Is it eggses? I hate the bottles man. They temp me to throw them against a wall. I was about to buy this but it is SO intense that I get fidgety and cant have a clear mind, def not calming. Love and hate relationship with this one. Smells abit old fashioned at first, like these small vials of yellow perfume from back in the 90s in Europe. Both Nude Sand (which I like) and this one have this Baby Oil type of warm scent/vibe to them. The pear which usually stinks on me and comes off plastic and salty, here is subtle, and the orange blossom I can smell more of it later on. Im not a huge fan of orange blossom (unless its Prada Candy Kiss). To detect the orange blossom I have to stick my nose on my skin and inhale, then I smell the usual saltiness that orange blossom projects on my skin (Sam Edelman vibes), Not crazy about that. Tuberose here dominates everything though and Im a tuberose lover, but it kinda gives me sunscreen vibes here.. It is VERY balsamic on me more than anything! Some bubblegum sweetness for sure. It is youthful. Lemon and ginger must be the reason this smells "yellow" to me in my mind, quite sunny, almost like Nude Sand, but this could easily make me dizzy, because of the tuberose/vanilla. Tuberose is heavy enough. The woody base projects more after 30 mins on me so I see the comparison with Crystal Noir, but no pencil shavings here, just the tanning lotion vibe of both. (I dont like Crystal Noir). Its way better than Crystal Noir imo. I could never stand that. To me it's not as heavy as L'Interdit - that is so damn heavy and reminiscent of church-incense. I had to return L'Interdit. I wore this to the gym and it was distracting, it becomes intense on my skin. After 3 hrs it smells softer. It lasts long on me. Update: Wearing this more, I ended up loving it and got the full size. It is the best of the three eggs. It still reminds me of Lavender baby oil, due to using oils in it. I love its sweetness, it can become too intense so I try to spray only once which lasts for hours on end. It is addicting indeed. When I am PMSing it becomes distracting but I think it is unique. Not a regret. I like most KKW fragrances, I think most are good quality and unique.

Love the bottle, the scent is pretty dang good, too! I've read that Kim likes gardenia, and even though it's not a note here, the tuberose sort of gives an impression of it. This totally has vintage vibes, maybe not a good blind buy unless you know you love this type of white floral. Edit 9/14/25: This is so good, performance isn't great but I don't care. It's too expensive/rare to find this now, so I'll use it sparingly. I love the bottle, too. Cabachon opals hold a special place in my heart (my mom always wore an opal ring when I was little, very nostalgic for me.)

woody, citrusy, floral, tiny bit of musk. a unisex fragrance. kind of reminds me of luxurious hand soap lol. i get a decent 2 hour wear out of this, which is common with most kkw fragrances.

Opens as a soapy clean and linen fresh white floral with unisex outdoorsy woods that warms and becomes more feminine and cozy as it dries down. Very tuberose-dominant, as it seems that note is really well loved by Kim Kardashian. The drydown is a little more unisex and woodsy. Opal Energy is somewhere in between an expensive smelling 'fresh linen' candle and an '80s powderbomb white floral. Either way, it wears close to the skin and feels a little more modern with its ambery/woody vanillic notes and its effortlessly soapy clean feeling. Not for me, but it is genuinely nice for what it is, and the bottle is awesome, a cross between a mermaid's hockey puck and a high-end sex toy.

i like it.. i bought the samples of all three opals and its probably my favorite. to me it smells like versace crystal noir just considerably weaker and without the coconut. theyve both got this delicious spice and almost unisex quality about them

I received a sample of this. It starts out light and fresh. On the dry down it starts to get a bit powdery. It ends up kind of musky and floral. I get a coconut note here. (I understand when people are saying it smells like suntan lotion. The more I wear this, the more I think it is kind of sticky and not a fresh fragrance.) The dry down turns to straight soap. I don't think this smells like KKW Kim/White Diamond. That one is much more floral. I think this is a fine enough for daytime, not offensive. Just don't think it's anything special. Doesn't last long. Not very complex. Not fresh enough. Smells stale. This one is forgettable for me, and kind of gives me a headache. Of the Opals Collection, I like Drip the best. (Even though that’s a Cloud, BR 540 kind of idea.) Update: This has grown on me. I think this works much better in Spring + Summer.

The reviews for this were extremely generous - this is not soapy or refreshing at all, and the citrus is so faint it might as well not even be mentioned. This is a pure hairspray scent (synthetic chemical + nondescript light watery floral blend), and nothing else. I tested this in the air, on a strip, and on my skin - same results all around. Felt like spraying myself with a hairspray bottle. Pure aldehydes (which aren't synonymous with soapy, to me)! The best part about this fragrance is the bottle design, which has a pretty iridescent sheen - but unfortunately, that's about it. P.S. This is currently carried at TJX stores within the US, in case you're curious about it or happen to love it! But if you're into "hairspray" scents, White Shoulders is far better than this.

This smells EXACTLY like Elizabeth Taylor white diamonds, not her other KKW fragrances that were more clean, soapy, floral Tuberose. This is more lily of the valley, powdery Tuberose. I just received it today, so this is my first impression. Not a fan so far. Will update later.

I wear perfume/cologne everyday. I have a big collection of fragrances (all on my profile) and a lot of kkw. Nothing and I mean nothing gets me the compliments that this gets me, especially at work. I think my body just reacts really well with this on? Regardless, the sillage and longevity are great considering the cost. A very fresh, slightly floral but overall soft fragrance that will have you smelling clean for a long time.

I wish the opening would stay. The opening has that citrus and ginger and the tuberose . But leaves with powdery vanilla tuberose
