L'Homme Lacoste Intense

In one word, a Masterpiece! (Just skip the not so exciting first 10 minutes, then Enjoy!) It may take a couple of wearings to fully appreciate the beauty and sophistication of this masterpiece! In my opinion it's not suitable for the very hot weather despite the tricky fresh opening which starts to subside very quickly within minutes where the similarities to "D&G The One" start to shine. (bitter citrusy, a little smoky, slightly peppery, a little sweet fruity ambery semi-fresh combination!) which is quite versatile for all seasons but perfect for spring, fall and summer nights. Performance, while not weak by any means it's far from the best, projection is good in the first hour and OK for another half an hour then it gets closer to the skin where I can still get whiffs for another 3-4 hours, after that point it becomes faint but still detectable with very slight whiffs that stay for hours!

My favorite Rhubarb fragrance so far. It's the most sophisticated sweetness, with bitter and sour tones. The composition is very complex and well blended, very enjoyable, the Quince/Ginger alongside the Rhubarb gives it a unique DNA that separates itself from the classic Citrus/Rhubarb fragrances. Digging deeper you will find some warming amber/vanilla notes, with almond, almost creamy, a fresh opening with a warm sweet . Also very versatile IMO, works just as well in summer or winter, day or night, suitable for a signature scent. It probably took inspiration in Azzaro Night Time, but surpasses it everywhere, Lacoste L'homme Intense has higher compliment getting potential, more complexity, more versatility and better longevity. If you like rhubarb fragrances, a must try. If you haven't tried rhubarb fragrances, a must try also. If you like hidden gems, a must try.

Le crowd pleaser supreme! You simply can't miss, when you mash together YSL L'Homme, Bleu, Allure Homme Sport, Millesime Imperial and Sauvage all together you get this, by far the most coloney of all colognes that I have tried. But to be fair, I would pick this over any of the above mentioned. But onto the question everyone has in mind, does it last long? The answer is sadly, meh. It does last longer than the original, but that isn't anything to be brag about. For office use, it projects well for 3 hours and lingers around for the remainder of the shift. They will still be able to smell you if they bump into you or get into your personal space. As with many flankers, this is what the original should have been like, and there is nothing intense about this either except perhaps a bit woodier than the original. So I got this fragrance because I wanted free shipping, yes blind buy. I first came across this from a YouTuber no not Jeremy, no hate for the guy. What can I say? I love the opening so much! It's so many things to me, fresh, sweet and makes me smile. I was looking for a fall daytime fragrance to use any time. When I saw this on YouTube, I however didn't pull the trigger. I wish I did sooner, I smell the rhubarb, it reminded me of John Varatos vintage, if I recall it's used there too. Oh and the orange with the spices smells so good. To my nose I love it! Overall I love it however it performance is not the best, it's also not the worst. I've noticed what? Maybe 5 hours or so. I'll get hints of it if a breeze hits me, im sure i've gone nose blind to it . Would I recommend it? Yes! regardless if you like it or not for the price you can't go wrong.

This is "a different blue fragrance", which is great. At the end, it reminds me a little of Bleu de Chanel, due to its "creaminess" and "woodiness". However, don't get it twisted, this smells nothing like Bleu de Chanel or any other fragrance on the market. I love Lacoste tried to do something different here and actually achieved it. I'd say the smell changes over time (maceration), so keep that in mind. I know there'll be people that won't appreciate it for what it is, but for less than $50 USD this is a banger if something versatile is what you're looking for. Performance is really good on my skin unlike other fragrances from the same brand like Lacoste Blanc. Anyway, if the performance isn't good on you, you can always reapply it because it costs $25 USD on Amazon, DUH

I was happily surprised with uniqueness of the scent upon sniffed right at my hand. Totally new experience, new excitement and new database just stored in my mind. Never smell like this before. Salute Master Perfumer Michel Girard on this art of scent. Indeed it would be great in my fragrance collection. Allow me to skip on the review and description, thus i only want to share this is good. yeah it is good. Lacoste intense is not generic, its not ordinary. I wish one day the Parfum version will be produced for the greater longevity and more depth. Despite of EDT, the projection quite good for 2 hours, more least. Longevity around 6 hours. Ain't hurt for pocket, not a bad bottle presentation even though regular style square. Great and thank you for this!

