Kenzo pour Homme

I am known as a woman who likes sometimes to confuse people by means of the scent she uses. Kenzo was love at first sniff and after so many decades I am still devoted to its charm and reliability. Summer is the season, I am about 28 at friends' house having had a sleepover following a massive party they have thrown the night before. My best friend - a woman same age as mine - stayed over as well, and we wake up to realization that we have no make-up or scent to dress up with. As we are to have dinner with the hosts, we turn to them for help. The friends are both men, with distinctly different tastes in scents. They provide Kenzo and Givenchy; I approach the former with my nose and immediately am spellbound. I grab the bottle and generously spray the cologne all over me. Instantly, I am transported on a boat and am sailing on wild waves. The iodic nature of the waters pervades my nostrils, making me feel euphoric, in a very intoxicating way. I smell woods here where I am, as if parts of this dream boat were constructed with them: they are solid presences, but in the winds their scent is not overwhelming. Suddenly a whiff of resin, comforting, gentle. And a faint scent of fruit and violet tickling my nostrils, as if coming up on the deck from the galley. It makes me hungry, my mouth watering at the thought of juicy fruit in the heat that can cook your skull. So the four of us go eat finally, chosing a nice restaurant with view of the hills - we are nowhere near the coast. Candles flickering, I sit at the table but my body followed the mind and we are both still sailing on that boat. I am summoned back to mainland to order my steak and in taking the order the waiter comments "...that is an amazing fragrance you are wearing miss". I smile and reply simply "it's that of sailing dreams". My friends stare at me as if I am talking utter nonsense; but then they don't know am spellbound, kidnapped and taken on the sea. I look back at them with an expression that dismisses their confusion over the raising of further questions, so we settle into chit chats on the previous night. To these days, whenever I smell this cologne I feel as if am transported back to that boat, and boy, wouldn't I stay there forever and ever.....

A walk in a forest near the coast. A fantastic woody marine fragrance! This one is a classic already and it's one that not many people know or talk about lately. It was the second one to use Calone in perfumery, after New West (Aramis, 1988). Aramis used Calone to represent the smell of West Coast with a green and marine feel. Super odd to be honest due to the amount of Calone used. Years later Issey Miyake used Calone one their L'eau D'Issey for woman (1992) and was a huge success. This Kenzo is very different from the other fresh aquatics from the 90's because it uses calone just to create a fresh and breezy marine accord but with more woody and herbal aspects on it. It's not sweet at all. The overall smell is around sandalwood, pine needles and the marine nuances. It's like a walk in a forest near the coast. A fresh and foggy morning. Beside the marine impression, i don't see it as a fresh summer scent and that's the thing that makes me love this one. The perfumer Christian Mathieu achieved a unique woody fresh herbal scent using the new (at the time) Calone molecule but without trying to replicate the salty-melon like feel of many other fresh summer scents from that era. The result is really brilliant! The performance is also great (vintage and the newer batches) but i prefer the smoothness of the vintage. I don't recommend this one for summer, unless, if you wear it at night. I do recommend wearing this on fresh and foggy days to fully experience this one. If you find a vintage, it's well worth it, otherwise, the current version is still OK and will do the job, specially if you never smelled the vintage. 4/5

This is an instant love! I'm pretty new to the world of fragrances, but I'm sure I've smelled this somewhere before. Upon spraying it for the first time, I get a whiff of sea breeze - literally, I smell the salty air coming from the sea, while standing in a maritime pine grove. The concept it paints in my head is similar to Encre Noire Sport - water & forest - despite being a totally different setting, mood and time. The accord is so fresh, airy, light - just beautiful. As ION said below, this is a distinctively airy scent more than an aquatic scent; it's more about the breeze than it is about the sea. What I also get immediately, is the rose. An airy, light, clean rose, quite unisex; and more floral notes (must be the jasmine and carnation - it's funny I actually have no clue what carnation smells like, I thought carnation was scentless). But the floral notes, here, are the background, like the the bushes in the grove where the sea breeze is blowing. They are part of the landscape. The entire composition is to me very linear, I don't smell much of the woods in the base, just a hint of green quality probably provided by the oakmoss and the vetiver. I'm sure my bottle has been reformulated compared to the original (it's batch code 7X01, from 2017), so I can only imagine how it smelled originally. Longevity is ok (I got around 6 hours of constant whiffs, and a few more hours of skin scent) as is its projection. The bottle is very distinct - I'm not a fan of atomizers embedded in the bottle, but I really like the colour, so I will pretend it's not bothering me :D

