Desert Rose

I just received the whole set in the mail & sprayed them all. So this is my first impression. I don’t love it. To be honest, when I first sprayed it, I hated it. But after 30mins, it’s growing on me? It’s Tuberose which I normally love but this is too creamy. You get a lot of the mandarin & bourbon vanilla with the Tuberose. The top & maybe main note is definitely mandarin & that is still there. It’s starting to remind me of Bond No 9 Central Park West (which I love), but not exactly. Projection is weak, it’s a close to skin scent, but then again I haven’t doused myself in it, only sprayed my forearm. Still testing longevity. I’ll keep trying it, maybe it’ll grow on me just like the 1st Diamond collection. Edit: so I sprayed it again throughout the day, it grew on me. I love it. I ordered a backup bottle. It also reminds me of KKW Body 2, which that also reminds me of Central Park West. It does give off a coconut vibe now that I think about it.

Tuberose-heavy with some creamy bourbon vanilla and a clean powdery musk. Opens slightly peppery and i do get the Mandarin blossom but this wears away very quickly. Gone in a minute or 2. VERY creamy. Dare I say, almost too creamy? This is not gourmand at all, but for some reason I picture a rich vanilla custard or pudding when I smell this. However, again, this is not a gourmand and does not smell like custard. It's a creamy floral with a rich creaminess that makes me think of custard. I'd imagine this would be great for layering with something citrusy or spicy. Sits very close to the skin. Weak to moderate longevity. Bottle is lovely. Weightier than I expected. The box is also beautiful. I admit that I bought these almost exclusively for these components.

Desert Rose is a beautiful, uplifting tuberose dominant fragrance. It’s a true bubblegumy tuberose with a clear green accord... it’s almost minty, especially in the opening. It steers away from smelling dated or matronly. I find Desert Rose to be an uplifting, modern take on tuberose. It’s sweet and girly. Perfect for spring. I’m VERY impressed with all three fragrances from the new Jeff Leatham collab. My favorite release from KKW Fragrance in some time. Also, the packaging and bottles are truly beautiful in person. A+

This was a blind buy for me, and I'm pleased with it. It's a pleasant combination of warm and light. Tuberose, vanilla and amber are kind of milky and comforting, without being cloying. I'm no connoisseur, but it does remind me of sniffing the top of a newborn's head. On me, this scent lasts all day. The presentation is also compelling- the box and the bottle make for a pretty interesting Object.

This was a blind buy, since I liked the listed notes and it was inexpensive. It's a very interesting creamy tuberose. It's smells so good. It's classy, unique yet familiar. Edit: It reminds me of Hermes Twilly d'Hermes without the Ginger note and Amouage Love Tuberose I wish the bottle was larger. I've already ordered to backups.

A creamy tuberose. Nice presentation in the boxing and bottle design (simple and functional as a vase). Beautiful gift and that price point.

I fell for the marketing and gorgeous packaging with this KKW release. It was my primary reason for purchasing. The packaging: It feels heavy and seems to be made of plastic and ceramic perhaps? The bottle is cold, smooth and well balanced in the palm. The top could technically hold a bud but barely, so I think that may have been just a marketing gimmick. 8/10 The Smell: All 4 KKW fragrances in my collection have the same top note of isopropyl alcohol. (Although, when I spray onto paper I don't get the alcohol smell nearly as much as I do when sprayed onto skin.) I get a quick peek of pepper/spiciness after the dissipation of alcohol but then the fragrance goes into straight tuberose/jasmine. The white florals linger for a few hours before fading to a mild vanilla flowery smell. It's a nice, slightly sweet, forgettable white floral. 6/10

A very pretty scent for sure, but unfortunately on my skin, it simply is too metallic and screechy. I really wish I could have the kind of skin that turns this scent into a creamy and sweet tuberose but it is not to be... I am not sure if this has been discontinued or not but for you lucky people who have skin chemistry with tuberose, definitely check this one out!! It is (or was) priced nicely at $40 and you cannot go wrong with a beauty cheapie like that! Kuddos to Kim for partnering with Mr. Leatham! PS: Their partnership launched 3 New scents yesterday and they are available on Kim’s website. I ordered the one called Caramel Orchid and cannot wait to smell it! I have high hopes!!