I have this one already a year now. Scored 150ml bottle for 35 euros and after a year wearing this fragrance, i gotta tell you that was a big STEAL. The smell is amazing. Kinda unique for a citrus mass appeal fragrance. The rhubarb note is the game changer here. It's sweet, fruity, fresh and the ginger gives a nice bonus in the projection of those notes. Kinda woody on the drydown, with the fruits remaining till the very end of the longevity. It's difficult for me to find fragrances that last long on my skin, but with this one i take 10 hours of longevity with good projection for the first 4 hours! I have a decent collection (check it out) and this is my strongest performing fragrance so far. It was a like, now it's a love. I will keep buying it.

Smells amazing. Little sweet but not overpowering and not cloying. Very juicy opening. Soft projection and have weak longevity for me. I can't imagine the OG version it must be very weak. work on an occasion, it easy to wear, easy to like and mass appealing. It didn't last on my skin. I need to overspray to get better performance. Soft sillage for hours on my clothes. I dislike the opening(something sour) I think it rhubarb note. let it settle for 5 minutes and it changes to something that I really like, sweet woody and fruity. The drydown really good. Rating: 8.5/10(I really like this) For the price it really worth buy. Bring decant if you need to refresh it. I put this in same category as YSL Lhomme.

L'Homme Lacoste Intense is a fruity, woody, aromatic fragrance. Its fruity opening is fresh and citrusy, it contains some slightly metallic and spicy elements. Some time later, the presence of woody and musky notes increases, which give it a slightly creamy sensation until its drying phase. The fragrance is fresh and fruity, but not aquatic in style, rather a little spicy, which makes it suitable for use during spring, summer and autumn, for casual outings or even for use in the office. Its aroma is very similar to the original L'homme, although this version is a little more spicy. Its duration is approximately 7 to 8 hours. with low sillage.

What a great smelling scent! Truth in advertising, I really love the original L'Homme, so loving this is not a stretch. As mentioned by others, Intense does last longer than the original, but, unfortunately, it isn't a beast. Honestly, don't understand the hate. Sure this isn't a groundbreaker, but what's wrong with just smelling good..damn good at that? Sure, it's interesting when someone creates a scent that reminds you of old books or burning rubber, but is that what you want to smell like when on a date? Really? To me, pleasant and crowd pleasing aren't negatives, but rather reasons to buy.

I think this punches way above it's weight. Strong grapefruit citrus opening followed quickly by the rhubarb and peppery ginger. that 3 piece opening is just different enough to keep me really interested. With 30 minutes the florals come forward with the hedione doing the work. Not too long after your into the dry down. It's ambery and woody but in a cheaper sort of way. I was really hoping for a lasting amber/cedar/musk base on this. Layering this with a quality white musk might be the trick to take this from a 7 to a 9/9.5

One of the first colognes I purchased some years ago. The rhubarb note is so unique and clever. The only drawback to this is that it is so weak. Luckily it is cheap enough. Perhaps one day there will be a reformulation or higher concentration flanker released. I highly recommend layering this with Y EDP to make it last a lot longer and project more. This was my go-to combo for one summer. That also makes this just a bit more mature as well and takes it out of the teenager dept store vibe that it can give off.

This is a very well balanced,nice refreshing fragrance. Its just really nice to wear. A very versatile scent that projects confidence. True it follows closely along the same path as many of the fragrances mentioned below but it does not copy any particular one. This scent has enough about it to stand on its own and is well worth a sniff. Projection is decent around arms length for around 3-4 hours before it settles into a skin scent. Longevity was 8-9 hours. Very respectable.

Definitely a hidden gem. Nobody talks about it anymore. Thats when you break it out and remind everyone its still a banger! One of the few fragrances I have, that ive finished a bottle and broke open the backup. Killed a 3.4oz bottle. Just cracked my 5oz backup open. Man, this is some good stuff! Ive always worn cologne. Even as a young boy. This is one of my OGs, from when I went down the rabbit hole of collecting fragrance. Right around 2019... 7 years later..

Unique blend, smells like a sweet sangria of tropical drinks blended and has this effervescent vibe about it. You will stand out great if you wear this and not smells like everyone else. This is a great summer fragrance if you want to stand out. It smells very fruity/ sweet and with a touch of woods and and the quince note is just fantastic. I also pickup that rhubarb note and it smells citrusy and comforting and gives off a green vibe.

