Ça Sent Beau

Ca Sent Beau was a replacement for the discontinued Kenzo by Kenzo, and because I didn’t want Kenzo replaced, I avoided it till now. But finally the level in my last bottle of Kenzo grew low, Ca Sent Beau itself became hard to find, and I panicked and got a bottle. So how does it compare? Well, to a nose accustomed to the first Kenzo, Ca Sent Beau smells a bit like the air-freshener version. Like a rough sketch, recognizable but simplistic, as though a gifted cartoonist dashed off a caricature of a famous painting. That said, the ‘caricature’ itself is pretty amazing, and there are plenty of reasons to be delighted it’s still around. For one, if you’ve heard much about the first Kenzo and want to know how it smells, you needn’t pay an extortionist price for a vintage bottle. Get Ca Sent Beau, and you’ll get a perfectly accurate idea, even if it will be deprived of the full depth and nuance. Likewise, if you loved the first perfume, you’ll certainly notice the differences, but considering that there’s nothing else that smells remotely alike, such a close relative is a treasure. And if you’re a casual buyer? Well, if the notes sound good to you, and if you’d like a highly original, impeccably crafted, easy to wear perfume for casual occasions, give it a try without worries that it might be dated. Unless you’re thoroughly committed to the esthetics of Iso E transparency, Ca Sent Beau is unlikely to strike you as ‘old.’ It’s more full-bodied than diaphanous, but it’s not dense, opaque, powdery, perfumey, aldehydic, flamboyantly baroque, or any of the other features usually thought of as old. In fact, despite its wonderfully unique refusal to conform to a category—one wants to call it a green-fruity-oriental-chypre and more—a quick and dirty classification would probably land it close to a modern fruitchouli. Take something like the current Miss Dior, make a couple of mental upgrades, and you’ll come close. Instead of Miss Dior’s fermented citruses, the fruity top note in Ca Sent Beau is sweet, succulent, and delicious. At times, it comes across as neither mandarin nor bergamot but a juicy, fresh pineapple. In the middle, where Miss Dior goes almost tooth-paste mentholated, Ca Sent Beau has much more going on. Its patchouli is camphoraceous and seasoned with a savory coriander-cumin note; it's possibly the fragrance's most distinctive pleasure. The fruity note morphs, just as it says on the tin, into peach laced with ylang; and non-screechy white flowers appear, most notably, a tuberose, so lovely it will haunt you even if you’ve known more famous tuberose scents. The drydown is where Ca Sent Beau suffers the most from the comparison with the first Kenzo. Rich in sandalwood and oakmoss, the first perfume possessed a whole additional emotional register, suited even to the dressiest occasions. But by today’s standards, when so many drydowns go for naked musk/naked vanilla/simple cessation, Ca Sent Beau does more than enough to keep one's interest and, once again, leaves the likes of Miss Dior in the dust. On the whole, it’s a youthful but not juvenile scent, playful and intelligent, well-mannered yet distinctive, and after searching for something similar for ages, I can confidently say it doesn’t exist. (Eden, which I had long ago, bears no real resemblance.)

(Review of a 1991 EdT) That smells beautiful. Yes, yes it does. The funny and forward title is accurate. Though I suspect this vintage formulation is not likely to smell beautiful to modern noses. It is definitely old school in the thick-at-the-hips floral and animalic musk way. “There is no excellent beauty that hath not some strangeness in the proportion,” so says Francis Bacon, and he is correct. The Golden Ratio that governs all visual beauty needs some type of oddness, something off, in order to be truly striking to someone’s memory. For the classic, beautiful model example, think of Cindy Crawford and her mole - aka beauty mark - on her upper lip; it draws your attention while not detracting from the superb beauty of her face. This is Ca Sent Beau, and it’s the animalics that are the mole - which is not unusual for this genre of perfume, though Ca Sent Beau is a bit late to the en chic party. A floral forward perfume with a base heavy in animalic musks is, again, nothing new. And, I must say, at least in this EdT formulation from long ago the materials other than the musks haven’t aged well in terms of their performance. The sparkling bergamot and orange opening is stunningly beautiful but quite short. The floral heart is such an amalgam and abstract presentation of white florals that it is useless and worthless to try to identify them all in any sort of individual sense, but it is mostly rose forward. There is enough of the unctuous and watery quality of muguet to be detectable as well as the spicy/pepperiness and woodiness of carnation, but, otherwise, what arrives very nearly immediately are salty, swampy, green vetiver accenting some very thick, gray, animalic musks to give an ambergris impression. When I wear Ca Sent Beau, from every minute to the next as I smell it on my skin, I’m in love. There is a levity and happiness to the perfume at every stage - even in the thick, heavy, animalic dry down - that puts a smile on my face no matter what, where, or when. The joy of Ca Sent Beau is infectious, and consider me infected.

