I've used this fragrance for some time now and I think it's time for me to write a review on it. First of all, definitely a summer fragrance. It is a fresh and fruity smell. I don't like getting into all that age stuff but it would suit younger people better, although, if you think that you can rock it anyway, go for it, I am not your mom. This has an interesting smell, it's just that the transition in-between the apple and the pine tree, it's unique. Considering that this fragrance is not doing good numbers, if you spray one on yourself, there's a high chance that you'll turn some heads. As I've said, it's unique, it's different and it's almost sophisticated (not so much though, if I were to compare this to, let's say, Tom Ford's Ombre Leather, this is nothing in terms of sophistication). If you were to ask me on whether you should buy this or not, I'd say go for it, there's a high percent chance that you'll like it. 8/10

I have worn this one for a long time and get complements on it all the time. The opening is clean fresh fruity, but the dry down is very different and leaves a nice trail. The patchouli and vetiver is dominate in the dry down and makes it very masculine. An awesome office scent. I just wish it lasted longer. Go heavy on the trigger for 4+ hours or re apply at lunch. I would also not be afraid to use this at the gym. The ladies that do not like heavy spicy accords will love this one, but the ones that like a frag with more depth, this will not be first in line. A nice blind buy! I am on my third bottle.

I use to work with a lot of women and would get constantly asked what I was wearing. Some men might not like it because it's fruity, but the base does add masculinity to the overall scent. This is a very simple, clean apple smelling scent. This middle notes and base give the apple smell a little more depth. After a few hours a lot of the brighter apple notes dissipate. It will still smell like apple but the base notes will be more noticeable. This is another scent wholly dependant on your overall body odour. The less you have, the more clean the cologne will be.

Hello to everybody, Hope to enjoy the summer holidays. As ALEXFK mentioned try to buy the previous version LACOSTE STYLE IN PLAY. Unfortunately Lacoste done a reformation of the perfume, changing the bottle the name etc. etc. I totally agree is a great perfume with a still affortable price, totally agree with ALEXFK. The only negative is the reformations that most of the companies doing ..... Best wishes, Emmanouil

According to me the Best Lacoste perfume followed by Essential. This may get you many complements from the ladies, however, let me give u a heads up this fragrance is fruity and you may end up smelling like an apple-pie garnished with spices. Somehow I kind of love this! Thumbs up.

Started wearing this since it was launched (2004) and oh my oh my...the best compliments i could get. it's so zesty i find that i'm so happy for the entire day im wearing it! haha... 2-3 sprays and it lasts and stays strong like it was just sprayed on me! I would give it 10/10

This is a strange one... I like it but its kinda girly and would suit a woman better.. However it is a nice smell but performance is naff... About 2 hours on me.... But overall you get what ya pay for.....

Yes, it lacks performance, but this is criminally underrated for the price. Easy to wear everyday fragrance that kinda stands out from the other "everyday" fragrances. Fruity, woody mass appealing work.

Strange perfume. y dont understand why i love it. jeje and the ingredients that appear in this review i dont smell any of them. is nice to use if your 15-25 years old.

Great scent! Fresh, fruity, youthful, and mass appealing. The apple note reminds me of apple cider, and the woody notes give it some refinement. However, the scent isn't ground breaking, or the most unique. Although admittedly, I can't think of a mens fragrance that is that heavy on the apple note, but I suppose the idea of the scent isn't that complex. Performance isn't that good. Projection is decent for the first 2 hours and then stays closer to the skin till the 4 - 6 hours. Not the worst performance for a summer fragrance, but not the best either. Ideal for warmer weather in summer and spring. Ideal age group is <25, although it could work for up to 35 for casual use (this shouldn't deter you from using it if you are like it). Could also work for the gym if not sprayed too heavily, as the apple can be a bit sweet. In my opinion, for the price it goes for at discounters, this fragrance is a good deal, despite the performance issues.

This is nice, but in the heat (25 degrees is heat where I live) it doesn't last longer than a couple of hours on me. Lovely apple smell - I don't smell much else. If this stayed on me longer, i'd buy it again, but unless I find a way of improving it's longevity, and I will wear it when it's cooler too, I won't buy a second bottle as I need a minimum of 3 hours longevity to even consider a re-purchase. But it does smell nice. Edit - Topped up and spent afternoon indoors - it's a very faint skin scent 6 hours later whereas in the heat their was no skin scent after 2 hours. Not a huge projector after 2 hours, but it's still there, not that you'd notice it unless you glued your nose to your arm.

Mass appealing, classic and fresh; Green Apple is sooo refreshing. I don't think that its too sweet. However, the performance is absolutely unacceptable. It might be related to my batch, I'm not sure, but longevity and sillage was non existent... I got maximum 2 hours of longevity with ZERO projection. If the performance wasn't an issue, this fragnance easily could get 8 out of 10 for me. Recommend it but set your expectations low and use it as a aftershave splash...

Fruitchoili, for men? You bet. Zingy, semi-sweet granny smith apple is where the excitement begins; hints linger well into the slightly earthy, piney and quiet dry down. Lacoste put forth a great effort making this one stand out in a line of otherwise mediocre scents. Fresh, playful and unique, this scent is ideal for casual wear on a warm summer's night.

The scent - 8/10 Longevity - 3 to 5 hours Projection - mid at best This very good for a casual outing to the mall, errands, or just chilling at home. Probably won't get you too many compliments so keep that in mind. It smells good not amazing but if you don't want to try hard then this is perfect.

This is smells like a katana that has cleaved through sweet and sour Polish apples in the midst of an evergreen Portuguese wood. Sporty, just like the swordsman, and fresh like the fruit. But like the fleeting moment of a swift swing of the blade, the scent is gone with the pips of the apple.

