Saffron Spices

It smells totally different fragrance to me as it is described. A heavy woody and spices fragrance, smelling like an Arabic perfume. I guess it has an Oud too. Good quality for the price. Longevity for 6-8 hours and a heavy sillage for 2 hours. It works good for cold days and clubbing

I have used it a few times by now and it smells very nice. It is something sweet but very interesting sweet, something like "higher tones sweet". My 50 ml amber bottle has this list: TOP: lemon essential, saffron, wild berries, HEART: cardamom, rose, iris, BASE: amber, sandalwood oil. Since this is very different from the list in this website, it should be added as a new scent with correct notes. From these notes I think the main ones are saffron and cardamom, maybe also amber, the rest are supporting these in a nice way but I don't smell them directly. Marine notes? Not for my nose to take it this way. But maybe there is something that is a bit similar to the "salt" note (strange name because salt doesn't smell) that I have smelt in other scents. On the back of the bottle the story mentions "aquatic world" though. For me, this is mainly an interesting and enjoyable, even luxurious floral scent. I feel it is more a woman scent so I am surprised this is advertised as for men.

I can't see any similarity to Bleu de Chanel either (I did not compare them side by side though). For me it smells like nothing else I smelled before (but admittedly, I am rather new to the world of frangrances). This is why I think Korres is such an interesting brand: they offer very exciting perfumes (at least in the men's section) for a very affordable price. I liked this perfume very much when I tested it and I now own a bottle of it. I wonder why there are not more votes for `eternal longevity', I am always stunned about how long lasting it is..

Despite the fact that there is a totally different note list, this fragrance seems to be similar to Ble du Chanel. It starts fresher than BdC, but the dry down is definitely the same. Very intriguing to have an alternative to BdC with more natural ingredients and at the half price. Thank you Korres!

This is not BdC - idk what it smells like but its lovely! Its saffron and marine notes - it works surprisingly well too!

I’m not sure if I have the correct version of this but it’s definitely called Saffron Spices. It’s one of the orange/amber clear Korres bottles and the notes listed are... Top notes: lemon essential, saffron, wild berries Heart notes: cardamom, rose, iris Base notes: amber, sandalwood Maybe the disagreement about whether this is similar to BdC is because of this? Because I definitely smell a similarity. I got this at Macy’s Backstage for only $12 (along with Saffron Tobacco, red bottle, also $12, smells GREAT and expensive) and there was another Saffron Spices in the red bottle version and I almost wish I had gotten both to compare. Also, I really like this, so if it’s the same, might as well have a backup. If I end up going back and it’s still there, I’ll grab it and report back. As far as the orange bottle version goes, I feel like I’m picking up on most of the notes listed on the bottle but I can also pick up what’s listed here, so now I’m confused. It’s probably just the same scent and they repackaged it. As long as the note breakdown is in the ballpark, it's easy to be like "yeah, I smell that!" even if it's not the correct note breakdown.

Definitely not similar to Bleu de Chanel. In the first minutes its nice the smell of the medicine safron similar to the safron smelled in Oud Royal from Armani Prive (i compared only the safron note,not the amazing Oud Royal as a fragrance itself). Its pleasant although not a compliment getter. Would not recommend a blind buy but if u like safron/marine combo you gonna like it. Longevity and sillage is not the best

This one is a 50/50 for me, at first it does remind me of medicine a lot. After it wears down a bit, the saffron is still the main note, but you can feel a bit of roses and aquatic smell to it. I'd say go for it if you are a fan of saffron

I compared Bleu De Chanel and Saffron Spices both on skin and on paper and the only thing I can see a resemblance in is the ocean note and maybe a little bit of pink pepper and cedar. But the dominating accord here is saffron, which gives the fragrance a sweet, creamy and soft spicy touch. Sadly no alternative with more natural ingredients to Bleu de Chanel.

I've got the new version with the square orange bottle. I grew to love it, it stayed untouched in the cabnet for more than a year. I do not find any resemblance with Bleu de Chanel (we have it too at home and I made a direct comparison). It has the vibe of Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver, the same mineral and salty sensation.

Absolutely no resemblance with Blue De Channel. This fragrance is what its name says. Spicy and heavy on saffron. Great value for money!
