Absolutely beautiful. No too in your face floral. It sits close to the skin like a whisper. Wish this had more longevity for the price point. Just a quick update as I have been wearing this regularly. I asked my husband what he thought. As me sniffed me he smiled and told me I smelt like I had been eating pickles! Could be the combo of mimosa and musk with my body chemistry.

I love the lactonic and powdery elements to it, however it lasts nothing on the skin, and therefore I don’t think it is worth the investment. Beautiful for the ten minutes it lasts, though.

This is so beautiful. It has no sharp edges. The longevity is criminal. If it would last longer or have a good amount of sillage, it would be signature worthy.

I ordered a sample of Chateau Krigler after reading about niche perfumes online. It's described as a light floral and it really is very delicate. When I first put it on, I enjoyed the fresh flower/citrus scent but then within minutes it faded. I reapplied several times and it seemed to stay on my clothes longer than my skin but I was a bit disappointed that it didn't have better staying power. I guess that I expected a more expensive perfume to last longer. If I wore this often, I'd want to keep some with me during the day so I didn't lose the fragrance completely. Something interesting about this perfume was the very slight undertone of asphalt. It's that smell you catch when you drive by a truck laying fresh asphalt. At first I couldn't place it and then I realized what it reminded me of. When my husband smelled it, he thought it smelled like rain - or more specifically, the scent of rain when it hits hot asphalt. I don't mean to imply that it smells bad. It doesn't. In fact, that slightly different note adds a unique edge to the perfume. If I were wealthier and didn't have to worry about blasting through a bottle of this perfume quickly, I'd buy a big bottle. Update: After trying about 10 more niche perfumes, I've come to the conclusion that Chateau Krigler actually has more staying power than most. I tried another spritz of the perfume tonight and I'm still enjoying the unique and lovely scent. I found a heavily discounted bottle on ebay and am eagerly anticipating its arrival.

Starts off rosy and white-flowery, then it's all mimosa (especially on the skin).. Fairly simple but REALLY good! Probably my 3rd favorite.

it's elegant and fresh ..i like putting it on after a shower.As for staying power ,it lasts for an hour or so .

Very upbeat classy vibe and great for going to dinner parties or music functions. The mimosa can be much on the nose at first but then it settles down. The projection last for about a good 3-4 hours possibly more, for I become nose blind to it after hour 3. I use this often so I would say it definitely worth the price if you like to go out a lot and it’s amazing scent to layer. I love layering this scent with Krigler Sparkling Diamond.

First, when I read the name of the fragrance I thought it's gonna be like a castle - strong, heavy, dark, something oriental, but to my surprise Chateau Krigler is rather a castle's beautiful rose garden :) Rose is the most prominent note on my skin together with some flowery accords, which are blended into a nice garden scent. Very elegant, fresh feminine fragrance. The staying power is good.

Right now I am reading a new book by Louis Bayard called Jackie and Me, a fictional account of the friendship between Jacqueline Bouvier (before she became Mrs. Kennedy) and JFK's good friend Lem Billings, written from Lem's point of view. In it, he mentions Jackie wearing Chateau Krugler 12. Whether she did or not in real life, I do not know.

I am not paying from 60 to $100 USD for a 2 ml sample of a perfume that Grace Kelly wore one night back in the 1950s. I don't care how good it is. That's insane. I also dislike almost all of the fragrances that members list as similar.

This was the fragrance Grace Kelly wore the night she won an Academy Award for Country Girl. If it was good enough for her...
