Booster de Lacoste Si hay una fragancia que pueda mencionar como mi fragancia firma, ésta es. Desde que la descubrí (hace ya 10 años) no he dejado de amarla con profunda locura y ella no ha dejado de ser mi preferida a pesar del tiempo y del cambio que trae la moda. Para empezar, deseo resaltar una de sus principales características y virtudes: su aroma es ÚNICO y NO se encuentra ni se puede comparar en estos tiempos con algo igual. Su olor es inconfundible y realmente diferenciado, al grado de que así uno no quiera se verá resaltando a donde vaya. Otro rasgo definido y característico es su acorde ultra herbal y super fresco... es como ingresar o aparecer de golpe, de un momento a otro, en medio de un inmenso bosque de eucaliptos y ser golpeado fuerte, pero amablemente, por un viento que baja de una montaña fresca, el cual se mezcla con las hojas. El resultado es una experiencia única en verdad. El exquisito olor va perfectamente equilibrado con una base suave amaderada y su punto final cítrico que la hacen una fragancia ultra versátil, capaz de ser un excelente aliado durante todo el año. En mi experiencia me ha servido muy, muy bien y dado grandes cumplidos tanto en invierno como en verano, tanto durante la noche como también durante el día. Su tiempo de duración (6 horas aprox.) y su estela son realmente sorprendentes, que hasta imitan muy bien un EDP. Su comportamiento es el mejor (en mi humilde experiencia) en relación rango/precio. En resumen: una de mis joyas, por no decir que es la joya de la corona. Inolvidable, exótica, exquisita y que vale tener en el armario para atesorar. Toda nariz no debería de irse de este mundo sin haberla probado.

Booster is more of an aromatic green with citrus undertones,but anyway... This really invigorates and kinda reminds me, at first anyway, of a steam room with all the eucalyptus and menthol vapors rising, but the cool very real smelling mint and lemon (rinds, most likely) keep it from being TOO sharp. This is a great wake-up scent for mornings you wish you could stay in bed: sharp greens, bright citrus and some nutmeg for warmth-very nice! The grapefruit and spices balance each other in the heart and there is something almost sweet and floral in there as well. The drydown is a woody musk that finishes it quite calmly and is oh so manly. Sillage: great Longevity: above average Overall: 4/5 I got this because I thought the bottle was cute (and like almost all Lacoste scents), but when I first sprayed it thought I had bought some muscle rub or bug-spray; though that quickly subsided as it began to develop. This is a nifty sprayer, cool bottle, not to mention a very unique scent; and I've grown to love it very much...a new classic!

I have the vintage version of this fragrance. It was a gift to my dad, he never used it so I claimed it as mine. To me, this is an neo-barbershop type fragrance, and does not smell outdated at all. The opening is just a bomb of Mint and eucalyptus, with a hint of tartness from the grapefruit and orange. The combination of vetiver, lavender and mint give off this clean barbershop vibe to me once it dries down. Not sure about current formulations, but mine projects like a beast for the first hour, after which it dies down a bit and stays the same way for about 6hours, before completely dying out.

I'm a fan of this fragrance. The first time I used it was in 1998, having been offered on my birthday by an ex-girlfriend. At first I was surprised by the different and very fresh aroma. I was already regularly using Lacoste Original pour Homme (1984) and expected something similar. It is in fact a fresh, unique aroma, as some experts in the field say - with a synthetic note. However, I highly recommend it. It is and will always be part of my collection, not only from the nostalgic side, but also from the quality that it still maintains today.

Can't really explain it but this is a VERY strange member in my collection menthol, minty lemon, wood fresh as morning dew on a sunny morning "if it's going to be a hot day this will definitely cool you off !!" (sorry...sounds like a bad commercial) cloying ? very easily in case of 'overspray' subtle & sophisticated ? NO WAY subtle & sophisticated it ain't.... but in case you're still not sure....I DO LIKE THIS !! I spray it on hot weekend/sporty days with great pleasure !! :o) signed A moderate user.