There are situations, you want to smell bombastic good, fresh, but somehow serious and chic and not sexy a lot. For example going for an interview for a job or just do it your work properly and fast. Here is the perfect fragrance for it and I am so glad about it. I tested it about month and today stocked up with 2 bottles more, because it is just so delicious serious. It does not make sense to describe the smell, because I have no idea, what it is, but if you have good eyes and can read the lousy small ingredients list, you may see: Oakmoss extract and tree moss extract. I think, this is one of the small amount of fragrances dealing with naturally raw stuff. Even if applied this loud and intensive perfume with heavy hand over and over you, I do not get headache, which is very practical, if you have to work hard. Sillage about one-two hours, longevity 7-8 hours (EdT!!) When the perfume is dying, it smells a bit like Dune from Dior.

For those who love tuberose- green, juicy and in full bloom, this one is a treat. I could swear there’s a touch of mimosa in there as well, giving a soft, yellow, solar, sweet powdery nuance to the composition. What makes it really special to me though, is the vanilla accord. It reminds me of freshly baked butter cookies made with a milky shortcrust dough. So nostalgic. That cozy, slightly gourmand touch is what sets it apart for me. I’ve owned this fragrance three times over the past three decades and I still adore it and wear it regularly. There’s an airy quality and a sunlit greenness to it that reminds me of the jungle (and I’ve actually been to one), something I never find in the modern takes on tuberose.

I have to be fair to this one: it is absolutely beautiful. I have just been so sad and irritated, that it is not quite the same as Kenzo Kenzo from 1988, even if they say so. This is sharper, and something is missing. But still, it is recognizable, and on some days ( like today) I feel it is better on my skin and more like the old version. Some days, I feel like I have to find a very soft/darkish caramelly kind of scent to put under it, since that is what is missing, and some days it is just ok by itself. I have also done a review on the original Kenzo Kenzo; that was really my favorite. But - if I can’t have that one, I am still so very happy for this! Light hand though - it is quite strong!

Aquarius_moon, I love your review. Since you have just started wearing Ca sent beau for the first time, you are probably smelling a reformulation, which does have the smell of, as you described, a air-freshener version. The same thing happened to Kenzo's beautiful Parfum d'ete. It is now just a watered down shell of it's former glory. The original Ca sent beau was much closer to Kenzo by Kenzo and you could notice it in the drydown. I'm sure it's all because of the oakmoss changes that occurred, but you're right, it is still awesome and I love to pull it out to wear this time of year. Men don't be afraid, Luca Turin recommended it as a fruity, barbershop fougere for men!

Ca scent Beau and Kenzo Kenzo are two total different scents - Kenzo Kenzo reminds me of a more flowery Cacharel Eden and Ca scent Beau is a more sweet sparkling soapy flowery scent with an airy smooth Corianderspicy note. On my skin I get Tuberose, Coriander, Patchouli, Peach, amber & Vanilla. Timeless and gorgeous. I think best in springtime and fall.

My grandmother had it back when it was called Kenzo Kenzo, and I was fascinated by the scent and the bottle. It's not quite the same anymore, but there's nothing like it. I love it. The perfume was even created the same year I was born.

I really do like it. It is a very "Asteraceae" perfume - I can scent zinnias, lesser fleabanes, marigolds, sunflowers + greenness of cut stalks.

Probably one of the most memorable and enjoyable summer perfumes I've ever had the pleasure of owning. Seems impossible to find now.

It seems a lot with 'Beautiful" Estee Lauder and yes, it is retro but very nice.

I definitely feel it's a "spiritual" fragrance... and I don't know why...

One of my favourite tuberose scents. Get it if you can!