I keep coming back to this scent. The drydown and base is what I like most. This Kenzo impressed me a lot when I first bought it but quickly I left it alone. The opening started to disturb me sometimes (that plastic note as mentioned, like the smell inside a wet and used styrofam box) and I ́m sure I smelled it on a lady passing by, and didn't like the feel, as it wasn't masculine enough just because a woman was wearing. I did a lot of tests in the past: spray and walk through, spray on wet wrists and let then dry, etc. But here again I ́m with it, after five bottles or so, waiting for the combo with a 100ml bottle plus an after-shave cream and a blue wallet. Sometimes when I walked inside the office and got its own sillage coming from me, I used to get dubious about its smell, and I think because reading reviews here and there put some words in my subconscious as a warning. All that belonging to the past, I can easily say it's one of my favourites scents, and I just knew it around 2009, almost 20 years after its release. Nothing feels old fashioned, just different, and despise those pos-conceptions, I liked it since first snif. What rests in the end which I like and gives me a feel of something connected to the beach (I know this "olfatory voyage" has to do with one's imagination) is the best part. Longevity is pretty good. Hot or cold weather? I ́m not sure, but in any case I prefer it to be dry. Warm and dry weather, it seens to be the best ocasion. Till today is my number one of the classified as "aquatic".

Kenzo pour Homme by Kenzo was my first proper fragrance — and even after years of exploring new scents, it still holds a unique place in my collection and in my memory. The opening is unmistakable: a bracing burst of seawater and marine notes, freshened with bergamot and the herbal-green sharpness of pine and sage. It immediately evokes a sense of clean, windswept air — like standing near a rocky coast with sea spray in the breeze. There’s something raw and elemental in the way it begins, but never harsh. As it evolves, the heart reveals an elegant interplay of carnation, nutmeg, and a whisper of jasmine, giving the fragrance a slightly spicy, aromatic depth. It’s still airy, but with more shape — like the scent of driftwood drying in the sun, touched by a light floral breeze. The dry-down is where it really stays with me. The base is built on smooth, masculine cedar, vetiver, and oakmoss, with a warm amber and soft musk finish. It never turns heavy or cloying; instead, it settles into something serene, woodsy, and clean — like a memory that refuses to fade. There’s a quiet confidence in Kenzo pour Homme. It doesn’t need to be loud to be noticed. It’s fluid, natural, and timeless. Sentiment aside, it’s genuinely well-composed and beautifully balanced. But for me, it will always be more than just a scent — it’s the start of a journey.

This is my first impressions of Kenzo Pour Homme. (First formulation, in the bamboo bottle with removable cap) First of all, this has to be one of the most beautiful bottles I’ve ever seen and felt in my hand. It’s not the classiest or flamboyant but wow does it feel good in your hand !!!!! I blind bought this after years of delay, and contemplation of whether to buy the very old version or the newest one. That and constantly checking eBay to find an old one for a reasonable price. I finally found one and snagged it for a great deal (after careful inspection with the help from Nikosculpture). First spray and OMG....wow this is very unique. Deep, dark, herbal, floral and weird too. I was intrigued by reviews stating notes of rubber/vinyl, plastic, and even swimming pooIs, and to be honest it really does. Some say it brings them to the ocean, with sea spray and sea breeze, or the dark, murky depths and I can see that.....but FIRST IMPRESSIONS are that it brings me to cloudy, outdoor swimming pool party right before a storm mixed with pool water, chlorine, pool lining, floaties & rafts. That may sound strange but it’s actually quite lovely. Will post another review soon. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS JUST A FIRST IMPRESSION AND NOT A FINAL OPINION.

