A friend of mine opened a niche perfume shop. He chose to sell this brand and I think it’s a very good choice. Some creations are centered around rose, some around iris and some around patchouli. I have a very strange relationship with patchouli. I love it but somehow I feel like it turns kind of sour on my skin. With Patchouli Sichuan, that’s completely different. I have to say I don’t smell so much the top and middle notes. I’m drawn very quickly to the base notes where patchouli is definitely the star. Benzoin and tonka bean make it very sweet and soft. It has a very good staying power but I’m not sure it projects a lot. If you like patchouli and you want something soft and cosy, go for it!

This is an outstanding niche house which creates unique concoctions of a raw noble material (rose, oud, iris, patchouli) which personality is enhanced by diverse spices (different types of cinnamon, pepper, coriander, saffron) revealing multiple facets of a single ingredient. I’d say that all their perfumes are beautiful, I loved the natural and elegant feeling them give off, but my favourites are Patchouli Sichuan, Rose Cannelle and Iris Baie Rose. Really original and singular creations🌹Patchouli Sichuan is natural and elegant. Beautiful for cold and wet days... and love how it gets sweeter as soon as it starts drying down... Really original and singular creations🌹from this brand!

Patchouli, amber, vanilla. It is Patchouli Leaves from Montale turned gourmand. Too sweet for me. Reminds me of Mugler Amen and Angel. Too gourmand.
