Thank you to La Fleur by Livvy for the opportunity to try this fragrance. This was my favorite of the bunch, though all of the scents are lovely. Fleur d'Aspiration is a beautiful tropical floral scent that conjures a tropical rainforest or jungle when I smell it. Frangipani dominates the scent, with the sharp top note of bergamot detectable for just a short time after application (typical of a citrus note). If you love the lush aroma of frangipani or big white flowers like gardenia, this scent will resonate with you. Sandalwood is a perfect base for this aroma, infusing its warm, woody tones with the dewy floral aroma. Fleur d'Aspiration goes on strong but settles in an hour or so to a pleasant moderate sillage, and lasts about five hours on the skin (maybe a bit longer before the sandalwood fades completely). Overall, a very pleasant fragrance especially well-suited for women. Its tropical warmth was welcome in the wintry weather but these aromas are perfectly suitable for sunny days of spring and summer, too.

This perfume made me really nostalgic! I couldn't pinpoint the flower. Honeysuckle? Gardenia? Neither of those seemed quite right. When I looked at the notes and saw plumeria it all made sense. I have been to Hawaii several times. One particular trip when I was 12 years old stands out most. When we landed in Honolulu, my mom bought plumeria leis for me and my brothers. That's when I discovered their beauty and scent. And then I just remember stopping to smell them as often as I could--they were so unlike any other flower I had ever smelled. Fleur d'Aspiration smells like a plumeria soliflore, just pure flowers. It literally smells like a warm, humid, island breeze. It's positively captivating! Edit: I wrote this some time ago, but I want to add that I now own a webshop and stock this fragrance.

I wonder if the sample I'm trying is mislabelled or spoiled. Intense, somewhat meaty sandalwood. No discernible floral or citrus notes.

First thought - my sample is spoiled. Smells like rotten flowers. Staying power is very very low. I dont like it.
