Korloff

the notes pyramid set by fragrantica is WRONG, there is no lilac detectable in it and not named in the perfume description. also the stated basenotes in description are completaly missing here. i noticed quite often they set wrong the pyramid, it's better to read the description of the perfumes to get shure about the notes than trust in fragrantica's pyramid. now for this perfume, first thing: this bottle is stunning! sturdy and very luxury feel when you hold in your hands. the scent is very juicy fruity at the top, very refreshing and delicious. a velvety rose develops in her precioust way its smell and the ylang-ylang floats around whith its alluring powdery sweetness. the floral-fruity bouquet of violet and carnation with red fruit smells very powdery-juicy and caressing on the skin. this lovely heart aroma lasts quite a while untill the dusty musky-woodsy drydown with creamy sandalwood and earthy vetivier intruduces. a pure luxury feel perfume, longlasting and nice sillage! my clothes are smelling very creamy - slightly sweet and musky still one week after! amazing. a classic modern one which one suits for day and night, i would rather wear it in spring and autumn or mild summernights.

Talk about a hidden gem MY GOD!! This is sooo wonderful! The missing note in the pictures is 'red fruit' and quite dominant in this perfume. Hard to find sadly.

Definitely a winter fragrance due to intensity but could be worn on a cool spring day; huge aldehydes; vintage raspberry with a tartness, ylang, tons of sandalwood from the get go, musk, sharp vetiver and clove but well blended so as not to stand out but keep it from getting too sweet, floral and cloying; carnation, a hint of lilac; not powdery or soapy but sweet

Korloff is a sweet sweet spring and summer fragrance. It doesn't take itself too seriously but it's still very grown up, classy and worthy of spritzing it on you. It opens with mandarin citrus notes. Fresh and fruity. But they are over before you can say oh this is too fruity. The only other fruit are red berries which give it a sweetness that lingers for the rest of the time the fragrance develops into other notes. I can smell the rose and violet which are taking the lead among the flowers. The ylang-ylang and lily of the valley trail behind. I love lily of the valley and wish it had been stronger. But roses and berries usually do go so well together. A fruited rose with berry very girly very much a spring time scent of cheery energetic playfulness. When the fragrance dries down it has some good supporting base notes of musk, sandalwood and vetiver. These are all great base notes and keep fragrances from being too sweet or too airy. This is a well balanced fragrance of berries and flowers. I recommend it for day time wear casual wear. The price is good and it's a fragrance is very rare so you'll be about the only one wearing it wherever you go. People will stop to ask you what is that perfume you're wearing and when you tell them they will swear they'd never heard of it. I love when that happens. Great stuff. Love this stuff.

I used to wear this all the time my mum used to get it for me she bought my a box full in 2013 and she passed away in june 2014 I have been trying to locate it ever since it so reminds me of her and as I miss her every single day wearing it again will bring hrt even closer rest in peace my beautiful angel Simply the Best xxxxxxxx

why they didn't add until now (lady korloff) ? we smell it today & it was really cute & nice.
