Neroli Iris Eau de Cologne

Top: Bergamot, neroli and mandarin Mid: Iris, orange blossom, blackberry, dewberry and rose Base: Musk and woods Korres Neroli Iris body spray is lovely to layer over Korres Pure Cotton lotion. Wasn't lucky enough to find the Pure Cotton EDT anywhere online, but I read Ellina1984's post and figured that Neroli Iris would be very close. I can definitely smell the bergamot and neroli at the top, followed by the iris and orange blossom and a musky, woods dry down. It is a very clean scent, almost like laundry detergent. Possibly Febreze? I find that, upon comparing it to Pure Cotton, it is certainly missing the depth of PC due to its floral and fruity notes (dewberry, blackberry, rose) as opposed to the super powdery, yet earthy notes present in PC (cedarwood, orris root, sandalwood). I'd say that Neroli Iris is the younger version of Pure Cotton. Sweeter, less mature. Safe to wear anywhere, very inoffensive. I think wearing both together takes away from the Febreze type odor and just emphasizes the neroli and iris that both fragrances have. The incense, earthy elements from Pure Cotton help guide it in the direction of being a complex, expensive smell. The bottle this came in is very beautiful, especially being a body spray! You can tell that it is of higher quality. I can see this being wearable year round. Refreshing and clean in the summer and spring. Comforting and fluffy in the fall and winter. Perfect for those days you want to smell nice but aren't sure what perfume to wear. By the way, sillage AND longevity are incredible for this eau de cologne! I will definitely be picking up additional scents from this line! It's the kind of perfume everyone can smell around you...but not a strong one. Just a nice, light wave of fragrance. It seems very calming and uplifting at the same time. When I first put this on, I thought "oh my gosh, I have waited 2 weeks to get laundry detergent in a bottle" *facepalm*. But now I can't stop smelling my wrist. I like this one a lot.

A cross between last year's Summer Wood and Pure cotton, both by Korres. Citrus top notes,then earthy iris, powdery and dry. The drydown brings to mind body lotions in the olfactory range of Nivea and Dove. Suitable for the heatwaves, definitely! Longevity is really good, even though it is an eau de cologne. And the price is very low. A good one, all in all.

Great layering with Iris L' Erbolario, which intergrates the whole smell. Suitable for cooler days in the summer.
