Sheer Violet Hair Perfume

This gives me Glossier You vibes with an added raspberry finish. Delicious, softly spicy, fresh and clean. I'm adding this to my list of other Glossier You-adjacent skin musk hug in a bottle scents: Le Monde Gourmand's "Fleur de Blonde" (more pear), Bath & Body Works' "If You Musk" (softer) and "Kaleidoscope" (deeper... both discontinued 😭), Body Shop's "White Musk Lover" (very similar to Sheer Violet but with more rose...and I can only find it imported 🥲), and Cremo's Wild Iris Musk body wash. Mmm.

This surprised me at how long it lasted in my hair. I sprayed it and could still smell it when I moved my head the next day. Lovely feminine scent.

Ambroxan bomb! I find it much, much woodier than described--it reminds me quite a bit of Aerin Cedar Violet, in fact--and not nearly as floral as I expected, but I like it. I hope I'm not anosmic to the musk (or, after a while, the ambroxan) because I did kind of overspray it in an attempt to remove some cooking odors from my hair. I will confess that I bought this because it was on sale and the bottle reminded me of Love's Baby Soft, but I do think it is quite practical and pleasant, even though I suspect that the patented "odor-removing technology" is pure hype.

I cannot explain why, but it smells so much like an indoor rainforest-themed zoo area. I mean this in the best way possible. It smells like nostalgia. I didn’t read the box or look at the notes, and I don’t want to. I know what this is. In my heart.

a sweeter, less peppery take on glossier you. i like the sugared violet in this but it comes off a bit linear. good for the price but nothing beats glossier you for me 🙂↕️

Sweet dupe of You by Glossier. Clean and powdery. Perfect gym scent. I wish it had better longevity.

Much pink pepper. Not my favorite out of the discovery set. It smells like Glossier You, the reformulated/new version.

Not only is this scent just a basic floral, but it's barely noticeable! It does stick to you all day, but you basically have to suck your hair through your nostrils to notice it. /kit.sch/ just can't get into the fragrance game, okay? It's pretty unfortunate, because I think some of their hair perfumes smell amaze. Amber Shores? Mindblowing how this hair care company came up with that bomb scent. Their product just doesn't work, and I'm not sure that hair perfume is really going to last as a product in general because it's just not projecting properly. Save your money.

This is very similar to you by glossier. You is one of my favorites, so I love the smell, but it is quite weak. Sprayed in my hair and could barely smell it. Sprayed on wrists just to tests and this scent did not even last an hour. I probably wouldn't buy it due to longevity but if want the smell of you on a budget this is probably as close as you will get. I will also add that others in the Kitsch hair line have much better longevity, particularly Amber Shores.

Y’all, I think I got an early factory tester or something, bc EW?! I get sharp browning-greens, like slightly rotting plants, with the weird ambroxan/vape pen sweetness attempting to cover it up? After I first wore it out my friend asked me if I’d suddenly taken up gardening and when I said no, she said I smelled like I was just frolicking in some compost. I KNOW! Brutal. But correct. Sadly. Not blind buy safe, considering the beta version I ended up with in a discovery set 😭

How did this pass consumer testing? It smells like huffing a marker. It smells like purple-scented craft glue. It smells like burning rubber. Through this there is a sheer hint of violet, as the name suggests. Then it is gone. Something went wrong during production. How is this on shelves? This is a car crash.

I don't know who remembers, but Burberry The Beat once had a EDT version with a white cap. I loved it. Loved it to the point of bathing in it for good ten years before it got discontinued. This reminds me of that smell. Cheaper, a little more rough around the edges but very similar. Burberry's longevity was poor though, and this one is even poorer. I'll keep it but won't be purchasing again, time to move on.

I got three of these mists blindly online (cherry, violet and brown sugar). What a waste of money. They smell synthetic, opening is cloying, dry down smells like cheap hair spray or unwashed hair, and makes the hair stink after an hour. 0/10

Stunning. Great surprise to me! I am not a floral, fresh or musky fan, but this is really nice. This is not sharp, not sickening and last long time! After 4 hours I felt a nice scent on the air, until I found it was my hair. I need them all