I was lucky enough, a couple of years ago, to go to my local wholesale miscellaneous store in my home town, the owner has been there for more than 30 years, he has a very big retail perfume and cologne department in that store and he is an old school Dominican old guy that always gives you a discount on anything if you pay cash, 🤣, really cool guy, but getting to the main thing, he has boxes on shelves and some old stock that he apparently doesn’t know he has and specific colognes that may be discontinued. So when I saw and ORIGINAL BATCH 1991 first edition bottle 1.7oz with a price tag (old like it was placed in the 90s), that said 28$, I went over there and acting like I didn’t new what it was he said, give me 26$, 🙌🏼 and took this baby home. When I was a kid in my teens and I smelled this, it was love at first smell, it is oceanic but the green piney fresh flowery and marine smell it produces is a work of art and a Time Machine for my nostalgic memories. This is one I put on when I just want to remember those good old days that bring joy to all of us and are connected to this divine scents.

Just got a mid to late 1990s bottle of this (the original 1st bottle style but the blue textured box). Initial impressions is this is a contender for best freshie i have ever smelled, no joke. This fragrance vividly makes me think of hiking on a mountain and inhaling/exhaling cold fresh air. In fact the fresh notes in this fragrance are arranged and blended in a way that i really dont think ive ever smelled before, and ive smelled alot. Its like a...strangely "deep" freshness, i dont think theres actual oakmoss absolute in this or many other naturals but probably evernyl or something like that giving it top to bottom depth. The fragrance doesnt necessarily smell natural almost at all, but it doesnt smell bad/cheap/strange whatsoever. I may come back to comment on performance but it seems to last a long time longevity wise, never becomes super projecting or beastmode w/e. Im so glad i picked this up because its getting harder to find and people say the newer bottles arent that great. P.s. in the farther drydown this smells just like a pinecone almost, with the woods and everything

I always have really liked this one it's part of one of my favorite genres of men's fragrance. The late 1980's to early 1990's proto-aquatics. Scents that were basically like halfway between green and piney and fresh and aquatic. Examples being Davidoff Cool Water, Kenzo of course, Calvin Klein Eternity, Guy Laroche Horizon, Giorgio Wings for Men, Versace Blue Jeans, Givenchy Insense Ultramarine, Aqua Quorum and Ralph Lauren Polo Sport. As well as drug store aftershaves like Aqua Velva Ice Sport and Gillette Cool Wave. This genre seemed to evolve from heavier, darker 1980's quasi barbershop powerhouse fragrances like Drakkar Noir, Coty Preferred Stock, Alfred Sung Pour Homme and Van Cleef & Arpels Tsar. They were basically like the Aquatic or Sport type versions of those scents. They paved the way for the true aquatic men's fragrance genre which gave birth to the fragrances that everyone thinks of when they think of mid to late 1990's men's fruity aquatics. Stuff like Armani Acqua di Gio, Issey Miyake Pour Homme, CK Escape, CK One, and Chrome Azzaro.

I've smelled the 1991, the 2016, and the 2022 versions. They've gotten progressively more heavy and less unique. But this is a review of the original formulation. As a woman, it's the sexiest men's frag of all time. It doesn't smell dated like other reviews say, it actually smells contemporary. The aromatic, aquatic notes sets it apart from other popular blue frags and the new wave of sweet/gourmand Paco Rabanne-esque frags. It's classic but sexy. In my opinion, it's actually a great clubbing scent - strong, masculine, and a head turner. Great for beach parties and dates too. It was once my partner's signature scent but he doesn't like the new formulations so he goes for Acqua di Gio now (an inferior frag). But whenever he wears this I go crazy. I don't think this is unisex at all but I've layered it with our fem/unisex frags before but it just overwhelms them all. Imho it's a heavier, deeper, sexier version of Montblanc Legend Spirit. In short, hard to pull off as a woman but the original it's honestly one of the best men's frags of all time.