Back in the day, somewhere in the mid-80s, I (along with a lot of girls my age) had Kenzo Kenzo. It was the era of Lou Lou and Anaïs Anaïs, and Kenzo Kenzo (in a beautiful light green, traditional Japanese box) was somewhere between those two iconic scents. Not as heavy and strong as Lou Lou, but not as soft and flowery as Anaïs Anaïs. A unique and aromatic, slightly bitter scent with a lot of ingredients, which could give you a bad headache if you weren't feeling well. After Kenzo Kenzo, the house released Ça Sent Beau, inspired by its predecessor, but less heavy and complex. I was able to get my hands on a bottle of Ça Sent Beau via Vinted as part of my nostalgia. The scent is still sold - mainly online - but no longer in stores. Just for the beautiful bottle alone, something you want to have, and since I am a real fan of Kenzo fragrances, I was super happy with this acquisition. I had not smelled my ‘old’ Kenzo Kenzo for years, so I was super curious how I would experience the scent again. My first reaction was WOW. They don’t make fragrances like that anymore! Whether that is good or bad, of course depends on taste. After the first fresh notes of mandarin and bergamot disappear into the background, I immediately recognize the soft, aromatic bitterness! The prominent patchouli from the top notes flows beautifully together with the bouquet of white flowers in the middle notes: jasmine, gardenia, tuberose and orange blossom. In the further drydown, the ylang ylang comes in, together with the coriander and the peach - which makes the whole thing a bit softer and more powdery and blends beautifully with the amber, vanilla and vetiver in the base. A beautiful composition, fortunately not as intoxicating as its predecessor, which is certainly still recognizable - albeit in a smooth 'less is more' version. For an eau de toilette, Ça Sent Beau has a nice longevity and a lot of sillage. Glad I was able to get my hands on a bottle! Let's see if I can find a bottle of Eau d'Eté somewhere!

Intriguing essence in a Japanese style without a 1989 feeling. Liked it at first sniff, maybe due to my favourite orange blossom, but separate notes here are “out of the coverage”, as well as its fragrant group: don’t count on something fruity floral. A stylishly intellectual abstract composition with mentally seductive personality. Like Eau Indigo's mother is playing chess, Oops!.. - Sudoku. I imagine that for casual style it could be a bit serious, also is not the one to veg out with, but for the right time and place it could be a hit. Rather unique successful blend on the modern market. Yes, Yamamoto tried to follow this path with Yohji Yamamoto pour Femme (2004) - similar coriander edge, in YY it seems rough and unfriendly - but Ca Sent Beau is more smoothly balanced and much more interesting as if meant for women who get better with age. :) 5 ***** from TS? Personally, I would give it 4 stars for sure.

I am wearing this for the first time today and, 4-5 hours from spraying, it does remind me of Eden from Cacharel. A much nicer, friendlier and quieter Eden. This perfume does smell beautiful, the name is very becoming. It wraps you in a warm, delicate and peaceful cloud of beautiful flowers. There's nothing "loud" in this scent on my skin, no animalic note, no aggressive patchouli, just beautiful white flowers and slight fruity note. The crisp in the opening fades away and it becomes a harmonious ensemble. I'm glad I bought this, after reading about it here, and I will probably buy again. Longevity is great on me; office friendly and, in my opinion, a perfect spring scent. Definitely recommended!

I am wearing this fragrance today for the first time since my last bottle of Kenzo back in the early 90s! It is not easy to find so I was delighted when I realised it has been re-released as Ca Sent Beau. Thank you Fragantica! It has changed a bit since I remember it. I don't consider this to be fruity any more; I don't get any at all. Innocent? No! It's an intense steamy floriental that needs to be approached with care! The bottle disguises a deep and heady juice much like Michael by Micheal Kors which I also own and adore. Staying power is amazing, will be smelling it for days! This is the floral I want to wear on a cold miserable day to lift my spirits and warm my soul. Love it!!!

At last I got a chance to test Ca Sent Beau (thanks Tankgirl!). What a delicious fragrance! It opens up juicy and slightly peppery with mandarin orange and orange flower with a hint of tubrose whispering in the background. Somehow it reminds me of ginger in this stage. After a while it becomes more floral, and warmer and sweeter from amber and just a tiny touch of patchouli. The fragrance has a mote of saltiness that I find very appealng. I don't find it animalistic as some do, but it's not a crowdpleaser either. It's a complex fragrace that I would like to wear a warm summer day. Sillage and longevity medium.