An intense version was necessary. An intense version of a Lacoste fragrance is barely just barely comparable to say a regular Azzaro or many other houses. This one lasts just enough to be satisfactory. I’m not impressed considering the intense concentration.. for longevity. But man, it smells amazing. One of my favorite scents out of the 25 or so that I have. I just wish it lasted longer. I’m lucky to get 2-3 hours.

I have around 50 fragrances and this one is one of the cheapest. But it is the only fragrance that I can't stop using. It smells so unique. Nothing like all those Sauvage, Invictus clones that are coming out all the time. The opening is just gorgeous. The performance is not the best but everything else is just amazing. The only problem with this fragrance is that it is not from the right house.

Smells beautiful. Fresh and crisp orange/grapefruit "shower gel vibe" with some dense semi-sweetness and woods. Very versatile for day and night, heavy and woodier version of the original with the same smell. Projection is acceptable and longevity is still not satisfying for an "intense" that is backed by synthetic notes but for the price it is a good opinion.

I liked the original release but found it to be rather weak, testing the intense against the original, i would say the intense is a bit stronger and even better, it start off with a fresh blast that quickly turns a bit spicy and you can smell the ambroxan and the almond. I loved this scent even if it reminds me of other releases, a crowd pleaser for sure.

The opening is simply magnificent. It’s citrusy and spicy and then it dries down to a nice sweet spicy combo that is best suited for warm weather. It’s projects well around 2-3 ft and longevity is around 8 hours on me. This is by far the best Lacoste cologne and is an easy blind guy if you are familiar with the prominent notes. Overall: 8.75/10

I have to admit I don't like Lacoste Frag, so wathery for me BUT, this Flanker Is the oppositive, OMG is a beast un performance, around 15hrs in clothes and 8hrs in skin, the sillage Is Pretty good and the aroma Is so so fresh and Woody with something citrus, I bouht a 100ml bottle and I Will repeat it, absolutely for me is a 10/10

I just got this scent in and wow I love it. Fresh clean scent, a little fruity up top but definitely puts off a white tee or polo shirt vibe. I would say you should buy this scent if you like Versace Dreamer, L1212, Mont Blanc Individuel or Boss Bottled Unlimited, this scent is the same ball park as those fragrances.

I think this fargrance is so unique... Smells like nothing I smelled before. I don't like the opening very much, it opens up a bit sour, from the rhubarb I think, but after it settles it is freshy/sweet with a loud quince note. As far as performance goes, I got 7+ hours on my skin. Great inexpensive fragrance!

Finally got a bottle of this after smelling it over a year ago... this is a slept on gem. Such a unique fruitiness up front that dries down to a spicy, woody, yet summery scent. Last time I checked you can still test this at Kohl's. I urge you to give it a good whiff!

I don't get why people say it's not original, I personally think that the rhubarb note makes it very unique. It is definitely a scent for a younger guy, it smells a bit like Fanta to me and I personally love it. A bright, light uplifting fragrance, highly recommend.

Good release by lacoste. If I have to rate top 3 lacoste fragrances, then this would be at No.1 followed by Lacoste L.12.12 Blanc and then Pour Homme. Longevity is decent and it protects nicely on my skin. Can be used in summer and winter.

People often resort to light fragrances during the warmer months. I like my summer fragrances to pack some punch, because it's not too hot where I live. This is Finnish summer. A relaxed Saturday noon, just having a lunch in the garden.

This kind of smells like fanta, but in the best way possible. I'd say it's a very youthful scent for the high heat. You can kind of smell the spices in the background, but the orange and rhubarb are still the most prominent notes.

Fresh-spicy and fruity, with just the right amount of sweetness. Gorgeous opening, sweet and fresh and warmer in the drydown. Crowd pleaser, easy to wear, and affordable. One of the best from current Lacoste's offerings IMO.

Very pleasant unique opening sweet and sour fruity spicy notes. The dry down doesn't perform well. I can't detect any recognisable notes/accords yet. All gone.

