Flower by Kenzo Summer Fragrance 2014

it opens with a hint of beautiful freesia and citrus. now and then the litchi and ginger pop out and the soft violet from middle note provides a feminine vibe but gosh this fragrance is all about musk! the white musk goes very strong on my skin. soapy, powdery, a bit aquatic, smells careless and dangerous at the same time! actually the dry down is somewhat salted which reminds me of the breeze on my face at the seaside. sillage is moderate and lasting power is absurd for a summer scent(9 hours)! this is a very interesting fragrance, laid-back in an elegant way. it's perfect to wear it on a sultry summer night.

Lovely, soft and powdery yet great for summer. Makes me feel comfortable. Very similar to Flower Lumiere, though lumiere has top notes not drowning as much in powdery cloud. This summer version is very good, they immortalized it in the Flower Lumiere version it seems. I cannot truly name what I feel in this scent, only that it is creamy, powdery, good body balm like and very pleasant.

I got a very strong note of freesia and the musk with a bit of sweetness from the violet. Overall a very soft, dreamy perfume with a lovely tall bottle. It's not my favorite but it's a lovely floral perfume nonetheless.
