Din ka Raja

I love it! A grand oriental floral in its classiest iteration. And here's the big surprise: it's a dead ringer for Givenchy's Organza. No kidding! I've had Din ka Raja on my left wrist (2 swabs of the vial's dipper stick) for 4 hours and Organza edp on my right wrist (one spray) for 3.5 hours (took me 30 minutes to realize what DkR reminded me of) and there is absolutely no difference in fragrance. Organza is still going strong but DkR is beginning to fade. Both are oriental florals and their listed notes differ somewhat but DkR manages to create Organza's smooth, golden elegance with far fewer notes. Both white floral? Check. Both sweet? Check. Both animalic? Check. Both heavy on vanilla? Check. Both woodsy/musky? Check. I love Organza, truly adore it, so of course I think Din ka Raja is sublimely beautiful and say with confidence that all Organza lovers will think so too. Will I invest $19.95 for 5mls of DkR? No, because my 100ml bottle of Organza edp is still half full and I can replace it on-line for under $50 or economize and get 15mls for about $10. If you're a man who's been tempted to wear Organza but put off by the (literally) womanly bottle I highly recommend Din ka Raja to you. Organza edp stays loud and sweet for its entire 8-10 hour duration on my skin but Din ka Raja "dims down" from the get-go and stays closer to the skin in a soft & powerdy way, which might make it the better choice for you Organza lovin' guys.

I was lucky to receive a sample of Din ka Raja from the giveaway hosted on Fragrantica a few weeks ago and I was excited to try the scent based on the description. I must say that it certainly did not disappoint! I loved it at first sniff and have been wearing it every day since, which is a rarity for me. The scent is warm, cozy and incredibly long lasting! I smell hints of the gardenia, and the jasmine, vanilla, white chocolate and musk definitely come through. I actually loved it enough to buy a full bottle, which was so reasonably priced that I ended up ordering a bottle of Chang Samkahn blind, as well as samples of Tian Tian and Natsukashii. I just received those and and loved them instantly as well (reviews on them to come once I've worn them for a few days). I've never come across a line of perfume where I really like every scent, but so far King's Palace is a huge hit for me. Marlen Harrison has an amazing nose and he's blended these oils to perfection! I can't wait to try the rest of the line and I love the fact that I won't have to take out a second mortgage to do so. Highly recommended!

Wow! Din ka raja may be the best smelling perfuming oil I've ever worn!! The smell is absolutely intoxicating, very sweet and strong but not as overpowering as you would think. I smell the jasmine and gardenia instantly but as the fragrance fades I smell chocolate, musk and something just like a cupcake out of the oven! I wore it for the first time today and had a male co worker say "you smell really good" so with that, I'm happy!

This is a white floral that smells natural and contemporary, with a fresh jasmine note and a buttery vanilla drydown with musk. Gardenia doesn't really stand out to me, I just get an idea of various fresh white flowers, jasmine being the strongest one. There is some spicyness too. The drydown is musky, warm, buttery, and not too sweet. This scent is minimalist and uncomplicated, and yet unique and beautiful. The small roll-on bottle is perfect to keep in the handbag.

Received a sample of Din Ka Raja from King's Palace. The Jasmine comes out first, to me. Love Jasmine, and the musk is subtle but there, and they are great together. I like the oil base, longer lasting than most. This scent stands out, not something to wear in an elevator! I am now going to have to go get some samples of them all...

Din ka raja is a sweet white floral scent with top notes of the jasmine and gardenia. The smell become sweeter by chocolate and vanilla. The drydown get through the slightly spicy saffron but remains sweet. no favorite because Gardenia always makes me slightly nauseous. Do you like white flowers perfumes try this once. feminine odor

Big burst of white floral (mostly jasmine) that lasts for a while, then it dries down to a musky smell. The floral subsides greatly and the gourmand is revealed. Unfortunately for me I could only smell this on myself for about 3 hours.