It's a kind of vintage fragrance, not too "old" to wear imho. I like it, but I don't wear it every day, it's the fragrance I wear when I'm in the mood. Ca Sent Beau is a strong fragrance, and a very long-lasting one. I spray it only two times and that's enough, the fragrance lasts all day and I leave a trace of the scent all around :) It's a green oriental, and I'm not a fan of patchouli, actually too many fragrances with patchouli note don't work well on me, but this one (Oriens too) is an exception. Ca Sent Beau is a fragrance you can compare to Elephant when it comes to power :)

I have a very different reaction to this fragrance: to me, it smells exactly like baked apples, fruity and sweet with cinnamon. The dry down becomes more subtle and a little less sweet, but it still makes me think of Thanksgiving dinner and crisp autumn days. For me, yes, "That smells good", but I don't wear it very often because it seems somewhat lacking in sophistication. Perhaps I should give it away to a teenage girl?

Smells dated, but somehow I like it. Orange blossom is the most prominent note to my nose. Ca Sent Beau is a fresh floral with a touch of aldehydes. Soapy, cologne-y, kind of sharp. It reminds me of my dad's cologne that he used to wear a very long time ago.

It reminds me of my university years in the 90's. I even named my pet cat "Kenzo" because of it ! Nice clean sweet perfume. Floral but not too much. I don't see myself wearing it now. Maybe too young to me now or maybe too 90's.

Mine is from 2004 it was a good year for Kenzo perfume. Long lasting, beauty.

I don ́t recomend this for a blind buy. I don ́t know where I made mistake. I tested it in perfume shop and it developed on my skin into wonderfull realistic mandarin. This is patchuli...Kenzo Jungle Elephant vibe. Maybe I mixed it up with Kenzo Le Mond est beau....I really don ́t know where is mistake. Or I have bad skin chemistry when I am stressed. I really don ́t know. So I layer it with Elephant and it ́s quite ok. But....where theese hyperrealistic mandarins are??? Bottle is vintage pleasure....I ́ll keep it like a decoration after using up perfume. It ́s so pleasant to hold it in hand. On picture is ugly but holding it in my hands.....I am really surprised and delighted.

At first it has its own signature but after 30 minutes or so, it turns almost identical to Eden by Cacharel...Guess Cacharel copied Kenzo on this one. Great as a room deodorizer...

I do feel sorry that I am going to bring this one a few points down, but the point of reviewing on MUA is to tell "truth and nothing but the truth", and my truth about this scent is that it failed to work with my nose and my chemistry, and I am saying that after having used up 2 bottles: that's how much I wanted to like it! I absolutely love the bottle, and I was looking for such a long time for a crispy white/yellow/green summer scent that would make me feel like a nymph in an afternoon forest. Perhaps it all has to do with expectations set too high. I bought both bottles unsniffed because I had never ever disliked a Kenzo scent before - all of them appealed to me in different ways somehow. But the 1st sniff I took had me breaking into sweat: oh no, this has gone BAD! Or is it a fake?!! Or is it so old that I. living in a new century, simply don't get it? It was like a cologne-soaked elderly woman's undies! So chemical and so artificially pungent!! I, wanting to get my money#s worth out of it anyway, still wore it for month, starting each day with the thought:" Ok, maybe I will like it now" and being let down again and again. Since I was staying in the countryside that summer I didn't really care how I smelled, and wanted to wear basically anything that was more than just skinscent. Alas, I did end up with my own scent, because this perfume evaporated after half an hour and never, not once, did it leave a trail of ever being sprayed! The 2nd bottle I have used up as an air freshener: the angry acid did seem to eat up any bad smell around, so still grateful for that. I will repurchase a small sample of perfume/eau de perfume if I find it, because eau de toilette was money thrown out in the air, literally!

I’m slightly annoyed by people in reviews saying this is reformulation of Kenzo by Kenzo, it’s not, it’s completely different perfume. I remember this one from 90s. If I remember it right there was Kenzo by Kenzo in pale minty green box, Ca Sent Beau in bright green box and Le Monde Est Beau in bright yellow box. All had the same beautiful glass bottle. Seems like Kenzo was discontinued, and Ca Sent Beau and Le Monde reformulated to new standards, sometimes I see them in differing boxes now. Kenzo was similar to elephant, slightly oriental, Le Monde beautiful spicy realistic mandarins with fresh soapy dry down. If I remember it right CaSent Beau was somewhere in the middle of those two/ mix of those two. UPDATE: I actually bought it from FragranceNet (white box with flower-reformulated), I knew I’m not going to love it but I sort of like all vintage and Kenzo frags, so out of nostalgia. Oh well😣, I’m in shock. This is not how Kenzo smells like (young and hip), it’s more like old discontinued Chanel scent, I mean Chanel no.5 could be cousin. It’s sort of authoritarian, classy, old smell, first who came to my mind was Queen Elizabeth, lately my husband wanted to smell it but I refused it to put it on my skin so he sprayed his hand and I realized it’s sort of unisex, even Soros or some other senile, old, rich guy could smell like this. I don’t understand notes in here, I love all mentioned above. I guess it’s too rich on patchouli, too woody, old soapy dry down. Its not that it smells bad, it’s just too mature and serious fragrance, doesn’t vibe with my artistic free casual spirit. I sold it on eBay immediately , so no harm.

