Nuha Vanilla Pearl

I can see why people compare this to yara candy but also it's still quite different.. when I first sprayed it I immediately recognized it to resemble yara candy however there are some big differences.. this one doesn't have the really strong candied strawberry note opening, the fruits in this one are more subtle and elegant and they blend much more cohesively with the sweetness and creaminess and powderiness and the base notes. It's more elegant and refined in my opinion. Yara candy seems to have two different things going on that make it confusing to me to smell. You have your strong strawberry candy fizz, and then you have your vanilla sandalwood and I feel like they almost conflict with each other, like it's trying to be a fun girly cute fragrance and at the same time trying to be grown up and I feel like it should have picked one or the other.. whereas this one everything is blended to make sense and while it is sophisticated it's still quite an ageless fragrance anyone could wear it. It's very elegant powdery sweet and fruity and it's really beautiful I'm actually super happy as it was a blind by buy.

I don’t get the Yara Candy comparison, this is soft powdery, very sweet and fluffy. Like a marshmallow cloud with a bite of ripe juicy fruit and cashmeran? I decided to read up on what the ME sites sell this as “inspired by” and I found Yum Boujee Marshmallow, and Yum Boujee Marshmallow + Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar, like a mix of both. I’ve no idea how accurate that is, as I’ve never smelled either (I do have a dupe of VCRS though and I do find some similarity with the cashmeran I think). But I’ve just gone with my impression, and this is such a delight! After the first while I start to get a hint of fresh raspberry and the fluffy sweetness is to die for. How is there not a marshmallow note in this? It’s so powdery! I don’t really get caramel, or moss? I’m a bit confused. My bottle is from 01/25 so it’s really new. I have incredibly high hopes for maceration/maturation, it does seem to be somewhat light, but I have a lot of cheap perfumes to compare to and I don’t think it’s weak. I also tried layering it with Khair Felicity and ~ It. Is. So. Good.

I LOVE this fragrance, right out of the gate, it's beautiful. I don't feel it is similar to any other fragrance I own and I don't agree with any of the, "this reminds me of" choices. I pick up a strong berry opening with something like a mild incense back. Perhaps it is the cashmere wood(most likely), or oak moss, that I am detecting. But, my nose translates it as an "incense" note. There is also a hit of vanilla that blends well with the other notes. This is an absolutely beautiful fragrance and I can't wait to see if it evolves or stays as is. Definitely one of my favorites. I just realized, there is a mild resemblance to old school Gucci Rush(as if they're cousins), that I am picking up. The fruity note is the same type of fruit and that back up "incense" note is there. Nice.

I can’t believe I haven’t posted on this scent as yet. I have had vanilla pearl for 6-7months now. And it just keeps getting better and better. It’s a blast of fruit and vanilla. If you don’t like strong projecting fragrances-keep walking. It projects in a good way. I love it! I’m glad it a part of my collection. For some reason, I have been wearing my Nuha’s in the dead of winter. Makes me feel like an edible dessert. I think of this scent as a blueberry/blackcurrent Yum Yum Boujee. Think of mixing KA Yum Yum and Arabiyat’s Blueberry Musk...you get Nuha Vanilla Pearl, in my opinion. I love it. But with any scent, smell and test for yourself ❤️

I don’t agree with the reviews that say it smells like Yara Candy. I have both and this one is much more elegant, softer, clean. I love strawberry and vanilla and this is a beautiful blend that’s not juvenile with the touches of cashmeran wood and magnolia. After more time for maceration I’m sure it will be even more beautiful. Update October 2025: it got soooo much stronger. Very strawberry (in a natural type of way, but still sweet because of the vanilla). I did not think it would mature so much, it’s like a strong one now. But still kind of fruity and so rounded. Very very nice!
