I think it's the best out of the whole line To me it's soft & creamy, not sure it resembles BR540 Upd: very slight resemblance

I can't tell you how many times I've sprayed this on in different shops, just to convince myself I love the scent enough to buy this absolutely gorgeous bottle. It's the prettiest bottle I've seen and I feel like a magpie every time I touch it haha. The scent is nice and crowd pleasing, but not distinct in any way. I would go as far to call it plain boring. It's a soft musky white floral perfume, juicy on top. Delicate and warm, a bit creamy. It's quite strong in the beginning with average sillage, but fades after mere 3h, no matter what season it is. It's still quite new and because of that the price is inflated. I'm going to wait for the price to drop and then get it for displaying, and perhaps sometimes for its intended use.

Soleil Lunar by Lalique opens like a prism catching first light on water: a sparkling floral overture where citrus and petal shimmer in tandem. The mandarin here is wonderfully juicy and fresh‐sweet, all dew and sun‐warmed peel rather than marmalade density, lending the scent a bright, almost effervescent optimism. Pink pepper edges into the top, not as a dry, dusty tickle, but as a fresh, rosy‐spiced outline that sharpens the contours of the fruit without ever becoming sneeze‐inducing. Around them, magnolia appears not as a photorealistic botanical study, but as an impressionist wash: strokes of creamy white, hints of green, a suggestion of lemon‐tinged petal, as though glimpsed through gauze. Quickly, the composition yields to its true sovereign: Lady of the Night, the key and star of this fragrance, steps forward in full regalia. She is creamy, exotic, white‐orchid‐like, yet more complex than any single flower could claim to be, a composite of facets assembled into a most divine and enchanting floral note. All the nocturnal white blooms seem to whisper through her – jasmine’s intrigue, gardenia’s plushness, orchid’s chill poise – but she remains resolutely herself: aristocratic, original, and very much the central figure of this olfactory tableau. Heliotrope gathers at her feet like a soft velvet carpet, grounding and gentling the radiance, its almond‐powdered sweetness forming the perfect backdrop to highlight her hauteur. It never competes; it frames, soft-focuses, and in doing so enhances the Lady’s luminous profile. As the scent develops, its character reveals itself as “elegant with a twist”: refined in bearing, yet unwilling to be predictable. The intensity is striking – the fragrance possesses great presence – yet its projection is moderate, more a cultivated aura than a shout, as if the wearer moves within their own private penumbra of light. Soleil Lunar is most memorable in its emotional temperature: sunny and uplifting, but not shallowly cheerful; there is a serene joy here, a sense of inner brightness rather than simple sparkle. The floral heart, buoyed by that creamy Lady of the Night and padded by heliotrope, feels like sunlight filtered through silk curtains, soft yet radiant. Beneath this floral radiance, the base notes draw a different kind of landscape: ambrette and musk paint a “cool spring” backdrop, silver waves flowing quietly under the warmth above. The musks are clean and fluid, and ambrette adds that pale, vegetal‐skin nuance, like the sensation of cool stones in a shaded stream, lending the composition an airy, modern weightlessness. Moss introduces a light woods accord, young and supple, bending in the wind rather than rooted and ancient; it gives the structure a subtle greenness, a sense of fresh bark and tender branches rather than temple‐like solemnity. The result is a base that supports the floral star without dragging her earthward, keeping the entire perfume in gentle motion. Finally, ambergris arrives as the finishing touch, the seamstress of the composition, wrapping everything in silk‐satin. It does not roar with animality; instead it smooths edges, adds a mineral‐saline depth, and imparts the unmistakable patina of fine perfumery. Under its influence, the silver waves of ambrette and musk shimmer more softly, the moss becomes more velvety, and Lady of the Night’s gown seems to trail a longer, more luxurious train. Soleil Lunar, in this guise, feels like an olfactory portrait of daylight reflected on nocturnal waters: bright yet cool, aristocratic yet tender, a fragrance that smiles with composure rather than laughter. It is a scent made for those who enjoy elegance touched by strangeness – a solar bloom suspended in lunar light.

Why do I get juicy ripe red grapes and juicy deep plum? Really nice, overripe photorealistic sweet fruits for two hours straight. Magnolia is there too, subtle and well blended.

Testing a small sample of this, really enjoying whatever note that gives it a flinty, mineral edge. The literal translation of ambergris as Grey Amber is also quite amusing.

It barely released why are people already voting it down, what does anyone get from doing this???
