Absolute Sport

This is one of the best fragrances from La Rive. I own both Chanel Allure Homme Sport and La Rive Absolute Sport. My latest experiment was to compare them both, and sprayed them on my arms separately. They last the same time on my skin. After 3 hours it becomes a skin scent. In regards to smell.. Well, they are not 100% identical. Chanel has more Citrus, and La Rive is a bit more sweet. I would put the La Rive version in the middle of Channel Allure Homme Sport and Channel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. But it is far more identical to the first one, than the latter. There are some notes I actually prefer in the cheap La Rive version rather than the Chanel version. Do not shy away from this cheapy. It is most excellent "quote Bill & Ted"!

Another very good cheapie from La Rive, very close to CAHS. It's a typical fresh care scent: cool, citrusy and a bit powdery for me, but in the best sense of the word. Really good value for the price.

Extremely close to Chanel Homme Sport EDT. Of course it's not long lasting but for this price you won't get anything like this.

Caught my eye on Jomashop, well... the price did. Lol. I came across it looking for "sporty" frags. Just received it today and initial impression is positive. +1 for the actual scent. It smells damn near like Missoni Wave, and close to AHS +1 for the bottle. It's actually quite heavy. maybe -.5 as the collar was busted, will have to glue it back together +1 for the value. I think. Smells like anything in the $20-40 range TBD - Longevity. It's not a very projecting fragrance so far. I do have dry skin right now though and it's competing against the other frags I bought and sampled. Overall, looking forward to dousing myself in this over the next week and see if I like it End of year update: It definitely performs to the level of it's pricetag unfortunately. I can spray this 10 times for a great initial experience. After 20-30min though, Poof! gone. I've been leaving it in the vehicle for a quickfix frag and trying to drain the bottle. Won't be buying again, rather pay double and get a more inspired and longer lasting CAHS clone.

I agree with most reviews down here : the opening is nice and really have that CAHS and Missoni Wave vibe, but it quickly fades away and start to smell pretty cheap and generic. I get arround 3 hours of longevity with a soft projection (overspray it, you won't choke anyone). Also, even though it has an aquatic vibe, it doesn't turn weird on my skin, wich would usually happen with this kind of fragrance. Overall, for 7 euros, I think this is fine and actually fits its name : it's good for going to the gym, especially if you don't want to use an expensive fragrance for that (but there are probably better options for a bit more money). Hopefully, maceration will improve it. Update : It did improve ! 6 months later, the scent has improved, the longevity too. For the price, I would definitively recommend !

This is such a hilariously good clone. The smell is actually pretty good, not alcoholic but quite obviously a good take on Chanel homme allure Sport. I personally dislike the original sport version flanker compared to the original. But this one I would definitely wear in place. It lasts about as long as room spray but good clothes freshener.

One of the most suitable cheapies for after shower, gym, and quick store shoping, it does it job for 7$ very well, not that much synthethic (at least not in the air), it lasts 40 mins with moderate projection, it should be sprayed at least 10 times, an overspray wont hurt cuz its so fresh something between versace pour homme and allure.

Not bad. It gets most of the top notes of AHS correct but lacks some of the tonka bean and creamy drydown, but not bad for 10 euro. Solid value for money and a good clone in my opinion.

I bought it for 10$ thinking the worst but it’s not bad actually. Fresh citrusy with a bit of pepperiness which I like. Very weak performance but for the price what do you expect

Smell very close to Missoni Wave, but weak performance, i mean you can get 3-5h longevity but projection is weak, after first maybe 30min its skin scent. but cost 7-8 euros.

Chanel allure homme sport for a fraction of the price. Doesn’t smell cheap either and actually has decent projection. Very nice👍🏼

Smells extremely close to CAHS and Missoni Wave, really nice dupe. Performances are low but for 5€ it's a no brainer. 7/10

actually smells pretty good, zero longevity or sillage but what do you expect from a 10$ perfume

I got this is at Rossman (Germany) on discount for literally 5€. Who cares about longevity and sillage. I will spray this 5-6 times in a day. It's fresh and oceanic. Honestly that's all I could smell amongst all the notes mentioned, citrusy and salty. Please don't say it's an Allure Homme sport dupe. I have only tried the sample of Allure at an airport duty free. That's quite a memorable perfume. I held that strip for days sniffing it like an addict. This one is nothing like that. But for the price I have no complaints. This is my go to perfume for running and after workout. Fair warning: before you smell this just let it breathe for a minute, if you don't want to be fainted by it's strong chemical like opening.

Quite close to allure homme sport and by extension missoni wave. I am quite impressed and it's the first la rive fragrance for men (I don't think this is unisex) that I've liked. Longevity is really poor on my skin, although I will give it some time to mature and come back to this review then. Still, please don't be an asshole and overspray just because you had to get a dirt cheap fragrance. Edit: longevity is still pretty poor. If you want a really cheap summer fragrance this isn't bad, though. Smells pretty good.

Good citrus perfume but its very weak and I feel like it needs a lot more depth. If you go to Normal to buy this just don't. Buy rogue or the arab dupes they have (like 9pm or Asad). This is like a perfume you buy just because you wanted to buy a perfume

Reminds me of Allure Homme Sport, a cologne I find okay.

I haven’t smelled the OG in a year or two. But from what I remember LA Rive is very similar. I would say in terms of quality there is not much in it. When it comes to longevity and projection I would give it to CAHS hands down. Nevertheless I would get this La Rive for 7€. It’s nice and refreshing for about 1-2 hours.

This was a gift my lover gave me as a joke. She knew I wanted to smell it because I had been meaning to buy the original Allure Homme Sport, but didn’t have the time. She found this one at a cheap, Target like store in Europe. I was amazed at how similar it was to the real one. I tested them side by side, and it’s a great clone. The only difference is in the drydown. The freshness fades quickly, while the original stays fresh throughout. This one disappears completely after about two hours, whereas the original lasts around five. Still, this holds sentimental value for me. It’s the first fragrance anyone has ever given me.

The opening is very similar to Channel Homme Allure Sport, but after some minutes the quality drops and it starts to smell cheap and somewhat generic. Longevity too isn’t as great as from Channel. Not a satisfactory dupe, even considering the price tag. La Rive has better dupes.
