Phénix from a sparkling and vibrant form to a mature smoky scent. Developing of this perfume is truly remarkable. And still it is very wearable, not just as an experience. Opening is sweet, juicy and almost immidiately blends in peppery spiciness. It is joyful and spontaneus, seductive. Smoky aroma slightly absorbs saffron and lately becomes dominant, with dark roasted coffee facet. In this phase turns the scent into more dark and staid. The base is a bit ashy. Cypriol remains when leather aroma melts in ambergris. Patchouli is dry. You can sense herbal hint of immortelle. With this aura fragrance ends. It is enigmatic, dark, calm. Personally I prefer more energic heart of it but I admire the quality and the transformation. If you like demanding perfumes, you should try it. --- Moderate projection, longevity between 5-6hrs.

I am weirdly obsessed with this!! Nothing in the notes is usually something I gravitate towards but it fills a niche in my fruity perfume loving heart. It gives the vibe of a nice department store in the best way. And it's one of the few perfumes that I can actually smell on myself without having to put my nose directly to my skin. My skin, despite how much I moisturize, loves to absorb scent into nothingness ̄_(ツ)_/ ̄ This feels like a good all rounder I cant imagine this not being a good choice for literally any occasion. I dont love that this is a Japanese inspired brand created by two white guys with 0 connection to Japanese culture but I cannot deny this scent is fantastic.

Do you think that only Japanese people or people deeply immersed in Japanese culture can be inspired by it? Your judgment sounds cheap.

This is magical to me. I have never smell something like this. Its smokey, its elegant. For me its comforting. Gives me boss woman energy. At first you can detect pineapple and spices, than it is smokey, leathery. I can't smell coffe note. Lasting power is good.

Truly a masterpiece that doesn't remind me of anything else I've smelled. Complex scent and fantastic quality. I took a chance and blindly bought it, it was the most successful one. Thank you Martin Švach for a fantastic scent.

This perfume is for sitting on a patio in the summer. Bonfire optional. Drink encouraged. Very setting specific but I love it. I'm surprised that people see it as a fall and winter fragrance.

Beautiful, smooth, smoky leather, which sounds like it would be a heavier fragrance, but this isn’t; it has a lighter, almost fresh vibe, which I imagine comes from the slight greenness of the immortelle. I personally didn’t get any of the pineapple or coffee, which I’m fine with. Like all of Kintsugi's fragrances, this is quality, complex, and also very wearable. Update: The smokiness shifts a bit into a slightly smoky/slightly powdery feel, which softens the edges of the leather even more. Leather-forward fragrances can be challenging for me, but this is probably the most wearable leather fragrance I’ve every smelled. Lovely.

Has the same addictive quality as smelling a wad of cash. Something a little dirty but crisp. Always get compliments on this one

Do not look at the notes. Based on them, you will not understand how this smells. So well blended and very unique.