Ca sent beau smells like a strong laundry detergent. I did not like it at all. I will be honest, that when I sampled it I expected a light green floral scent, that I expected to love. To my surprised its very chemical smelling and it just too much. There is a strong smell of "green" (no idea what that was, and some soapy white flowers. Really smell like fabric detergent of a cheap room spray at best. I did not find it either light or feminine, and to be honest, it's a very strange smell for Kenzo.

It reminds me Elephant a lot too. It is easier to wear, far less agressive, but I prefer the first because of the taste of spicies mentioned by Turquoise. The spicy notes that make Elephant more agressive at the beginning make it far more beautiful, specially after some hours, when Ca Sent Beau has a true, undressed animal scent. At this stage, I could confuse it with a body odour.

I really, really hated this one...I was expecting a slightly fruity, slightly green, maybe slightly dated masterpiece...but all I got was a very dated, overly strong white floral, with a hint of musk and patchouli...strongly encourage those looking for fruity to try this one before you buy!...

mine went bad. I can't remember how it used to smell exactly, but it was never so fresh. kinda old fashioned perfume.

This is technically a fruity-floral. It is a plummy orange/tangerine draped with tuberose and orange blossom. But I suppose this is a floriental. I mean it’s white flowers resting on a comfortable amber. And I reckon it’s a fougère since it seems to have a dark, nutty coumarin base. Chypre? Yeah, there’s bergamot and oakmoss. I’m not even joking. What the hell is this? Fruit? No question. Perhaps orange, more likely tangerine. It’s definitely floral. A bit of steamy orange blossom and a bucket of green, creamy tuberose. Amber for days (literally) spiked with patchouli. And the darkness---coumarin? oakmoss? Mix it up with a good measure of musk and you wind up with a languid slurry of a perfume. In tone, Ça Sent Beau is like a grand queen about 2 martinis into holding court with a gathering audience. A little tipsy, talking fast, one opinion to the next. An increasing flourish and emphasis that don’t quite cover up the slurred speech. Mesmerizing. And while this is a cousin to Prescriptives Calyx---tasty fruity chypre--- Ça Sent Beau replaces the straight-forward oakmoss base with a narcotic cough syrup base made of what seems like oakmoss and coumarin. CSB’s components are not so much potent as heavy, but the balance is perfect. Rather than calibrate the heavy with lighter elements, the cough syrup base adds some shadow to the density and makes it feel sultry. I can think of four definitively syrupy perfumes that I like. Serge Lutens’s Cedre (mothball syrup.) Lutens's Arabie (spice cabinet syrup.) Badgley Mischka’s Badgley Mischka (simple syrup.) And Ça Sent Beau. I think cough syrup is my favorite.

THAT SMELLS BEAUTIFUL CA SENT BEAU This fragrance captivated my nose because it's the green notes and the patchouli that you pick up on almost immediately. The citric scents of bergamot and orange are there but they're clearly playing second fiddle to the patchouli. This patchouli is green and rather like incense but not too smoky. There's also spicy notes, coriander and vetiver which although at the base my nose could immediately detect. So this is a green spicy floral scent with the flowers serving as background chorus girls to the patchouli singing his song. The flowers, however, are the dramatic white flowers that are to be taken as seriously as the patchouli: gardenia, jasmine, tuberose and African orange flower. This really does smell beautiful but if it had been either sweeter or stronger, it would have smelled bad. On me this smells perfectly balanced. It evokes a green garden with white flowers and green plants. There's a slight resemblance to Eden by Cacharel. Vanilla and amber is there to help the fragrance smell just as it's name indicates good. Sweet, but not too sweet not too gourmand either. Really nice. Fragrances like this are getting harder to find. I love to wear this in spring and summer and recommend it. It's available on such sites as Fragrance Net Fragrance X Beauty Spin and Amazon.com. If you like Kenzo fragrances and floral fragrances you'll love this one. But also keep in mind that the patchouli is also a big player so you have to be into patchouli. O la la! Ca Sent Si Beau!!!