What the guy below me said. Back in the day it was great. To be honest it still smells delicious, it's like a fruity gourmand fragrance I just want to eat the smell. Anyone over 21 should avoid it and find something more mature. Great gift for the younger man/teen/boy.

This fragrance is very fresh. The scent of the apple resonates throughout. It can be a little bit overwhelming. If too much is sprayed. It doesn’t appear to be one of the top sellers... I am surprised that is still in production.

Not for everyone. Don't blind buy. This was my daily wear in the early 2000s. Very fruity a bit feminine but girls loved it back then. 20s me would still rock this. 6/10

Fruity and feminine. I honestly thought this was a women's perfume when I tested it. If you bought it blind then give it to your little sister or something.

I tried a paper strip on a store without knowing the name. I thought it was a women fragrance. It's a really pleasing smell. It's fresh and fruity.

Sad review coming up; The good old DNA, but watered down. Sadly not strong like the original. I tried out “La Rive Red Line”, which has a similar performance for 1/6 of the price. Currently arguing with myself whether the “La Rive” one actually smells a bit closer to the OG. A Lacoste perfume is supposed to make you feel like an appreciated customer, but all you can feel after spraying this six times, just to witness it vanishing within 30 minutes, is regret and disappointment. A weak shadow of its predecessor. Just shameful.

Coty appear to have reformulated this fragrance almost out of existence. It starts off beautifully with a fresh burst of red apples, but within 30 minutes, it has practically disappeared. Zero sillage, 30 minutes longevity. If I had paid for this, instead of receiving it as a gift, I'd be very disappointed. What's the opposite of beast?

okay spring / summer scent, smells just green and clean, does not last AT ALL you probably wont get any compliments with this, sort of like a out of the shower walking around the house scent.

Nice warm fruity smell, longevity is lacking 30-60m and it's pretty much a skin scent...

Teenagers go smell nice. Adults go buy something else.

It's okay, It smells green and spicy. Smells good for summer weather, but performance is bad. Not everyone will like it. 5/10

I have to add my review on here for this particular fragrance. I came across this scent in 2018 in college while sitting next to another student in Algebra. I don't ever and I mean ever ask what a person is wearing but I had to. He wore it everyday, and the scent was very alluring and it intrigued me. I asked him and he told me and not gatekept it. He told me that's the only fragrance he's ever worn because of the compliment factor. I believe him, it is soft to the nose and pleasant. I received it as a Christmas gift because I couldn't stop talking about it and I wore it a ton and it was my most worn in 2018 and a small time in 19. I just picked up a bottle of the newer style as you see on this page. The older style bottle performance was just as bad as this one. I also believe nose blindness is part of it. I don't understand why people are complaining about performance, fresh and fruity scent profiles usually don't last. Why complain when you have a collection? You'll never finish the bottle, and this scent is versatile and any age can wear this. Perfect in any weather situation and perfect for dates, especially the first one, and perfect for close intimate situations. You know how many times I got told by girls how comforting it is? It's alot. Yeah they just changed the packaging and increased the price a bit but you know what? Who cares, I'm glad it's not discontinued and that 4.2 oz is going to last me.

Weirdest thing. The deodorant version of this had amazing projection and longevity, while the EDT version was below average on both. Anyway, I used to like this right after taking a shower at the gym. It gives you a fresh and sporty feel. However, it's also incredibly synthetic, the fruit notes (which dominate this fragrance) almost smell as fake as fruit flavored bubblegum, and overall gives me a migraine, hence why I stick to niche. But again, the deodorant was weirdly enough much better than the EDT, so if you like this, save money and buy the deo. If not, it's a pass. EDT: 6/10 Deodorant: 8/10

This entry has notes EDT too sweet, a little fruit but they dominate the sugar-rich fruits I think, in their grade point average begins to appear a mixture of dry wood with sweet, it is strange but not unpleasant, the base notes become odor dry wood and simple. I think it is very suitable for young men, for sport and casual outings, the combination is fine but not very smart does not work so well for more formal events. This scent works best in warm or temperate climate. I remember as a very fine version of Axe Vice.

I bought this for my boyfriend because I love the way it smells. I think it smells great on him but he's not much into scents generally- so sad I don't smell it more often. It has appley fragrances in it which I think are really sexy and while masculine it doesn't smell like some strong musty fly spray stuff like many men's fragrances do (-sorry guys). It's nicely warm and spicy while keeping freshness. Perfect and intimate.

I don't quite think that this perfume is for youngsters or for those young at heart. I think it's the most decent one from the whole Lacoste range for just one reason: It's totally unpretentious and it does not try to be something more than a pleasant and very comfortable scent. Enjoy it's simplicity and you'll understand it's intentions.

Boring ass cologne ... this is no unique cologne ... smells very fade ... does not hieghten or climax your smelling senses ... very airy ... its avg because it's a boring cologne ... sorta like .... "oh he smells good" kinda cologne ... not that ... "WOW, what is he wearing kinda cologne" ... I give it a 6/10 ...

I generally like the Lacoste men's fragrances, so its no real surprise I like this one. Really nice for the day, and lovely for summer nights. Has a nice appley zing to it which distinguishes it from other men's day fragrances.

I totally love this! I remember smelling this from one of my college classmates. smells so manly and I love that smell! been using it for almost 7 years now... silage is really good too (even with the hot Philippine weather.

Nice smelling fragrance if you're into floral & fruity scents. Not something I would personally wear and seems better suited as a car fresher as it has that typical apple & pine scent associated with pine tree car freshner

Beautiful fragrance, terrible performance. You will not get what you paid for. Go for adidas victory league instead, 95% the same, but one third of the price.

Not very strong, but smells good. It reminds me of I Am King by Sean John. Soapy citrus fresh. It’s not bad for the price.
