Borderline Neroli

Love love love! Borderline Neroli has very quickly become my absolute favourite. The balance between the tuberose and the neroli is everything, a perfect counterpoise supported and held together by the fig and bergamot. It's everything all at once - bright and clean, yet sexy and seductive. Milky but not gourmand, soapy but also a little dirty. Unusual combinations perfectly balanced, which means it's versatile enough for any season, for daily wear or special occasions. It lasts a good 6-7 hours on my skin. Projects well without being too shouty. You can really smell the quality of the ingredients. The vintage apothecary style bottle is just gorgeous too. Perfection. I wasn't sure initially about La Serra's concept of mental health conditions, thought it was a slightly pretentious conceit, but I think I understand where they're coming from and the artistry can't be faulted. I've tested Obsessive Leather and it's superb too, would love to test the others in the currently very small range.

To begin with, and definitely not by chance, the bottle is absolutely beautiful: elegant, eye-catching, stunning!! It’s the very first thing you notice, and it’s exactly what made this perfume catch my attention in the first place. The scent itself is delightful. Although the name makes you expect a burst of pure, sunlit neroli, in my opinion the tuberose accord takes the lead, giving the fragrance a deeper, creamier, more opulent character, with a sensuality that leans slightly feminine. The neroli stays a bit shy, but it’s very tasty, a little green, and incredibly luxurious. What truly wins me over, though, is everything behind this perfume, a clear example of what artistic perfumery really means to me. It even comes with a little booklet explaining the notes, their origin, their sustainability... that extra dose of transparency adds so much value. You feel part not only of a scent, but of the entire project. I really wish more brands that call themselves “niche” would take note.

This was an instant love for me!!!! The tuberose and fig and neroli ... It's soo addictive! The warm base is kinda similar to Tuberose Astral by Maison Crivelli which is another favourite of mine, but this one is fruitier and more fresh. LOVE IT!

my favorite neroli fragrance ever !! a very well blended neroli-tuberose combo makes one of the most fun uplifting gentle scents...not a beast mode fragrance, its made to uplift your mood.

This is a beautiful quality, super clean, surprisingly loud on opening, citrus and neroli forward scent. A true unisex, and infinitely wearable. Was it is not, however, is particularly stand out. If you already have frags like Kilian's Moonlight in Heaven, or even Lauder's Bronze Goddess, you may find you don't need this one. It is a good one though, def worth a try

Victorian & French era jasmines... I love how elegant, and quite vintage dense white floral this is as the jasmines blooms when it cools down keeping the green neroli at the back while it is side by side with the tuberose. The bottle is marvellous as it reminds me of "Amore & Physche" by Palissier from the movie "Perfume", & the "Borderline Neroli" i believe it could resemble the scent of "Amore & Physche" minus the rosemary, cloves, & the storax balsam that is in "Amore & Physche". Beautiful.