It's amazing how smells and scents trigger memories you didn't even know were there. I've never consciously smelled this frag before, gifted this to my father for christmas and when he sprayed it we both instantly had the same recollection: a walk by the seaside during sunset in a beach my family used to go for vacation when i was a kid during the 90s. Someone was probably wearing this when that memory was created in our subconscious and just stayed there, and instantly got triggered by both of us after that spray almost 30 years later. This is awesome: It's fresh but after it settles it has a certain warmth to it. Not a "heavy" warmth, but something that gives substance and smoothness to the scent, specially compared to something like Cool Water which is much more "green and sharp". This definetly smells like the old-school aquatic profile and the note combination creates a timeless and evocative scent. Love this!

The quintessential 90's perfume, an unmistakable classic, opening 10 minutes are a strong blast of Fir and Sandal, too strong maybe, but wait, after that the fragrance comes into its own, this woody calm breeze of the see just engulfs everything, and then it lasts forever, absolutely lovely. Edit: now that it's been a week, I can say that this is definitely unique, the blend of aquatic notes with Sandalwood , fir, pine and mahogany is a blend I haven't heard of before, super versatile and it's growing on me by the day, I don't care in the slightest that people say it smells old, I'd say old is gold 🪙 👍🏽 Yet Another Edit: let me put this mildly, any list of the greatest most iconic fragrances, isn't complete without this one, I haven't had people come to me complimenting and asking about a fragrance as much as they did when I wore Kenzo Pour Homme, this is an absolute magnet.

This is my first review here .. I had to write cause I was so very very fortunate that I've found an acutal vintage 1991 BRAND NEW bottle of this goodness in 2022 .. Was in denial that it's probably a fake till I sniffed it and WOW!! .. A way far and nearly impossible dream suddenly came true , I was instantly traveled back to 1995 cause this sent is directly attached to my childhood's memory like no other .. It is definitely was one of the happiest days in my life and I'm going to keep this liquidated dream in its gorgeous little 50ML bottle for a couple of sprays whenever I wanted to feel happy or needed a quality time .. Bottom line here .. The Soul of Kenzo Pour Homme is in the old vintage formulation .. that's simply it .. Folks who owned this someday knows exactly what I'm talking about here .. If the good 90s had a smell ~ It's Kenzo Pour Homme. Period.

When I found this as a gift for my husband, when it was new... well, it was a revelation!! He loved it, I loved it. When he was out of it, I bought him a new one as a gift again. It may not be in the notes, but the first thing I felt was a melon-y note. And a little mintyness. That is why I thought it was a little like andronygenous, even if not a unisex fragrance. My husband was a beautiful man, and with a sensitive heart, yet he was also very masculine. I still think you have to be a special kind of man to pull this off. One of my sons have had this as well, and love it. (I do think, that if I meet a new man to love and marry, it would be ok for him to wear this as well, if it suits him. Nostalgia and melancholy will have to give room for new feelings and the making of new memories. Not instead of, but together with.)

Don't judge this by the opening- it is discordant and strange. After a few minutes, the genius of Kenzo Pour Homme comes to the fore: the transportive dry down, which lingers long on the skin. What a pleasant, wistful, summer scent! This does not recall the hot, sun-scorching summer days, but rather a carefree youthful excursion to the rocky shore, resting on grassy hills above, commanding a view of the breakers crashing against the cliffs. A combination of trees, sea spray, vegetation, and a sort of synthetic sunscreen note through it all. It is hard to believe this was composed in 1991. Thinking of what was available at that time, this had to have blown people's minds. Sure, Cool Water was out as one of the first mainstream aquatics, but this is completely different, more evocative... and much better! Long live Kenzo.

