Imperial Green

Its a shame this doesnt get more attention I really like it. Its very unisex, leaning slightly masculine. Its orange blossom & lavender are the strongest notes I detect; as others have mentioned the vanilla isnt listed but on the website from Lalique vanilla is in it, but just slightly. Its very floral, crisp & moderately sweet. I agree with what others state, its very modern spin for the usual Lalique DNA; which leans slightly older & traditional mens perfumery, yet this is a modern mens DNA meets old. Its orange blossom is very similar to YSL Myslf & Le Male, but more for men in their late 20s to 30s. Its a shame Lalique's newer releases this past decade arent as popular, they've got some sleeper hits! HOWEVER, for the price of 200$ U.S.D i wouldn't get it, but this can be found at discounters for less than 70$ u.s.d & that's worth it! Very nice bottle & packaging! Definitely like this. Another positive is Laliques customer service is AMAZING, its like the customer service you'd get in the 90s & early 2000s. Love them

The first time I tried this, I wasn't that impressed by it (maybe I was orange blossomed- or patchoulied-out at the time). However, Friday was one of those cold damp overcast days that needed a bit more light so I decided to give it another go. I'm so glad I did! The orange blossom is front and centre at the start, but as it progresses the scent takes on a feeling of oily warmth that sits well on the skin, with a smoky tickle behind it. After a couple of hours I couldn't stop sniffing my arm. The smoky patchouli comes to the fore eventually, but stays sophisticated. Fragrance is detectable until the end of the day. It is expensive, but it smells expensive (I've tried similarly expensive fragrances that smelt a lot cheaper). I have a small vial and while I'm not planning to buy a full bottle, I would if money were no object (but then if money were no object, I might well live in a mansion with a perfume cellar so, you know...).

To me it smells like a floral/green masculine scent, with lavender and orange blossom being more prominent. Quality is very good and it's definitely a step above chemical-smelling designer fragrances which become boring rather quickly. I can see this working in daily use and office settings, and it leans dressier (may not fit a white t-shirt and jeans look). As a bonus the bottle is gorgeous and the inner box can be re-used as it's sturdy and has a magnetic cover.

Unfortunately I only have a sample of this, but I can say for sure that if I had the budget, I would run to buy it! The smell, the smell!!!! A pleasant spring scent with a combination of floral notes. Very soft and elegant but not last long, too soft for me

You know how some people hang lavender in their wardrobes to deter moths and keep their clothes smelling fresh? This perfume is like leaning in to smell a washed, premium white shirt infused with lavender. It's soft, soapy, and lavender, with hints of citrus. And when I say lean in, I'm saying it literally as the projection is very intimate, at least on my skin. The somewhat natural feeling makeup of the smell and delicate properties give this fragrance a rather professional character. It's elegant and calculated, suitable for the office, or for casual spraying when you don't want to stick out too much. It's not bland, as there is some charm here, but it's not overpowering, making it a good bottle to have on hand if you can get it at a good discount. I just wish the performance was a little better, or that it had a note that would break up the meticulous-feeling, safe scent profile.

Cute citrusy scent with some soapy and sweet notes. It’s fresh, but still very much floral with lots of lavender. It’s actually a pretty perfume for a guy (sometimes in between classic and modern types of fragrances). Follow me on IG: scent.guide

It reminds me of a lighter version of Libre YSL. The notes presented here are not very representative, and you can find an updated version on Lalique's official site. I consider it unisex and wear it at the office.

It's pretty, but not groundbreaking. It's similar to Versace Versense, which is one of my favorite summer fragrances. But IMO Versense is better and with better longevity.

Passing by the airport, I was introduced to the 3 latest releases of this line by a eager saleswoman. Picking this one out because of the name and beautiful teal bottle, I regretted it the moment I smelled it. For some reason Imperial Green is a very bright ambroxan bomb, with that overtly showergel like vibe throughout blending with lavender top notes, and some nondescript woody notes in the base. I also get some vanillic sweetness and tonka nuttiness as it develops. I get a gut wrenching reaction from this type of scent and the taste of an oddly sweet and bitter soap in my mouth. Were this in the Z&V line I would have considered it acceptable but at the airport it retails for 160 euro aka almost the price of a Chanel Exclusif, am I missing something here?

The orange blossom in here is the exact same orange blossom as in Myslf and Thameen Royal Sapphire and it’s absolutely all that I can smell. It’s not a bad fragrance. It’s definitely “pretty” and can maybe lean feminine because of that heavily floral note but I’d still say it’s unisex. I think it’s definitely better than Myslf and an exceptional value at discounters. I just can’t imagine myself ever reaching for this. If you like Myslf you will probably like this.

Sharp vanillic lavender with neroli support, over a bed of nose sharpening chemical thing (ambroxan I guess). At the corner of PdM Layton and Prada Luna Rossa, with poor performance. No need to say more. Not sure what is the point of Lalique to issue such a fragrance, at such a ridiculous price point. I wouldn't want that, not even if I bumped on it in the bargain bin at Marshall's (and that is also true for Layton and Luna Rossa). You got it... it's a hard pass for me!

This reminds me of a stripped down, bluer and higher quality version of Le Male. I think it's out of character for Lalique to do this type of scent profile (maybe) but I like it and it wears really well (good performer too). With scents like Encre Noir, everyone will expect Lalique to do more dark, niche scent profiles and this will be scandalous (for them). Easy to wear modern versatile fragrance, best for casual day wear.