Lacoste L’Homme Intense opens with a sweet and delectable combination of mandarin and orange accords; the green and fruity accords of the rhubarb mixes with the citrus accords making the fragrance feel like a combination of citrus and other fruits. The opening projection is moderate. In just a moment ginger and pepper touches can be noticed. The almond note is barely perceptible. The vetiver and woods add a soft fresh woody and green accord which adds depth to the fragrance but just a soft touch. As the fragrance dries down, the initial moderate projection loses power moving down to a low projection fragrance, also, the notes blend into groups of notes losing individuality. The vanilla enters the blend with a soft projecting and aromatic accord and makes the fragrance mildly sweet. Once the fragrance has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a low projection, mildly sweet, fruity, vanilla, and woody fragrance with soft spicy accords. The fragrance feels modern, masculine, relatively fresh, light, sweet, versatile, a bit synthetic, weak, but pleasant. BATCH REVIEWED: 2020. WOW RATING: 4/10. It is a sweet, fruity pleasant fragrance but unimpressive. DISLIKE RATING: 0/10. This fragrance does not have any offensive notes. UNIQUENESS: 2/10. Another fragrance that follows this line is Hugo Boss - Boss Bottled Intense EDP which features apple, green orange blossom, wood, and vanilla, and, it does not feel synthetic. SUMMARY: A low projection, mildly sweet, fruity, vanilla, and woody fragrance with soft spicy accords. The fragrance feels modern, masculine, relatively fresh, light, sweet, versatile, a bit synthetic, weak, but pleasant.

In the last few fragrances that contain pepper, or peppery vetiver, I smell it in the very opening blast...and that's what is going on here to me too. It's classified as a middle note, but pepper is key in the opening IMO. I absolutely smell fruit, and because I'm a chick, and I am familiar with the Delina/Very Good Girl/Angel Nova sort of red-fruit-of-2020s DNA, I cannot help but compare this...but I'm happy to say, it truly *doesn't* compare. There are so many classically (who cares, if you're a woman and want to smell like this, go for it) masculine notes here as well, that the rhubarb red fruitiness doesn't veer into that pop-femme territory (again, wear what you love, if you're a dude and you want to rock Delina, do it). My husband doesn't prefer overly sweet fragrances though, but he enjoys this, and it's too masculine for me to want to wear personally. So, if you are concerned about the notes, and wonder if it'll come off too sweetly, don't worry. This has a dry texture due to the ginger, vetiver and pepper. The citrus is also hesperidic, and leans zesty. I can't believe how many notes there are in this, because it's really quite simplistic to me. There's a touch of a dry, pine needle smell, but most of the alleged components just aren't registering. It absolutely does remind me somewhat of Bleu de Chanel, but a little stripped down, more casual, even more refreshing, but more sporty. Not quite as upscale. But, Chanel frags often have a dry tone, I think this is why myself and others are drawing a comparison. What this is, is a great choice for hot, humid weather. Because this is quite fresh, clean, uplifiting and arid. In the PNW of the US we get muggy weather in late May-June, it would really shine at that point. Longevity is pretty garbage, I agree with folks. But at this price point and for the fresh genre that this belongs to, I think it deserves a bit of grace. It's still worth it!

Sweet and fruity woody scent. More amber and sweet woody tones so I am hesitant to say this is a freshy. These more recent releases from lacoste have some great blends and are really nice to use out of the shower and they will stay with you for at least a few hours. Projection is quite low, so this is nice for cool and warm weather wear when you have an intimate audience. It's a cuddle fragrance. If you want something similar with a bit more power, I would recommend Celebrate by Pepe Jeans. Fruity ambery woods is what I get in this after the initial fruit salad and ginger calm down. Ginger + vetiver here aren't as smooth as the oringial version of this scent, instead I get an aerosol opening but that fades after ten minutes and a really nice blend of notes remains. Like most Lacoste fragrances, this is pretty linear and easy to wear. Not a top 10 nor top 40 for me, but maybe a top 100 offering from this mid-tier designer brand ("house" lol). I think I may keep this. It's a good buy if you're looking for sweet woods at a good price.

A nice sour/sweet and quite juicy explosion at very first spray. Has a smooth slight green tone on that initial blast that mixes very nicely with the sour and slight sweet vibe. 15 minutes in it’s fresh, citrusy with a bit of the ginger coming through with a creamy like almond note, not strong but, just there balancing it out. After about an hour on my skin the citrus freshness is much more subdued and just a soft, woody sweetness lingers for the rest of the drydown that is very enjoyable. Maybe 6-7 hours of total duration from start to finish and that’s not bad at all. A very inoffensive scent that almost everyone will enjoy and will get you a couple of compliments along the way. Not a Gamechanger by any stretch of the imagination but, it’s relatively cheap with good quality ingredients and decent performance. This is great for the spring/autumn days and cool summer nights. A solid performer from Lacoste, period.