This is sooooo boring! This smells like straight up vanilla after about 5 mins.. The box and bottle look nice, but that’s really all that it has going for it. I also purchased "KKW x Kris" and that ended up smelling waaay better than Desert Rose IMHO! I don’t really like KKW as a person and am glad that I only wasted $40 on this.. I highly doubt that I will ever purchase another KKW fragrance. This is so "meh". I could’ve done without this in my life.

By far the most unique scent from Kkw i have smelled. I find it super powdery and I feel like in the winter months I will find some comfort in this fragrance. However I really need to be in the mood for it as it is not my typical type of fragrance. Sillage and longevity are really good and it lasts the whole day and evening on me.

This is definitely a “Kim” scent . This is tuberose . Creamy bubblegum tuberose . That is all I smell.

This one was surprised me a bit. Prior to smelling this, i never paid attention to the notes listed in this frgarance because i was so focused on Night Iris lol. So i automatically assumed there was a Rose note in this composition, which there is not. But to my nose, this is pure Tuberose with a hint of Musk. Upon first spray, i get a blast of Tuberose blended with Tuberose. As the Tuberose settles, you get more of the Tuberose note that really blossoms. In the dry down, once the Tuberose settles, you can really smell the Tuberose in this fragrance. Oh, and Musk lol. In case i haven't made it any more clear, Desert Rose is pure Tuberose and Musk to my nose. But this isn't a bad thing. When i received a PR package of KKW x KRIS last year, i had no idea what type of fragrance i was getting(a Tuberose based scent). Prior to that, i couldn't stand Tuberose and rejected anything with that note in it. Wearing KKW x KRIS taught me to appreciate Tuberose as it was so beautifully composed, and my despise for Tuberose turned into a love/hate relationship. Desert Rose is far from a bad fragrance, but it's not for everyone. It can easily suit the mature crowd more than the younger crowd, unless you're a fan of Tuberose. Desert Rose makes a perfect layering fragrance. I have several Musk fragrances in mind that i can pair this with. Desert Rose lasted about 5 hours on my skin and projected about 3-4 feet. Overall, I'm not disappointed with this fragrance, but this isn't my favorite. Though the other notes aren't detectable to my nose, they definitely play a role in toning down the Tuberose and making this a likeable scent for me. . I wonder how many times did i say "Tuberose" in this post lol. Scent: 6/10 Packaging: 9/10 Performance: 7/10

I said this in my review of Jasmine Air and I will repeat it here ...Jeff Leatham and KKW hit the ball out of the park with this packaging (box AND bottle). It is SO LUXE - better than $200+ fragrances I have purchased in the past. This is a much more mature and heavier fragrance than Jasmine Air. On first spray, I get a peppery, bubble gum tuberose with a beautiful cypress note which creates a really nice cool burst in the opening - think fresh mountain air. In the heart, the chilly cypress dissipates, giving way to a fairly strong, creamy tuberose and jasmine combination. It becomes warmer and sweeter with time. In the deep dry-down, I can still detect those floral notes with the addition of bourbon vanilla and amber, which intensifies the warmth, sweetness, and overall creaminess of the composition. I don't think this is a safe blind buy, however if you know you enjoy florals (tuberose and jasmine, in particular), this might be right up your alley! I am very impressed.

This is beyond my expectations! It was a beautiful scent that remind me to Love Tuberose by Amouage but in a prettier way. It last long on my skin more than 8 hours and the first 1-2 hours it so intense for me but when it dry down it still make me feel happy to wearing this beautiful fragrance. About the design as a florist I just love it so so so much! A tiny vase that can put a 1 stem of flower is a crazy thing that I addicted to it! If I have to say 1 thing that I don't like about this, it was a picture of rose not a tuberose in every ads of this perfume Lol. (Just bought 1 more to collect it in an original shrink wrapped...)

This was the first kkw scents I purchased and loved. I love rose.. this is all tuberose..which turns out I love. It gives powdery, creamy, floral feels... Definitely a winter scent in my opinion.. perfect for cuddle weather. It's so unique.. glad I got my hands on it.

This is so beautiful! The scent us a beautiful tuberose. Not a crazy, in your face tuberose but a subdued, classy tuberose. The bottle is a amazing piece of art that can be turned into an actual flower pot after the perfume is gone. So innovative!

I need a dupe of this. This is such an incredible scent and when I run out idk what i'll do. it's so gorgeously creamy but sweet powdery and rich

Can anyone confirm if this smells like iconic gardenia? My biggest Kkw regret is not buying this.
