La Collina Toscana Iris of the Signory

Iris della Signoria Perfumer: Paulette Laropoli I agree that this is a dreamy iris-tuberose concoction, a bit intoxicating. When I smell this I picture a garden, just like the garden from Katy Perry's Wide Awake music video, or the mystic forest from Maleficent the movie... It's blue-purple picture, with stars peeking from the night sky. Usually I wear something heavier at night, oriental and boozy, but this for me can definitely be worn at night. It's a really nice perfume, with medium projection and longevity.

this was indeed a surprise... first, it starts with lightly sweet transparent jasmine tuberose combo. adds creamy powdery iris during the drydown. fresh and calming... it sits very close to skin. the scent is fleeting, but i dont mind, as i enjoy the fresh top notes very much.

Quite a hidden gem this one. Iris of the Signory is a very beautiful powdery white floral. Softly sweet, a harmony of iris and creamy tuberose, with a delicate background of apricot fuzz and vanilla. I was extremely surprised by how full bodied this scent was, it smells high quality and is comfortable, but without a certain sameness that it could have had as a powdery floral. Projection and staying powder are both very good and it's not very expensive either. Very nice indeed.

Iris pure. Very nice, but meybe too strong. Not sure if I do not get tired of it.

First impression: The opening is a burst of white floral dominated by jasmine. The projection is very intimate, it stays close to the skin. The overall notes are well-blended into soft, comforting, and pretty scent. It gives off a girl-next-door vibes. The base note is kinda vanilla-ish, which I like! Smells similar to some vanilla-based perfumes I have tried and liked. Given the price and the heavenly scent I sniffed on my wrist, I was definitely thinking about purchasing the full bottle. However, after a full wear test I liked it less. I don't know if it's my skin chemistry, the unfamiliarity of white floral fragrance, or just my personality in general that made this perfume somehow smelled funny on me throughout the day. Such a shame how I wanted to like this beau so bad. If you're into white floral frags and already used to wear them as your daily perfume, trying Iris della Signoria won't hurt. It's a suitable daytime working-at-home perfume. This EDT is affordable, smells lovely, and stays for more than 5 hours on skin. What's not to love?