This is a classic, and an excellent fragrance at its price point. It opens up very VERY ferny. As it wears down, it becomes sweet and citrusy, and will be gone after about 6 hours. It is, as the name implies, an excellent "freshen up" fragrance. It is both fresh, uplifting, and at the same time just earthy enough to keep it grounded. It is definitely a "manly" aroma. It sort of stands out as an oddball but likeable cologne.

I swear by this stuff in the summertime. Booster is an invigorating kaleidoscope of grapefruit, mint, camphorous eucalyptus, spices and herbs, some green galbanum, and a woody, grassy dry down. It picks me up, cools me down, keeps me from feeling lazy and hazy on crazy days of summer like this. There's zero pretense, its cheap and cheerful, unique, and it simply makes me happy⁠—and really, isn't that what it's all about?

One of my first fragrances and still one of my favourite budget summer fragrance. This fragrance reminds me of a tennis court in southern France. The fragrance projects pretty well for the first 3 hours before becoming an on-skin fragrance and Overall it lasts about 5-6 hours. This fragrance definitely shines in summer as its very light and green with a pretty prominent grapefruit and eucalyptus note.

An absolute, utter masterpiece for hot and humid weather, against fatigue, hangover or simply to freshen up anytime. The perfect fresh fragrance. Sharp, strong, special, long lasting and very cooling on skin. Bottle and sprayer are also fantastic. Not a nighttime or clubbing scent though. For daytime use doing sports, being on holiday or even in the office. Fresh Perfection!

One of my go-to spring/summer fragrances. Clean, green, fresh, uplifting minty scent that is a near perfect match if you're moisturizing with Proraso Green After Shave Balm Crema Liquida. Booster lasts for hours, has good projection, and is reasonably priced. I have the original P&G version which I've read is superior to the later one made by Coty. Spray and enjoy!

The new Booster is reformulated and ingredients and presentation are different from this one in the photo. I have this one the Original since 10 years ago. An it is one of the BEST fresh fragrances ever. Unfortunately it is from Lacoste but if this perfume had a name in his back as Chanel or Dior could have been easily the direct competitor of Aqua di Gio. Period.

Very, very refreshing. If it's a hot day, spray this; it will literally cool you off. The mint and eucalyptus is very unique. It left an impression on me the first time I smelled it as being something I've never smelt as a mens fragrance before. Smells like an expensive massage spa. I find the name very fitting; it boosts you, lifts your spirit and energy level.

Great stuff! Refreshing boost(er) of citruses, eucalyptus and spiced mint. Sharp and uplifting. Bit of a 90's touch in there bt thats fine with me. The sprayer works well and the bottle is nice and sporty. I like my fresh fragrances to be agressive and this one along with Hilfiger Athletics do their job perfectly! Steady Lacoste quality for a great price!

I love this perfume. I had it many years ago, but I can assure you I have never forgotten the smell of this perfume really cool. The bottle is also wonderful. I miss having this perfume that completely fills my tastes. Note also that this is a very unique scent that few people have, which is very cool.

Very interesting and unique in smell, the combination of eucalyptus and mint gives you a state of calm and relaxation. I could say that it is a perfume for "aromatherapy" sessions. Moderate performance, pleasant smell, ideal for those who are tired of what most designer houses bring out these days.

Just got this again after several years. Still is a really fresh and spicy perfume. Very pleasant with a laundry/clean linen vibe. I think that it's unique too. Lasting power and projection, I would say, are moderate. I love it and it's easy to wear any time. I think it's one of Lacoste's best.

I loved it. I had it a couple of years ago. It was such a fresh fragrance that would make you get going in the morning. As far as i remember it lasted for 3 to 4 hours. Projection and sillage was okay. Though there are tons of fresh fragrances out there, still i may like to have it again.

A fresh, minty start then a nice pleasing, slightly musky, fresh drydown that lingers. I agree, it's a good one for the morning. A very good one from Lacoste. The button on the bottle is great. I don't think those notes at the top are correct????

