Aromatic Blends: Orange Flower & Lychee

I was gifted a 1.5 ml spray sample of this and enjoyed wearing it today. I applied 2 sprays to both my right and left antecubital fossa (AKA "elbow pit") this morning. I actually was still able to slightly smell this after wearing it for 7 hours and I'm guessing had I layered it with the matching body lotion, I have as well in the travel size, it might have lasted even longer. This is a close to the skin scent and not likely to offend anyone even if you are in close quarters. After about 5 minutes this scent loses any sharpness it may have. The orange blossom does seem to dominate this scent for about the first hour, but it really evolves into something much more beautiful in my opinion. I know it is not listed as a note but I smell orange mixed with orange blossom and the honey note seems to give it a sweet creaminess that I really enjoy! I also know that the scent has the word "lychee" right in the name of the scent but I have wore this all day and have not noticed it, but that could just be my inexperience in detecting notes or my body chemistry. If you enjoy fruity florals with a touch or sweetness, while still having a clean fresh scent this is definitely worth testing. I will most likely add this to my collection next spring or summer because this is when I would wear this scent.

One of two of my absolute favorite Kiehl's Aromatic Blends. If you enjoy Neroli or Orange Blossom, you will love this fragrance. My husband use to spoil me during Springtime by cutting branches of Orange Blossoms from our trees and place them in a vase next to my bed. I would wake up to the most fresh, citrus scent imaginable. The fragrance opens up to fresh orange blossoms and the sweetness of Lychee fruit but nothing fruity about it. Just a lovely blend of floral freshness with a undertone of honey, just a tad.

I used to love this. I went to the store to try if I still do. Oh boy, no. So, so sweet. And it has this weird, pardon me, barfy note. I don't recall it being there before. Maybe my skin has changed? Go figure. It used to be so good! Fun, flirty and summery. I guess the days of me being fun, flirty and summery are in the past.. (Haha, no no.) The longevity was good, and it was just perfect for warmer weather. But, all in all, the Aromatics line by Kiehl's is still super nice. I truly adore the bottles.

Very natural smelling lychee on top of a bed of white florals. They're not at all heavy or overwhelming but transparent and light. Lasts well, sweet fruit but not too sweet -- I sometimes feel that lychee in a composition frequently has too much sugar with it, but this has a bit of sour, tropical bite to it. Great for summer when you want something tropical, light but still distinctive. The lychee really makes this scent stand out.

Very pretty perfume :) "Pretty" describes is quite well I think, since it's really very light, though fruity, and suits yound girls better. Both name components are present equally, to my nose, - and this is good because lychee is not that much a traditional smell and it adds a little something to very-very traditional orange flower. Really cute thing. Suits as a daytime perfume almost all year round.
