very low budget. Similar fragrances: Montblanc Legend night is the most similar. Similar performance, projection, depth and scent profile. Legend Night is sweeter though. I also have to mention Eros as well, because both of Mankind Hero and Legend Night can be seen as fragrances that act as a cheaper, lower profile Eros. In conclusion, I don't hate that I bought this, but I don't think I'd make a glowing recommendation for it either. It's just alright.

What I get mainly is the lavender & what I’m guessing is the “mountain air” note. I can barely make out the citrus and a feint vanilla. The vanillas so soft it almost veers into sandalwood territory. The musk comes through after about 15mins and pretty much leaves you with a soapy/citrusy/light woody feel. It’s so subtle, it’s barely there. A total let down. Thank God it’s cheap. UPDATE: So I’ve been wearing this more & more & what I realized is that I needed to go heavy on the sprays so I could pick up the scent profile better. This is essentially an Apple flavored bubble gum with lavender. I pick up the sparkling apple you get from Boss bottled DNA and the bubblegum smell mentioned in previous reviews. It’s not very sweet or strong but it’s there. As mentioned before, good thing it’s inexpensive. I’ll keep it.

To my nose, this smells like a less floral version of Nikos Sculpture. Its got a slightly aquatic, citrus vibe mixed with some barbershop like spices and vanilla. There was some good hype on this for awhile, but i think its just a decent fragrance, not groundbreaking or unique. I'm not getting any boss bottled similarities to my nose because theres no apple pie vibe i'm smelling in this. This is a fairly sweet fragrance. Not sure what mountain air smells like? fresh? aquatic?. It's pretty versatile....but is very sweet to my nose. I got a 50ml bottle from Ross for $20. If you're just starting a collection, you may like this. For me, its kind of redundant and not that unique. Like i said, not a bad fragrance and this was a blind buy. Do i regret it? No. would i buy it again? Not Likely.

Kenneth Cole Mankind Hero has some of the DNA of OG Mankind with a twist Lavender and Vanilla moving this one to fougere territory, it is sweet without being too sweet, powdery and elegant geared toward evenings and colder weather. Overall a nice fragrance and safe blind buy. Longevity: 4-6 hours it stays longer on clothes Sillage : 2 hour (arms length) Value: Good $30 for 100ml

This is like a masculine-leaning lemony fresh laundry detergent/fabric softener. There is probably no reason to get this unless that is what you are looking for.

#148 in my "Tour de Fragrance" and this is a likeable scent at a very likeable price, and it's still over-priced. The longevity is a slight improvement over Kenneth Cole Black's awful performance, but it's still exceptionally awful, and like many EDTs in this price range expect to respray hourly. It's clean, mild, aromatic, not all that woody, the citrus is there, but almost undetectable. It really doesn't radiate for more than a few minutes, lasts an hour at most on skin and clothing. You really have got to pour it on, skin and clothing. But, it's a very nice scent while it lasts. If it would hold up for four to six hours I'd give it a love, which I can say about many KC scents (except Reaction which should only be worn by a melon, not a human). This scent might make it as a skin scent through a dinner date if you don't dilly-dally, but not much beyond, so be advised. My recommendation is if you already bought this and you shower before bed, that's a good time, probably the only time to bother using this scent, which may help keep you smelling shower fresh if you then work up a sweat, which is my hope for us all.

I wasn't going to review this one. I was just going to use it as a towel freshener and get rid of it quickly. I refuse to justify a bad purchase/frag by saying great things about it so I can feel better about spending the money on it. This scent, while you can smell it, is boring. Nothing special. It is very weak in longevity and projection. I wish folks would be honest in reviews for good or bad. I have some frags that are low longevity and that isn't a deal breaker because sometimes you want to change scent profiles for different occasions during the day. If this smelled worth a damn or had projection then perhaps I wouldn't have to be so harsh. I don't think KC even tries. This isn't the only KC I have had. Just a low performing brand as far as I am concerned. Most notes are undetectable. Its just a generic smell...that is brief.

This smells nice. Not too sharp citrusy nor too deep. But something makes it smell like it's punching my gut. I'm no expert in scent, so I'm really curious what it is. Based on the voted main notes above, is this the mountain air and/or lavender? When I sprayed this in the summer, it definitely gave nausea. But now in cooler weather, it smells nicer. Someone few comments below mentioned similarity to Starwalker. I don't get that at all. Starwalker is more straight forward for me, more solid, although more synthetic as well. Another cologne that gives me nausea is Perry Ellis 2018. And it's most voted note is lavender. I'm wondering now do cologne with main lavender notes tend to smell deep like this? I don't know how to describe the smell but it's like punching my upper stomach to the point of causing mild nausea.

Something in the cologne makes me nauseous. Perhaps it's the watery sweet vanillaic note..makes my stomach turn. I can see how it can be pleasant to some, maybe a good gym scent but it's not just for me. I'm probably going to give it away as I don't see myself wearing it.

This is watery trash! Sprayed 4 squirts in the box at Shopper's Drug Mart, nothing...three more on hand...barely smelled a thing...if anything at all. PASS.