The notes listed in the scent pyramid seem to me to be incomplete and arranged oddly. Elsewhere I found the following list of notes, which conform better to my impression of the scent: Top: coriander, mandarin, tangerine Heart: orange blossom, tuberose Base: patchouli, amber, vetiver I experience some uplifting citrus in the opening, followed by crisp herbs. Later, Ca Sent Beau ("That Smells Beautiful," in French) leans just a tad toward the masculine with orange blossom and vetiver, and the tuberose is very quiet. It stays cool and refreshing for about four hours on my skin, and never develops a deep warm base that one might expect with the patchouli and amber. They're there, but faintly, and the drydown is mostly vetiver. Not as feminine as I usually prefer, but doesn't make me feel uncomfortably androgynous. A lovely, pleasant smell indeed. Incidentally, I would not classify this one as a floral fruity, as it seems primarily a vetiver fragrance in my opinion. I'd call it aromatic instead.

Just got it from fragrance.net. Good price. It was wrapped beautifully with tissue paper inside with a beautiful bottle. So elegant looking. I held my breath and sprayed the first spray on my wrist,then two more. Heaven in a bottle. I can't tell you exactly the aromas but I can certainly say it was soft, clean, lingering and very feminine. I want to keep smelling myself. It has all the ingredients in a perfume that I like so it's a keeper. I hope this helps. Silly me, I have hundreds of bottles of perfumes and all I can say is I like what I like and am pretty picky.

Ca fragrance Beau is a sweet, sparkling, soapy, and floral fragrance with an airy, silky, and spicy undertone. Tuberose, Coriander, Patchouli, Peach, Amber, and Vanilla are the notes I detect on my skin. Timeless and stunning. I think best in the spring and fall. It is a very beautiful and spiritual aroma that offers me serenity and tranquility. To add to its allure, the staying power is amazing, and the silage is exceptional. This is the flower I want to wear on a chilly, rainy day to cheer myself up and warm my soul. I am totally in love of it!!!

This is within the likes of Chanel 5 EL White Linen Rochas Byzanze but at much better different level with an oriental clean feeling twist where the yellow floral, the tuberose and the gardenia makes it take a turn to something of its own kind. Different from Le Monde est Beau which is light. Ca scent Beau is strong but not overwhelming. Considering that todays perfume sometimes barely smell and last and when they do are so synthetic this is like a "everlasting" garden on you. Love the hint of coriander. It develops like a perfume dream..

I'd almost forgotten about this fragrance. Thanks to Icecube's review, this bought back memories. Quite frankly, it's been a LONG time since I smelled this, all I could remember was a very bright sweet floral, probably orange blossom with amazing sillage ( I used to spray my wrists and wash it off a bit before I step out of the house). The fragrance eventually turned but I kept it for years because of the pretty bottle.

One of my "must have" fragrances:) I had it since years and almost constantly have it. Lastly bought it at strawberrynet and thought to be a gift for a friend. Then decided to keep it again for myself:) Why? As this fragrance is unique. Its spirit gives me always what I need in the moment - confidence, charm, allure. It's a compliment for every woman. Simply amazing for me... Use it all the year:)

This has huge sentimental value, since it was my first "real" perfume. I think the current formulation is similar to the one in the early nineties. If they have made changes, they've made them very well, because I don't notice any difference comparing the vintage bottle to the new.

I love this scent, it is my 'signature' scent, it makes me happy when I am sad and confident when I feel I need that, makes e feel sophisticated and chic, it fills the room and lasts forever on my clothes. I simply adore it!

A 70 ies old school perfume. Classy, beautiful flovery opening. A weak orangenote in the background. Dries down to a vaxy smelling fragrance. Ends smelling as a mixture of vax and mimosa.

Still in two minds about it sometimes it smells of cleannes and innocence to me, sometimes it feels a little too sweet had it and will have it again, I think a...personality splitter :-)

I bought this on a whim after reading about it in 'The Guide'; still deliberating about liking it; on first whiff didn't grab me - doubt that I am a fan of pachouli.