This fragrance just makes me happy. Its green, it is what the lacoste crocodile should smell like. I love the bottle, the color, the box, everything. Fresh, spicy, and classy. Sporty complexity with french exquisity. Adorable fragrance.

I have found this to smell very different on people. Smells deeply woody on one and then quite fresh on another. Either way, I like it. It is in fact my favourite smell. Ever. Out of everything (including freshly cut grass etc etc.).

Mint, citrus, eucalyptus, a little pepper maybe. Makes me feel like I've stepped straight out of the shower. One for guys younger than myself these days, but I still wear it from time to time at work. Beautiful.

A unique fresh citrus/herbal juice with bracing eucalyptus. Great for Summer. Has a nice spray action and a locking button. Performance moderate but OK

Overall a fresh and clean scent. I like it. Do not spray too much of ot though as it tends to get overwhelming. Excellent for warmer days.

An excellent, natural smelling fresh fragrance. The eucalyptus note is totally unique ! I cannot imagine anyone not liking this fragrance.

Great for extreme heat (100 F and over), simple citrus-y non-invasive and with good longevity even in extreme conditions.

Remarkably one of the dopest Lacoste fragrances amongst the regular, average collection they offer.

This is an odd one for the price range. On my skin, this has a very distinctly different opening, mid, and base. Fragrances around this price generally tend to blend all 3 together for me, or one note dominates throughout with only the background changing. Here, on the opening I get a very pungent blast of eucalyptus and mint with citrus in the background. This will likely be the most polarizing part of this fragrance for most people. Think Irish Spring meets a stick of Wintergreen gum. After a few minutes, that settles down into a grassy, herbaceous smell that is entirely different from the opening, with most of the Eucalyptus and Mint having gone away. This part is pleasant but a bit boring. Once the scent has fully dried down, I'm left with a pure, smokey vetiver that is highly reminiscent of Lalique Encre Noire. That's the only note I pick up on the base. This thing almost is 3 completely different fragrances in one to me. Pair that with the funky looking bottle and this one is definitely worth the $20 it costs at discounters even if only for the novelty.

I actually quite like this one. I was a bit worried about the toothpaste comparison, and while that does ring somewhat true, it's doesn't make it bad at all. The initial 'toothpaste' feeling happens immediately on first application during the opening. VERY strong green mint, but it mellows out within a couple of minutes and starts sweetening up a bit, possibly due to the eucalyptus or lavender. Projects nicely for about 30-45mins then turns into a skin scent for another 4 or 5. But you don't buy this fragrance to make a statement about how you smell. You spray this on for you and to get a nice 'boost'. It's in my opinion the quintessential gym fragrance. Incredibly refreshing, reinvigorating, and energizing. The name is very apt on this, it definitely does what it says on the tin. For the price point, this fragrance is well worth a try. The perfect pick me up after any sort of hard physical labor.

Booster is a fresh and citrus scent, with distinctive notes of eucalyptus and mint. Some say that this one reminds deodorant or detergent. Particularly, I also felt this when I wore my Eau Sauvage or my YSL Pour Homme, in which the difference is the lemon top notes, instead of mint or eucalyptus. However, this is only the initial sensation of the scent. Who knows a little bit about perfumery, also knows that we should not take into account the first minutes of application because this is not what will remain on the skin. With Booster is the same. It calms down and leaves on the skin a fresh and sportive aroma, which lasts for a while. Besides that, the bottle is amazing and creative. I like it!

Booster can easily be mistaken for an underarm spray that costs $2 or so. The mint gives it a bracing kick and smells OK, but not good enough to save this perfume for me. I don't smell any civet or oakmoss, just a whole blast of aromachemicals that are trying to be floral notes. I think sensitive people can get annoyed with you permeating their space with a good dose of Booster. Longevity is good, but I don't get much in the line of development. I much prefer Lacoste classic.