This is a "new love" almost 30 years later of the golden age of this scent. Now I am sorry that I have not bought it in the 90s when it was a bit stronger and more charasteristic. I remember, every second manager or businesman used it in the city around 1992 and later. But I feel the same that most of the review writers here, this is a really unique, singular scent even today. I think sillage is moderate, but the longivity is acceptable, sometimes better sometimes not so much. When I am sitting in the office it seems 6-8 hours, but if I spend more times in the city, open air, it is only 2-3 hours. And sometimes I do not feel it at all and one hour later a start to feel it again slightly.... I think is tricky :). One thing is true, this is one of the best male scents ever. I really love it. Arigato Kenzo Takada san!

My first indelible fragrance induced emotion as a kid was that day I sniffed my father's Drakkar Noir in the bathroom. But the frag which would leave me in an almost indescribable state of olfactive bliss/shock (which I have failed to experience of such magnitude ever since), was the night I used his newly acquired Kenzo Pour Homme bottle before going out on my first date, during my seventeenth spring. I had never smelled something as mysterious, eerie, soothing and beautiful. I can't recall how the date went, the only thing I remember from that night is the scent. Unfortunately its 2022 successor (Kenzo Homme edt) doesn't make the og Kenzo Pour Homme justice at all. A shame really, all the more since the other Kenzo Homme bottles in the current line (edp, edt intense, marine and indigo) are great fragrances.

Good to see you on here Marc. This is one I just discovered/put off my radar for many, many, many years. Had other aquatics so figured, "Why do I need another of the same ole, same ole watery based frag?" However imo, this is unique enough, and one you do not need to pass up. Very good! I know there's something special when I keep wanting to sniff my wrist to get that goodness :-). To be over 20 years old, it still smells relevant/modern. Great for work/the office/everyday. Signature scent worthy. Still feeling this one out, but I am definitely enjoying it. As others have said, the smell matches the color/theme of the bottle: the deep blue sea. Go watch Marc's review because he pretty much sums it all up. Built for the spring/summer but a solid, versatile, all occasion/season choice, especially for the price.

some of kenzo newest batches i tested the longevity & scent is weaker then the older ones . . Production date 2019-10 is weaker then Production date 2015-08 bottle. the newer ones are a bit weaker but still smell like kenzo . .. the bamboo bottles are the cream of la cream though but not worth the price it if you can find at least a 2015 bottle or older bottle my opinion . i cant detect much difference between a bamboo bottle and the 2015 bottle both are pretty close but the 2019 one i can see a dip in quality . there are different types of bottles of kenzo which can be a bit confusing to most buyers . one with a star and one without any design . the one with the bamboo is hard to find and the oldest , i cant recommend any of the star bottles i never bought those

This perfume smells like my father, my uncle, my brother. A timeless perfume that has survived from those days until 2023. Today, such creations are rare due to minimalist trends and synthetic ingredients. Although I hate the smell of pine, the original scent left a lasting impression on me. While the scent remains true to its roots, the packaging has changed over the years. Inspired by the vegetable and marine world, the bamboo design symbolizes strength and endurance. The current version is aromatic, nautical and woody, which makes it easy to use. Although reformulations were discussed, these mostly involved packaging updates. As long as the world turns, I will always remember Kenzo Pour Homme in the perfume universe

I prefer woody aromas to the sweet and this, sometimes, leads me to the male perfumes. This perfume should be considered unisex as some men also like to slightly fruity floral aromas. I must explain that I have constant headaches which makes me extremely sensitive to strong smells and too much sweets, but I love a good smell! This Kenzo reminded me of watermelon so I bought and became a fan. I think they did a good mix of aromas and in the end prevailed carnation, musk and sandalwood. A drop in each pulse in the morning made me already lively and awake, ready to face the most willing day. It is an elegant perfume, young and brings me good memories of the period I lived in Japan.

Kenzo Pour Homme is like the crisp, cool breeze and fresh air you feel on your face as you stand on a cliff overlooking the ocean. It's like wearing a little slice of heaven. I've personally tried many water scents, but this is the only one I can really relate to. It's not a weak, watered-down scent that disappears in five minutes. No, this thing has serious staying power like a champ! It's deep and exotic. If you want a unique masterpiece that will make you feel on top of the world, get a bottle of Kenzo Pour Homme. RIP Takada Kenzo, you have left a legacy of freshness that will never be forgotten.