I have tried Lacoste Blanc before and I love it! I am now curious about its other offerings. Opening is sweet fruity citrus most probably with the same DNA as Blanc and would be a compliment getter on resprays. The difference is on the drydown where it gets a little musky spicy but still retained its fresh citrus scent. Although this is musky, the longevity would be almost the same as Blanc 3-4 hours tops. You will need more resprays here during the day. It can be used during the daytime but more acceptable in night functions compared to Blanc. It is a youthful night scent for senior high school students attending their prom or gala night. If you have Lacoste L12.12 Blanc, I probably wouldn't get this as it will smell almost similar with very little difference on the dry down. But if you just have money to spare and would like to collect fragrances of the same brand to look good in your collection, why not.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the similarity in the opening to bleu de Chanel EDT. The citrus and sharpness of the rhubarb hits in the same way. Then it quickly becomes a fruity scent. It's sweet but not bubblegummy. There are some woods underneath it all but they're not super realistic. More like a slightly synthetic woodiness but it's actually not bad. Would make a decent casual summer scent This is a mass appeal scent. It's nice you'll enjoy it and so will everyone else. Nothing in this feels unique except the rhubarb but it feels pleasant to wear. I've only tried a sample but the performance is not good. Right from the top the projection is low. It's a like but not a love for me, I'd buy it if the performance was stronger.

When the first time i sprayed it, suddenly my memories identified the scent i've smelled before and yes it remind me of lacoste elegance. My father had it and sometimes i used it. To be honest its not my typical favorite scent, really really woody bomber, blended with spices and also various of orange . At first 15 minutes i dont like the opening notes, but when it comes to middle notes i really apreciated it. It makes my confidence level increase and i feels like "Taurus Aldebaran" Gold Saint from Saint Seiya. Confidence and also tough like a rock. Good release from Lacoste. It can wear on office but not for casual (IMHO). Scent : 3,5 / 5 Silage : 3,5 / 5 Perform : 3,5 / 5 Long. : 3,5 / 5 Average : 3,5 / 5

This is a great mass appealing, fizzy spring/fall fragrance. I don't know which one came out first Bath and Bodyworks Teakwood or the original Lacoste L'homme, but they are pretty much 95% identical in scent/style with pretty much the same longevity which isn't great. Relatively linear after the opening. I would say this was a unique take on the retail box scent when it first came out but still generic mass appealing overall. Not that, that is bad, but you know what I am talking about. It is an easy reach for office/t-shirt/running errands. I would say this is a younger man's scent in price and smell. Not a mature scent for the fragrance lover that wants a more unique experience.

The people that said this doesn't last was not kidding. It's a 1-2 hour fragrance. Which is a shame because the scent is glorious... masculine, gentlemenly, and a different take on a summer freshie. The rhubarb brings me back to summer days as a kid riding my 10 speed bike (yeah I'm that young lol) by my neighbors rhubarb patch. It's unique but not totally unique because it does smell like a mixture of several heavy hitters (Bleu, YSL L'homme, Sauvage, etc) Some people are saying they get good longevity so take my review with a grain of salt. As always test yourself.

This stuff is killer! It smells just like the original L'Homme but way more powerful! This is a true intense flanker! For me both the original and the intense smell unisex. They do have a slight feminine smell to them but they are still great for a man to wear. This is sweet, it's floral and it's fruity. The rhubarb is a highlight and that is a note I'm a fan of and it's blended well with the other notes. This is a great composition for both men and women. You will stand out and be noticed with this so spray a boat load on yourself!

I used to own the original but it was to weak, so i sold it. This one on the other hand is a much better performer. I get 6 hours of solid performance. L ́homme Lacoste Intense is a mix of several other fragrances out there. L ́homme Lacoste (of course), Versace Dylan Blue, BDC, Van Gils Elite, to name a few. In other words, not a groundbreaking release from Lacoste. But, I like how it smells and perform. I think you could/should use this now, in the autumn. When it ́s, in most places, a little bit colder outside.

It's a nice scent, Fresh, Fruity, Spicy and Woody, A bit Unique and Mature, l love Quince and Rhubarb notes, This perfume is similar to Original but more fruity, spicy and darker. It opens up with like fresh citrusy , fruity and spices notes in the background then dry down is warm spicy ambery woody. In my opinion, It has a very pleasant dry down, This is perfect for the spring, summer and fall, Longevity is good. I really enjoy it and I like it, Highly Recommended. Thumbs Up. Rating : 8 / 10
