Zen Rain

To my nose, starts out like Ivory soap (spicy/clean), dries down like a pared-down China Rain (muguet, clean, green, musk), and the late drydown has bit of Kuumba Made Water Goddess (sandalwood-musk-powder). Very light and close to the skin, but lasts all day. A good no-brainer scent for when you're not sure what to wear or need something with a light trail.

Very special, and gives me such a comforting feeling. Love it. Lasts very well, and I get lots of compliments. It's very natural smelling, and I feel like myself in it, like it's part of me, and me it. Very zen.

I migrated to this one after I could no longer get Terra Nova Rain. It's pretty sharp, piercing and strong so I could see how it might be off putting. I can't believe there isn't musk listed in the notes as this definitely has noticeable musk throughout the entire life of the scent. I mix a small amount of this oil with Kate Spade Walk On Air perfume to tone it down a bit and the dry down is a green floral musk. I have to be in the mood to wear it but I do believe it leaves a fresh clean scent trail.

This does give off a harsh, floral soap vibe but I still enjoy it because of associations I have to using this in high school in the late 90s. There's definitely an aquatic note that captures a certain kind of rain - like a heavy, cleansing rain on a warm spring day. On my "like" scale of 1<5, this is a 2.

A beautiful nice fresh clean light floral soap that doesnt smell soapy. It's not soapy in aldehydes or screetchy but it smells like a clean baby to me. Nostalgic and nice but doesn't project in the oil that I got. Will be keeping though