In my opinion, this is one of the best masculine scents ever made. Very acquatic, yet very woody and rasinous and maybe this is why I love it so much. I'm usually not into aquatics and this one makes my knees shaking. It is really one of it's kind: acquatic and woody, yet powerful and strong. A little bit herbal and spicy. It is a kind of weirdo, I must say. I would love to have it in it's old bottle, with those beautiful bamboo twigs and woody structure, but current version is still amazing. I met my man, when he was wearing this jam, so I guess it will remain my number one for a very long time.

I used to love this scent when I was a teenage but never bought the vintage. I found a new bottle on sale 6 years ago, so I decided to buy it but unfortunately I didn’t like the performance and put it away. Tonight was a very hot night 30c and I’ve decided to try it again. it was a bomb! 2 sprits on shirt and it filled the room Went to an open air and I received compliments from people standing 10 feet away after 2 hours. I believe it was steeped & refined after keeping for that long. Smell is 10/10 Uniqueness 10/10 Performance was 5/10 but after 6 yrs it turned to 10/10

Loving this one. Took me a while to get used to it but I did. Starts off really aquatic, like jumping deep into the ocean, and then I get the woody pine notes, a lovely and unique concoction. Imagine just after sunset in a tropic rainforest, swimming in a pool of water surrounded by wet trees. Performance outstanding, which I didn't expect. Very strong opening and get whiffs for a long time afterwards. It does smell a bit 90s but not in a bad way at all, probably because it's such a unique scent.

The aquatic I have been waiting for! So much dimension and character. I just received my bottle and am wearing it for the first time. This is an aquatic with no "aquatic" notes. It's comprised of a plethora of notes that create the aquatic smell that I get in the dry down of this fragrance. This is perfect to wear to a fresh body of water for the day. It's not aquatic in an oceanic way but rather picture a lake with waving pine trees. This is the image I see when I wear this one. Perfect!

This is one of my signature scents and used maybe 30 bottles of it. It does not smell like a typical 90s fragrances, it is still modern and anybody can rock this today especially in summer. I get compliments all the time whenever I wear it even today. I remember this being a beast performer when I was using it during middle and high school. The current version is not a beast performer but still much better than most summer fresh fragrances out there. I totally recommend to anyone.

What a fragrance. 90s pillar, massively popular back then. It gives most of the nowadays popular fragrances a run for their money just because it is so unique. Imo it wears beautifully in 2021. I understand why people get the "burnt rubber" in the opening (quite harsh comparison) though after a little while it unfolds into a classy shower gel feel. My nose picks up pine, florals, peach (strangely enough), sandalwood. Aromatic cleanliness. Any weather, any occasion, any attire.

@richmilton oud in kenzo pour homme 🤣 thats guano level insane. P.s. yeah after a few months i still dig this alot. Performance is as i percieved, decently average. Im probably going to buy a big bottle of the 2nd style, with how synthetic the original is (not to its detriment, the freshness is uniquely abstract) i dont see how they could have completely destroyed this with the 2nd formula. Wallet isnt fat enough for a big o.g. bottle a.t.m. lol

I’ve loved this scent since I first smelled it back in the 90s. It’s been a good 10yrs or so since the last time I smelled it. It’s still awesome to me. Bought it as a nostalgia buy today at the same time as Joe Malone Myrrh and Tonka. Oddly enough on the dry down they are remarkably similar, the Kenzo just has a little fresher note to it making it ideal for summmer. The Joe Malone will allow having that familiar DNA in Autumn and Winter

I fell in love with the talcum-like softness and aquatic cleanness the first time I bought a bottle in the Duty-Free at Heathrow Airport, back in the 2000's. This, along with JPG Le Male are my signature scents. Think of a bearded manly-man, smoking a cigar in his musty study, whilst reclining in a large, leather-bound armchair, brandy in hand - this is the opposite of that. If it were a colour, it would be a soft, powdered blue.

