Electric Purple

yummm.. very aptly named fragrance! 🫐🌿⚡ The earthiness and green notes keep the berry notes fresh throughout the wear on me. The top notes are super fruity and delicious, citrusy grapefruit with an undercurrent of berry. I can also detect a bit of mint at this point keeping things fresh. The dry down gives mostly the black currant supported by the earthier/greener notes. The moss really shines and rounds things out in this composition. My favorite moss note I’ve come across thus far! I'm loving this in the cool fall season, but I'm also excited to see how she performs on a warmer day! I would imagine warmth can really open up this fragrance! This is unlike anything else in my collection, and I found it for a decent price off ebay. :) Office friendly for sure and not a super in your face kind of scent. Longevity is pretty solid (8-12h) and I've really been enjoying this fresh berry profile!

a rich and luxurious olfactive experience, distinctive. it makes you feel like you're a modern-day goddess, angelically so. berries and fresh mint that turn to citrusy patchouli and dry down powdery but fresh, elevated. the packaging and the bottle are out of this world. i think it's best fit for the warmer seasons, the heat seems to bring out its entire delicate yet complex story.

I just received a sample of this. In the opening, it reminded me of the tart red fruits from Show Me Love by Escada and, in the drydown, of Stunningly Venice by Zara—both of which I own. It’s a nice, fresh, fruity, musky, and slightly tart fragrance. However, as long as I have the other perfumes, I don’t need this in my collection. I also have Amethyst by Lalique and a sample of Meliora by Parfums de Marly. When comparing all the ones I mentioned, Stunningly Venice is the one that comes closest to Electric Purple. Meliora and Amethyst have more of a blackcurrant smell; Amethyst is the greener one of the two, while Meliora is the sweetest. Show Me Love is only similar in the opening with its tartness. That said, Zara has discontinued Stunningly Venice, so Electric Purple is your best bet if you’re looking for something similar.

Insanely pretty. No designer black currant compares to this. Its like a bowl of wet mulberries and black currant. The base is a bit earthy but the top and middle notes are smelled all throughout wearing it. Asolutely stunning scent and the bottle is divine!

Nobody does Black Currant like Nathalie Lorson. Refreshing, fruity, zesty and uplifting. I got the bottle for a really good price too. 😊
