Albaura

Albaura works differently on different people. On warmer more oily skin you get the 'ice' - it's like a cool mint or rather eucalyptus - very subtle. I have cooler dry skin so it goes more quickly to the herby floral mossiness at the heart of Albaura. It would definitely suit men or women equally. If it were a colour it would be a soft sage green. It's cool, mossy, like sitting among the rocks and grass at the edge of a Scottish loch at dawn. Or it might remind you of a classy soap that's green and soft but complex. An excellent choice for hot days. Very nice. A male friend of mine loves it, I like it but not as much as Kingdom Scotland's Metamorphic, and Botanica.

The first time I sprayed this, I was outside and didn't smell anything. It's quite subtle. The second time I really got it. Cool, dry and powdery. Lichen covered rocks and dry grass, scattered throughout a frozen tundra. It's is a like for me. If powdery is your thing, try this.

A very modern take on moss, definitely not like the old school mosses you get in ladies' perfumes of the 80s. Super realistic earthy moss, like walking around in a forest, but with lots of piercingly masculine cedarwood to boot. What starts off really earthy = turns into something a lot more perfumey, the ice note here is very unique to me it's all a little like piney gin, juniper berries maybe. Overall very masculine I find, not something I might wear but definitely an interesting experience to test.
