Update after a few weeks: a true gem! one of the best classic yet original men's fragrance also, lasts all day Update: after two samples and trying it at the store, i pulled the trigger. Amazing one! It is really up there and it is everything you hear or read about. It is quite amazing, long lasting, different, strong, very masculine. It is fresh, deep and could be the best blue fragrance out there.

This scent is fresh and spicy with an elegant touch, made way before Cartier Declaration. A formal wear scent, I like to wear it in the winter and fall but can wear in all seasons. Oddly enough there is sweet element to this fragrance, I believe it’s the caraway and neroli but the sweetness isn’t overbearing because the spicy notes cut through and woodsy note tones it down.

I have just taste it in NY ... And then read that its ia clone of Cartier declaration... Well, even when i have been an enemy of these kind of comentaries... The true is that it's almost identical. of course Krigler long last much more. and the price es 3 times more... as it last.

A few years in and updating yet again my review. Just got my second bottle and that is maybe all you need to hear. This is an amazing and unmatched scent. Powerful, beautiful, masculine, confident but also very comforting. Incredible play on vetiver mixed with green citrus.

The price is REDICULOUS!!! But nobody else has it. It's warm and great for summer. I feel guilty with two sprays. My husband wears it with DB01 or Intensia. Otherwise, it gets too floral. It's an amazing fragrance. It's also a small invesment! lol

The best Krigler freshie for men. Splendid all day performance as well. But, scent-wise it's not anything unique warranting the hefty price tag.

Juice of the gods! Worn by Hemingway and JFK. Obscenely expensive. Cartier’s Declaration Essence is SO similar!!

This fragrance is a time machine. When I first sniffed it, it brought me to my childhood. Lithuania was a part of USSR then, and we used to receive packages with gifts (mostly clothes and things) from our relatives living in the USA. I clearly remember the scent of clothes received from our relatives and I suddenly found this scent in America One. This fragrance is kind of clean, but with some pleasant and unexpected citrus-spicy notes. Very American, very interesting! Staying power is great.

I liked it and thought the performance was good, but my girlfriend thought it smelled feminine. Also, the price is insane!

I bought a sample directly from Krigler. IMO it is identical to Cartier Declaration (not price-wise of course).

I really wanted to like this scent. First off it does remind me of a few other fragrances that I have either owned or sampled Ormonde Man, Declaration, and I think I have to put Reflection in there. The quality is 100% there. It has a presence and two sprays maximum for a guy like me. My issue with this is the Neroli. It is too much for me personally. The Neroli in this dominated the dry down on my skin. Very soapy sharp almost waxy is how I want to describe it. I do like several Neroli fragrances but this didn’t sit well with me. If you like the white floral aspect of Reflection Man ( I do not ) you might like this.

Right, it smells just like Cartier Declaration. Also the company is giving me Creed, Eight & Bob feelings. Ben Krigler - Elle Magazine June 2nd 2023 “This is how I became an American,” Ben declares. This perfume was worn by Ernest Hemingway and later John F. Kennedy—“He was a big fan of Hemingway. He was on vacation in the South of France and came over to our lab; when he heard this perfume was actually intended as a gift to Ernest Hemingway, he wore that fragrance. This perfume is known as the President’s Scent.” I don't believe a word of this.

I recall smelling this at a little boutique in the home alone hotel by central park, you know where I'm talking about. It was hard for me to take the place very seriously. But the lady handed me a little card with this sprayed on it and I have to admit the spicy, tenacious freshness of it really intrigued me. I'm not sure if I found it that attractive. I will have to explore more of these fresh fougere type fragrances for comparison, maybe "Declaration", but this definitely stuck in my memory.

This scent has a top slot in my collection because it smells very unique and luxurious . The projection is amazing along with 12 plus hours of lasting power. The smell is difficult to describe but if i could use one word its wealth.

ALL I KNOW IS, IF PAPA HEMINGWAY WORE THIS IM IN!