This is a kaleidoscope of emotions and olfactory sensations. I've used and I own many aquatic scents but none of them is able to evoke to me this freedom sensation and sea horizon I see wearing Kenzo Pour Homme. It's not dated at all and it's not weak in performance unless you own a fake bottle. This is deep, dark, exotic, Ozonic..it's magic. A unique masterpiece like in another direction it can be considered Dior Fahrenheit.

Nostalgic but never out of date, extremely unique, does not smell like anything else, takes me back in time to the good days, an overwhelmingly potent dose of memories, 10 out of 10, if you loved it back then you will definitely fall in love all over again, Aventus unique, or Terre d'Hermes unique, 2 of my all time favorites come from the same category of the same era, Kenzo Homme and Givenchy Ultramarine Insense.

As other women have commented here - this is THE most incredible men's scent. I used to drown myself in it, to dream of a man who'd wear it as it should be wore: confidently! This, Masculine of D&G and Fahrenheit are my top choices on a man. BRING IT BACK AS IT WAS!!!! The 90s formula! Seriously discombobulating. It was a weapon of mass destruction. No man wearing this could or would go unnoticed. Impossible.

As a teenager I disliked sweet perfumes and went through a long stretch of using male scents. This was one of them. I had the early version with the structured glass and sprayed myself through at least two bottles. Kenzo pour Homme was fantastic: dark and relaxing at the same time. I don't think I have smelt it since, and it probably has been changed beyond recognition.

A strange addiction. A bizarre but mesmerizing combination of slightly hesperidic, aquatic, woody, fresh, green, and floral notes crossed with the solvents used for sharpie and expo markers. So well blended it becomes hard to pick apart individual notes. It smells exactly of the paint I purchased to redo the walls in my room one summer. I want to varnish myself in it.

Ive really been enjoying this since i got it a little while back. Ive been thinking of the most simple yet accurate way to describe this... This is the live or animated movie depiction of a bracing cold winter wind gust through a forest. Movie because it isnt natural, but abstract. If that sounds interesting check it out. Dunno about new formulations.

A great aquatic scent that is on my top 3 list of deep water scents along with Bvlgari Aqva and Davidoff Cool Water. I get woody sandalwood notes and an aquatic note, very easy to wear in the summer day or night, the more hot and humid it gets the better this smells on me, longevity and projection are great, a quality scent at a bargain price.

This is definitely Quint from Jaws signature scent or maybe Poseidon. Envokes visions of the lost city of Atlantis. It also reminds me of a thunderstorm as others have said or a storm out at sea. It really does seem to go well with rainy weather. Good signature scent for a Pisces like me.

This is such an awesome fragrance complex and dark and fresh simultaneously. I got a compliment on it the first half an hour I had worn it, a younger teenage girl complimented me so hey the younger noses seem to generally appreciate it and it’s a cult classic with some depth to it too.

I'm female, and used to wear this in my 20s. The amount of compliments I got...and nobody believed me when I said it was a men's fragrance. Fresh, woody, stays forever. I've been thinking about buying it again, almost 30 years later, but it's probably best left in 1995.

J'adore cette parfume sur mon marri. I absolutely love this cologne on my husband. he can wear it or just spray it around the room and I swoon. Lovely scent without too much of the woodsy, supposed masculine, notes that make me sick.

I have a bottle of Kenzo Pour Homme from 90’s that’s running low. Would the new bottle with a box that says “Kenzo Homme” be the same EDT? Bottle inside is a bit different as well. The bottle I have came in a white-grey stripy box.

Legendary fragrance. Doesnt smell dated but rather classic! Deep oceanic fragrance and not aquatic. It is bold and harsh but beautiful and very manly with tons of notes. Super longevity.

It's an unusual perfume. It's synthetic, but in a quality way. You can imagine a person wearing this has just gotten out of the sea and puts sea salt scented spray on their hair.

One of my favorite warm weather frags. Uber manly. This has sex appeal, the ladies will love it on you. Very versatile and very charming. This is what 007 would use on vacation.