I like this one. It smells different than the rest of Lacoste fragrances. It is super synthetic and initially cloying but then it tones down. Too bad it sucks really bad at performance but I have "difficult skin". It just stops after 2 hours and even close to the skin it is faint. I use it after the gym so for the 20 minutes I have from the dressing room to my apartment's door it works just fine. Spend your money on something else if you are not that curious about it.

Fresca, con una excelente amalgama de los cítricos con la menta especiada, matizada acertadamente con maderas, flores y varias notas más, entre las que da el toque especial, para mi olfato, la mirra. Cada nota evoluciona a su tiempo en su lugar. Gran presencia, durabilidad razonable y excelente proyección. Cierto aire retro por la constante nota mentolada y ésto, para mi es un gran acierto. El mejor mentolado que conozco.

A nice soapy, citrusy smell. I like it. Great for the gym. I love the bottle: it looks like a fire extinguisher or garden sprayer which I think is pretty neat. And the locking mechanism makes it compact and ideal for the gym bag. But I prefer to leave it on display in the bathroom for my own amusement.

Lacoste Booster is kind of an odd scent. It's not particularly refreshing to me, even though it's minty. For some reason it fatigues me after an hour or two. It's one that I feel like I SHOULD really like, but that, if I'm honest with myself, I only minimally enjoy it.

When Menthol and Irish Spring clash..You Get BOOSTER! Not a bad scent at all..but does have a dated vibe to it. This is one I go to on occasion just because of simple enjoyment. Its a weird smell but its not a bad weird smell.

I used to have this fragrance back in the 90's. Recently i purchased mugler cologne and the drydown reminded me of Lacoste Booster and totally brought me back to my puberty. Thank God for olfactive memory.

The sportwear and confortable fragrance. Its longevity & projection are exceptional. A bit too powerful for me, that gives me headache. And it is more a young scent, in France. The first fragrance I got !

It may be a bit dated but still a nice scent. Basically it's all green, mint and eucalyptus and not much more. Longevity is at 8+ hours with average sillage. I like it but don't reach for it much.

I bought today a very vintage version of this,and i must correct the year of release of this,it is written 1994 Sofipar Made in France.

a classic lacoste scent. i used to own one but not into using one again, maybe in the future i will.

A nice fresh citrusy smell but lots of new freshies with more sophistication are around since it first came out. Recently bought it again for nostalgia and it’s unique bottle design great for everyday wear that will not offend anyone

Has similarities with Nishane Karagoz, Acqua di Parma Club(not the C.L.U.B). I don't know if i like it or dislike it but for sure it's different.

A youthful minty fragrance, not the best and a bit outdated but will do the job for a teenager.

I grabbed this while on the hunt for grapefruit fragrances, and I also love mint. Sadly, I couldn’t detect any citrus, and the mint only lends the occasional waft of toothpaste. The eucalyptus gives more of a sensation, which I can totally get behind. That part was really enjoyable. The problem comes with this sickly-sweet “chemical” note I can’t identify that lasts from start to finish. It conflicts with the idea of freshness while tainting the other ingredients. The vetiver actually seemed like it was going to jump in and save the day, but it couldn’t beat the plastic/sweet note that is the primary player in Booster. It’s worth a shot at the current price point, but it wasn’t for me.

Out of any fragrance I've ever had, this is the one I never knew very well. Didn't wear it often, didn't think about it... I just found it awful. Cloying, syrupy lavender with this moldy mint top. I love the smell of mint and citruses (who doesn't love citrus?) but this butchers that combination with heavy herbs and that godforsaken rendition of lavender. Bought it, sold it, don't miss it.

a x-girlfriend bought this this for me last valentines day.. till now she don't know i hate it and haven't wore it. its awful.. but i have had other women say its smells decent or smells pretty good. i dunno. maybe they like the mint-fresh like smells

This is not necessary a bad thing, but to me this fragrance smells like toothpaste. I like smelling this fragrance, it relax me but I don't see myself wearing this much outside of the house.

It's unpleasant scent,to me its smell like tennis court in door with citrusy.i felt the hint of salted lime or lemongrass oil extract.i don't like it
