Amberbomb

A very potent Tom Ford-esque leather-amber combo, for those who are interested in an alternative to Ombre Leather. I mainly get the leather, amber and cedar with a tiny bit of Tonka and musk, which together create a very dark, warm and mature aura. Accidentally sprayed a bit on my rubber watchband 4 days (!) ago, and I still get accidental wiffs. As with all Laboratorio Olfattivo scents this treads the fine line between niche and more accessible scents, with a great overall package for a fair price. Definitely getting this.

Takes my favourite combo of iris+amber+tonka (le Beau le parfum, iris de Gris) and adds coffee licorice and leather to take my signature notes to a more serious, intense, elegant and imposing variant. Awesome performance. It's exit is truly an explosion, the coffee and fruits take controll, reminding of a coffee alcoholic drink. As it settles down the iris-amber-tonka, the leather notes and the woods embrace te coffee for the many hours this lasts on the skin.

Very wearable, warm and almost sweet. The sweetness never overpowers the dark woody notes here, though; the sweet florals add complexity and intrigue to the woody musky base notes. For me, the longevity was really impressive. I could smell it on my skin after a full day, and on textiles, it lasts for more than a day! From the name, I figured this would be a more “aggressive” amber presentation, but to me it's a rich, slowly evolving, well-balanced woody, lightly floral leather scent. I can see how this could become someone’s daily go-to.

I tried this yesterday with 3/4 sprays on my arm. I liked the scent profile, it is smooth creamy & inoffensive. It dries down to musky sandalwood base. I did not detect fruits at the opening & no leather at all. Performance is average at best. Suitable for all seasons & office use as well.

Wow! This stuff is nucleaire! I have never smelled a fragrance like this before. This is a bomb for shure.. The first one of the Extreme collection. Well Extreme is an understatement. I spayed one spray on my wrist and after a shower I even smelled it at the end of the next day 😳. The smell is at least as extreme as the longlivety. There is so much going on with this fragrance that you don’t have a clue what to smell exactly. Do I like it? To be honest.. it is very challenging. I appreciate unique compositions, but this is heavy. If it was music I would say it is King Crimson or Frank Zappa kind of stuff.. Totally not office safe!!

First impressions from an official sample are positive. Nothing baryardish at all about this one. Quite smooth amber throughout, some cypriol and fruits at the top, developing into a soft iris, leathery/musky base that is pleasantly sweet. From the notes I was expecting something in the vicinity of FM's Promise, but Amberbomb is much more subdued (not much of a bomb after all). I think this one is unisex and office-friendly.

I will never ever purchase anything from this brand again. To make a long story short: I initially ordered Vanagloria Extreme from a boutique in Paris, having previously tried it, in a local department store where I live. The day finally arrived when I got the fragrance and it was so weak, that I simply had to return it to them. The boutique kindly offered me something else from the Menu, this time Amberbomb which they praised, whereupon I gladly agreed and having read about it on Fragrantica. Needless to say, I was very much looking forward to be bombarded by amber, coconut, plum and coffee and of course some leather. But first and foremost, Amber. Well, I got the Amberbomb today and what on earth was that! This is Orto Parisis' Cuoium on steroids. Leather, leather and some more leather. Oh, I'm sorry, it's even worse than Cuoium. I should have said like Falcon Leather on steroids. That wet, pungent leathery smell, that actually makes me nauseous and makes me want to run in the opposite direction. If you love your leather dripping wet, with a touch of mould and dare I say: a touch of vomit. There, I said it. Absolutely rancid, my friends. I know, I know. I really should have known better, because this was more or less a blind buy. So much for trusting the sales assistant in Paris, who went on about "the Ambery Heaven". Any pros, you might wonder. Well, it does project quite a bit or should I say like crazy, and the scent trail almost made my colleagues heave on the floor. The you have it, my friends. A scent that can only be worn by count Dracula!!

Such an ugly thing Animalic cypriol leather amber. In the ugliest way possible Even i as an animalic notes fan find this unpleasant. That opening doesn’t exist btw its just marketing to encourage blind buying

Nada impresionante, es como una copia de gucci Gulty absolute pero opaco, menos escandaloso y mas aburrido. Es bastante caro este líquido para lo que ofrece, recomiendo probarlo antes de tirar tu dinero

Holy Amberbomb. This is a concoction. I’m still not sure whether I severely dislike it or if I’ve accidentally developed Stockholm syndrome for it. One thing is certain: it does not go unnoticed, and “bomb” is honestly an understatement, this is more like a controlled demolition of good judgement. If you’re looking for warmth, smoothness, or a gentle amber hug, this is not it. This is a tug-of-war between woody-leathery spice and a piercing, high-pitched animalic note that shows up like it has business in a completely different fragrance, slightly pissy, oddly fresh, and kinda offensive in a way that keeps you sniffing anyway. It is confusing, unapologetically loud, and what you get in the opening is basically the entire story. There is no soft landing, no polite evolution, just the same chaos, slightly rebranded, for hours. Performance is absolutely unhinged. Nuclear projection and absurd longevity. This will outlast relationships, house moves, and probably a couple of personal growth phases. It doesn’t just wear on skin, it occupies real estate. This is very much a “beast mode” fragrance. Masculine-leaning, aggressive, and demanding attention like it’s late for something important. You don’t wear this casually, you enter a legally binding agreement with it. I own a full bottle, and at this point I’m convinced I will either finish it in 2087 or pass it down as a cursed family heirloom. Do not blind buy. I repeat: DO NOT blind buy, unless you enjoy being personally haunted by your perfume choices.

My nose does not match the list of notes nor the reviews below mine. There is some leather but mostly I am getting amber, tonka, vanilla and citrus. That is the opening , which lasts for an hour. After settling down straight leather. This is a pretty blatant example of false advertising in a name. This is not an amber bomb. This is a leather bomb. Being a Laboratorio Olfattivo product performance is above average.

This is not an amberbomb, but a leatherbomb! From the first second, leather (which is supposed to be a base note) breaks through and overpowers all the rest. Later, when the scent settles on my skin, I can detect some other notes - mainly plum, strawberry and patchouli. This fragrance is masculine-leaning and firmly aimed at leather-lovers. Excellent projection and longevity.
