Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Bleu Powerful

Fresh cucumber smell with some citrus, fresh and masculine , but very weak longevity and projection

Lacoste L.12.12 Bleu Powerful is a SEMI-SWEET - LIGHTLY-FLORAL - SOAPY FRESH - AQUATIC (Aromatic) About 80% similar to Lacoste L.12.12 Bleu Powerful Intense but Lacoste L.12.12 Bleu Powerful it's not as bubblegum sweet it's more citrus sweet. Starts off minty sweet (grapefruit) and mildly floral then gets real "bleu" as the patchouli and cedar create this aquatic aroma, through the mid all the notes start to blend well with one another to create an aromatic semi-sweet lightly floral fresh aquatic scent and when it dries completely the floral note is faint and almost barely detectable and you're left with clean slight soapy fresh aquatic "bleu"ness with a little sweetness that smells like an upscale body wash (a bit synthetic but nothing too off putting). GOOD SMELLING soapy clean fresh aquatic "mass appealing" frag, but nothing complex or unique, good for the gym or casual use. Not a very loud fragrance but isn't quite either. Projection/Sillage: DECENT; noticeable when first sprayed for about 2 hours then becomes more of a in-close scent. Performance/Longevity: DECENT; avg about 4-5 hours on skin, double that on clothes.

First spray reminded me of Eternity Air for Men with a bit of BBW Graphite, both of which I have. Dry down becomes full on Eternity Air albeit more berry-ish and a tad darker. Not really for scorching heat but for a more cooler summer days/nights. The berry/fruity nature is reminiscent of Davidoff Cool Water Night Dive. Can easily get lost in the sea of blue scents. Has a deodorant vibe. Whereas you can overspray Eternity Air, do not overspray this.

A great summer scent. A lot less watery and light compared to other freshie scents. It just has a notch more depth and spicy woodiness than a lot of blue, freshie, (almost aquatic?) summery scents which I have smelled. I believe that was the sage combining with the cedar. Value is ok, if you can find a heavy discount I would give it a try.

Fresh woody citrus. Not sure whether the designer has ever smelled mint but that's not it. Overall not bad, a green freshie.
