Peony Blossom

OMG this parfume is so good. I found this by a coincidence. And since I love the scent and look of the peony blossom, I thought; "Let ́s give it a try." So I blind bought 100 ml of this. I haven ́t regretted buying this. The beautiful scent of the pink peony blossom, with just a dab of Jasmine, vanilla and musk, what ́s not to like?!

This perfume smells like sexuality and money! I love it!

This is a bit sharp for a few seconds and then becomes very light, beautiful and feminine. I pick up the jasmine and violet and the musk and vanilla but not really peony. My mother grew loads of peonies (still does) in our childhood home and they never really smelled. I guess it’s a variety thing, but I don’t know what a peony actually smells like. It does sit very close to the skin so if you’re looking for a light fragrance, this is lovely. I’m typically not a light scent wearer, so I’d have to overspray the heck out of this to get my personal desired performance. I’d say the longevity is moderate to light. Very pretty and delicate.

Lovely fragrance. Nice bottle. Have the EDT but it doesn't last. Have to re-apply. Doesn't smell powdery to me but can smell the pear.

Opening made me sneeze- I feel like pepper may be missing from the notes? Dries down to a safe basic musky floral, without being powdery. For me this is just okay. Smells a bit vintage.

Peony may be an artificial note but it's not a fantasy note. Peony is one of the most fragrant flowers, if you've ever smelled one you know how intense the fragrance is. Not all peonies smell, though. I think Fragrantica misnomered it because "Fantasy" notes are often notes that don't exist in nature. Some flowers have no scent so perfumers create a scent that they think it should or would smell like if it were to smell. Peonies definitely do smell, I had a peony bush in my backyard and every June they would bloom and were intoxicating with their beauty and scent. The petals are probably too delicate to extract fragrance from, but we definitely know WHAT they smell like. Dahlia, tulips, hibiscus, and sunflowers are fantasy notes because the flowers do not have actual scents to them. Sometimes the leaves can be used, but not the flower itself.

Wow. This is Pretty!. This Perfüme makes me so Happy. My father(R.IP.) was a farmer. In our private garden. A special place. He cultivated a grew a farm row mound of giant lusch (fuschia colored) peonies. I had completely forgot all about them. Until I got my first wiff of this lovely juice.It literally almost put me in tears... Happy tears. Thank you La Perla for the long lost memory.

I feel like the name "nectar" would fit this better than peony blossom (remember peony is a fantasy note). It does carry the same vibe as Elie Saab Le Parfums, not the Eau de Toilette version thou. It's sticky sweet upon firsr spray Similar to lots of other reviewers, this scent almost has no performance on me. Expect it to disappear in like, 15 mins?

Hello Perfumistas. I was wondering for those that said this was very similar to Elie Saab. If you could please tell me IYHO. Which one you prefer? They're both on my list to buy. But I would rather not be redundant and buy two very similar parfümes. Thank You for your time.

It doesn't smell anything like Ellie Saab to me. It has nothing to do with orange blossom, even if it's listed as one of the notes. It's a rosey, peony aroma that's sweet and pretty. It's too light though, it would be lovely for a little girl.

I dont get a lot of projection from this scent on my skin. First minutes yes its nice summery scent, then it disappears.

Fabulous. Love the bottle reminds me of art nouveau look. Great fragrance. Lasts the day.
